Kobe liked the smell of the cemetery. He liked the flicker of the lanterns hanging above in the trees. He liked the vermin he would feed on some times. The scent of the place reminded him of if you put pine sol and vodka together. It was intoxicating. He looked shrewd at the tree lights, but it was an additional feature in his cemetery. Which, had been home for six months.

He had crawled into an opening in the enchanted mausoleum. He slumbered there during the day. It was an old tribal ground. Nothing but spirit gods enchanting him, and complaining about him being disrespectful. He had been awake all night. Not much happened, but then he heard some noise, and sensed something as abominable as he was. He looked around, and saw someone walking around. He stood on his toes, and yelled, "Hey You look hungry!"

"I hunger only for your demise." The voice said from the shadows. "Your presence here has disturbed enough of the dead who rest here. I have been tasked with your destruction, vampire."

Stepping from the shadows, her eyes were as milky white as her skin, her jet black hair hanging down her body. Death had visited her long ago, and she rose again as a lich, forever cursed to walk the earth. Now she was here, and was prepared to destroy this abomination as part of her eternal penance.

Standing twenty feet from Kobe, the shadows began to dance and swirl around her, transforming itself into the matter she controlled through her will.

Oh oh oh oh... A deceased witch come to avenge some dead spirits by way of driving away Kobe.

Kobe quickly recognized shadows formatting a dance and lollygag around her. These types of villainous magic practitioners hurled their will at you, and Kobe could conclude the night being banished inside of a shadowy straight jacket. He had fought two since he was transformed.

He moved fast. Kobe broke into pieces, invisible and heading towards the witch, where he reassembled himself and took a shot at the leg knees, kicking her very hard. The pain would be sudden. He also grabbed her hair. One last fist fighting pop that showed her what she was dealing with.

Where there once might have been pain, now there was only the indication of her opponent's presence. It was a difficult thing, to fight an opponent who could not be seen, but she didn't need her eyes to look upon the world any longer. All she needed was her magic, which triggered as soon as contact was made between his leg and her knee.

The darkness that had been forming around her had now formed into numerous amounts of spikes, which launched themselves upon his body in the micro seconds it took to reach out and grab hold of her hair. By the time his fist was raised for the strike, the area around her would be showered in a lethal precipation of razor sharp needles. Forwards and backwards they would pierce the area in which Kobe stood, going for any vital organs, be it heart, lung or brain, in an effort to kill.

Kobe hurt a little, and did find himself confused for a moment. Then, he realized shadowy arrows were jamming and piercing him in his body while he punched the witch. He wasn't new to such a thing: it was in her mind where the shows manifested, and so he went into his mind that was connected to her mind and he told her, "The wrath that drives you connects to the entity Death. Let go of these things, these things that hurt people, that see feuds as a benefit. Will you let go of your sin, of your Wrath?"

The shadows were not hurting him as bad now, and he was going to go into flight next.

You know so little, and presume so much.

Physical trauma would have no effect upon her ability to command the darkness that she held at her finger tips. With no blood pumping or air going in her lungs, how did he hope to make her stop with physical pain alone?

Alas, it was time for this to end, and so she did. Every spike within him sank deeper inside of him, then explode in a spectacle of great fire and blood. Singularly they could not do much harm, but all together would tear his body apart till it was nothing but bits and pieces. Jennifer would sustain minor damage, some burns and cuts, but altogether, not an issue for the Shadow Witch.

"Aw, you do not accept your wrath. He will come now."

Kobe did two backflips, then he ascended into the darkness of night. He hid behind the trees after flying to them. And, he felt fear. It was Death. He appeared not too far from the witch. He stood for a moment, and spoke in Latin to the witch that she must repent, or he would weaken her powers. To appease the entity, Kobe put the gem bestowed to him by the gods and created a light wind, wrapping around the cemetery and hopefully putting him in favor of the entity called Death.

With the vampire destroyed, Jennifer found her mission accomplished. The spirits were appeased, and she could return to her wandering. Before that, however, she needed to dispose of what was left of her adversary.

Pooling together the darkness around her, she transformed it into its gaseous form. It swirled down to the bloody remains of the vampire, dissolving it as its corrosive nature burning away all evidence of the interloper. In just a matter of moments, there was nothing left but dust, carried off in the wind.

"Back to the shadows with me, it seems." The moon was covered by the clouds, it's iridescent light revealing the absence of the lich when the obscurity was removed.
