The man in black started to stretch a bit, knowing that he will have to react even faster than usuall if he wabts to bring this demon down. Then he laughed and started to walk around a bit saying with a big smile "Finally you show your true self. It seems my clients weren't kidding about you. You know, the recent jobs have been really boring so I havent had a good fight recently. Maybe you are a worthy adversary.". The man stopped, on the other side of a flat plain, fighting there would cause the least damage to the other people. Then he grabed both his revolvers and said with a cold and excited voice "Come on, Let's dance!".
He intended to fight alone so nobody else would get hurt. It isnt impossible for him to defeat the demon but it could be difficult.

The Hell Knight simply chuckled. Raising a hand, he fired a beam of flame at the mercenary, spiralling until it exploded. The sand melted into glass, heated by the fire, as the Hell Knight held up a hand, flames gathering. "What is that saying you humans like so much? If at first you don't succeed, try try again?" Bolts of flame shot from his hands, striking at the ground indiscriminately, one coming precariously close to the hovercraft. The soldiers were fleeing now, seeing their bullets were having no effect, but one of them pulled out a grenade. Unfortunately for him, the demon gestured, and it exploded in his hand, blowing his arm off. He screamed, running around, before crumpling to the ground, screaming, trying to stem the blood.

Zelos let out a cry of pain, clutching at the lost limb. That was fast! How had the demon survived that?! It was the best spell he had! He tried to pull off a healing spell, something, but he couldn't concentrate. Everything was out of focus. He was drained, Judgement had taken way too much energy to cast than he could have guessed. He didn't even have the strength to stay conscious, the darkness taking him...

The mab tried to get out of the danger zone of the demons shot as soon as possible, but it was too fast, leaving a few burns. Little time later after he managed to get up again two more shots were fired by him, both had the same target the demons chest. Unlike the shot from before the first shot was an armor penetrating bullet followed by an high explosive shot. Before the flames the man was standing, his coat singed. "Not bad you almost killed me with one shot but your moves are easy to predict. Since you dont want to cooperate I neither will hold back anymore" he said as he fired 2 more of these bursts with his revolvers.

Jacque watched the spectacle with wide eyes, "What the fuck..." he muttered incredulously as he watched the demon. Jacque looked to Zelos, then Johnathan, then finally, the pregnant woman, all three looked to be in bad shape and didn't look like they'd leave the battle field on their own. The elemental cursed and ran to Zelos, scooping the man up and over his shoulder, then scooped up the pregnant woman with water. Jacque moved as quickly as he could to the mouth of the cave and set the two down beside Johnathan and his family, "I NEED ASSISTANCE!". A few of the soldiers stopped to help, Jacque instructed them to take everyone back into the cave, an order that none of them questioned. As the humans did what they could to escort the others,, the elemental ran to the soldier who'd attempted to toss a grenade to disastrous results, "Come on soldier, you're no use to me dead." Jacque growled out as he helped the man to his feet, trying to escort him into the waiting arms of his comrades while the new comer engaged the demon. Jacque made note of the copious amounts of blood pouring from the soldier's wound, and on the battle field, then made a silent prayer that he wouldn't have to resort to using it all to combat the demon. Although human blood was comprised of enough water for Jacque to control, it make him feel nauseous whenever he used it, as if something vile was worming its way through his guts.

Ronin runs out to Jacque, looking around. He saw him trying to control the blood. He set a hand on Jacque's shoulder. "Do you need help?" he asked.

Konin watched his brother.

Nara walked up to Ronin. "Ronin.....You've never tried.. blood....." she murmured.

Ronin shrugged. "There's enough water....I can always try, right?" He looked back to Jacque. "Let me help you...."

The bullets crashed off the armor, hardly even slowing down the demon. He gestures, and your revolver explodes, the high explosive shot within going off prematurely, and it nearly takes your hand off. Using the distraction, the demon crashes down on top of you, setting his foot on your leg. You can hear a snap, as the leg breaks, and you can see the demon grin down at you, his eyes gleaming red. "A challenging fight? Ha! You humans have grown arrogant since I last walked this Earth. Hear my name. I am Ezekiel, a servant of Prince Baal." With this, Ezekiel raises his blade, ready to strike down the human before him.

Johnathan nods, and Alice rapidly starts trying to bandage their wounds with rags, Johnathan taking off his shirt to convert to more bandages. Zelos, however, was in serious risk of death due to the sheer amount of blood he had lost, and the bandages couldn't stop the flowing. "I can't do much to stop the blood. These men are going to die!" Johnathan looked pleadingly at Jacque. Obviously only through manipulation of blood could these people be saved. The pregnant woman, however, was doing quite well, and thus was left rather unattended nearby.

Jacque stared at Johnathan hoping for al the world that he wasn't implying what Jacque thought he was implying. When Johnathan's expression failed to change, Jacque audibly swallowed and let out a small, shaky sigh, "Fine...I guess I have no choice." he said hesitantly. Jacque would never admit it, but he was frightened by what he was about to do, after all the ability to control blood was present in all water elementals, but it was used primarily by those of a malicious nature, as opposed to a benevolent spirit, or in Jacque's case, a neutral one. Jacque closed his eyes and concentrated, taking a few moments to connect with the blood flowing through the veins of the injured soldier and Zelos and doing his best to ignore the vile feeling that squirmed amongst his insides. Jacque willed the blood to stop, however he knew that they needed more blood, "Come to me..." Jacque whispered seemingly to no one as he made another connection. The spilled blood on the battle field began to undulate and pool together, any blood type that was not O or O negative was instantly rejected from the forming pool, Jacque needed the universal donators for these soldiers, there was no risk of rejection from the body that way. The elemental's eyes snapped open, flashing a brilliant shade of crimson, "COME TO ME." he snarled viciously before being hit by a wave of nausea. The pool of blood began to stream into the cave like a miniature stream, rolling over and around rocks and detriment, yet somehow never picking up any of the debris. Jacque wretched as the blood pooled around him and began to seep into Zelos and the soldier, "Hurts..." he coughed, halting the blood flow before it could finish its work. Jacque clutched his abdomen and wretched again.

The soldiers were stable at least. Johnathan nodded his thanks at Jacque, laying a hand on his shoulder. He knew how much the water elemental despised controlling blood. While the battle raged outside, the wounded were tended to.
