The birds were falling to the ground, which was heavily shaking. There were cracks that made the Earth tear itself in several pieces. Everyone was panicking, screaming, crying and searching for others to hold against their chests. Humanity was close to extinction at the moment. It was after a couple of weeks that everyone had calmed down and started to look for the cause of the disaster. Apparantly a meteorite had landed on our planet. Scientists were searching for days to find others, but it seemed like we were not in any danger anymore. Everyone was relieved and started to rebuild their houses, their relationships with relatives and loved ones, trying to follow their daily routines again. However, the meteorite had a special... effect on humans.
Everyone who was too focused on one particular activity seemed to have changed. One who loved to run and was planning to take part in national and international competitions changed into a cheeta or an antelope. One who was a national champion in jumping high changed into a bird, so that they could fly as high as they wanted. One who was extremely focused on fashion and beauty changed into the symbol of grace and beauty, a swan. But the changes were not limited to the physical form of the humans. Some were so focused on martial arts that their personality changed. They became so violent that they could not think anymore. It was as if they had lost their conscience.
Luckily not everyone changed. Most of the ones who did, were teenagers and young adults. Very young children, adults and the elderly stayed like they were. Scientists were so shocked by the events that they gathered some of the teenagers and young adults. They wanted to experiment with them, search for their new boundaries, look how far they would go. They would test them, but... is that still ethical? How long is it until the teenagers and young adults are going to protest or flee?
The rules:
- The minimum age of a character is 12 years old and the maximum age of a character 25 years old.
- Your character does not simply love what they did before they changed, they were obsessed with it.
- Not everyone who has changed goes to live inside the laboratory, so your character has a reason for going there or someone who pushes him or her to go there.
- The changes can be limited to ears, tails, wings, etc.
- Romance is allowed, but do not write out erothical scenes in the thread.
- The minimum length of your post should be 1,500 char(acter)s, which is approximately two paragraphs (you can see how many characters you have in the right corner).
- The minimum frequency to post is once a week.
- Title every post with the name of your character.
- More than one character for one player is allowed.
