So I noticed that majority of us adore the works of Marvel, DC and Japanese Lightnovels, and I am here to pique your desires because trust me, we all want to create our stories either that it is a comic, manga etc. Then this RP is for you!
The Concept
IRU, Indra Roleplay Universe is an RP that is planned to function like our beloved MCU. The idea here is to start from scratch and develop with the progressive world building created and provided by you and me, this lifetime idea is to develop a series of stories where our heroes originate from. Considering we are not tied to Marvel or any other source material, I say it is a good thing because we can bring out our originalities that are not bounded by existing sources like Marvel and DC, we establish our own creations not follow Marvel and DC.
Now, the first phase of the story is to establish the birth of our superheroes. It can be solo, group or duo. Depending on what comes first will be the first titular superhero RP created by you. Similar to how the first Ironman movie in 2008 was set up to establish MCU, this is going to be the hardest work you and I can make. As for me, my role will basically be an equivalent of Nick Fury who gathers these heroes to perform the Avengers, in this case I do not have the name for this superhero group but you decide once we are all gathered.
The RP itself is Universal. Multiverses do not exist because the setting which I will explain will be shown below.
The Setting
Genre: Crimefiction, Superhero, Action, Christianized Cyberpunk
The story is set on where all myths are true. However there is only one legend and history that is indeed true: The Bible. Man's history is Biblical while all other myths and religion are considered idolatry in the eyes of YHWH.
In this universe, the world already discovered the existence of God when Israel in the 1940s to 1950s were acknowledged as a nation and the mere fact that they are remnants, The Wandering Jews whose existence justified the proof of God. Since then Humanity exponentially advanced in all aspects like future technologies are made in an earlier era and mermaids are discovered as well as other supernatural beings, they are among us yet we reject them. People overtime like IRL grew separated from God, their weariness and doubt whether Jesus or not will come had gotten the best of them and like IRL, we are divided.
So imagine how foolish we humans are? Everyday we get to see Angels roam free and give us messages and protect us from danger yet we continue to reject God.
How powers work
In a nutshell. The likes of ESP, magic etc all exist but the reason why we are so divided is because of our beliefs: The Idol Jam. Just as in the Bible, wr are in the last days where people reject the son of God and have their own form of Godliness. Now, the Idol Jam is a concept where we humans bind ourselves to our own deception instead of the truth and swim in the sea of lies.
