A royal family feud: a supernatural royal war.
Once there was a great human king. His wife was a great human queen. To provide alliances, they adopted children from outside their species. They adopted ten children. Each one was from a different species, a different clan. Now, many years have passed. The children are grown up. However, the king and queen both passed away before a successor could be named among the children. And so, the fighting began. They each claimed to be the rightful successor and demanded the crown for themselves. This lead to an all out war within the royal family, within the kingdom. It was a civil war of sorts.
And now, the story shall begin.
Each of them formed a clan of their own, an army of their own. They were all determined to be the next ruler.
