[OOC] Feral

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Feral! My new and (hopefully) successful Roleplay. Congratulations! You have been chosen to go back to earth for humanity's future and survival. Survive the harsh overgrown version of earth where vegetation is everywhere and the inhabitants see you as food. Will you work to rebuild civilization, or destroy it. The choice is yours! 

Rules

1: CS MUST be posted in OOC to be accepted. When your CS is accepted, you may post it in the Character tab. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. More than 3 warnings will result in CS removal.

2: Please no inappropriate names and/or sexual content, please. Breaking this rule will result in a temporary ban depending on the severity of the post.

3: Swearing is only allowed if it is from one character to another for Roleplay purposes ONLY. If swearing is directed to a member, you will receive a warning. After more than 3 warnings, you will receive a temporary ban. If swearing is directed to a GM, you will receive a temporary ban with no warning.

4: No racist comments. I am very strict about this. Breaking this rule will result in a temporary ban.

5: You may not kill a player's character unless given permission. Ask this in the OOC: PTK (Permission To Kill). However, if death is inevitable or inescapable, then you are dead. No acceptions, no excuses. YOU ARE DEAD. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. After more than 2 warnings, you will receive a temporary ban.

6: Respect the GM(s). Breaking this rule will result in a warning. After 5 or more warnings, you will receive a temporary ban depending on the severity.

7: No godmoding. We all know this is in (almost) every Roleplay. You cannot be someone who does not die, has the strength to knock down a building even though he's 1'0 large and what-not. You can't. Even if a GM is godmoding, they too will receive the same punishments. Breaking this rule will result in warning and CS removal. More than 5 warnings will result in a PERMANENT BAN.

8: Feel free to suggest things to the GM's. Your ideas and thoughts will be heard and taken into account and may or may not be integrated into the RP.

9: You CAN be a monster, but under very high restrictions, and there may only be 1 monster for every 3 human players.

10: All players MUST start on Gia (Unless they are a monster). There is no penalty for this rule.

11: If you receive 10 or more temporary ban's, THE NEXT BAN WILL BE PERMANENT. (Ban counts reset at the end of the month.)

Equipment: A list of what your character is currently wielding/using.

Stats: You have 20 Stat points to start with, use them wisely. Max stat level is 10.

Str: Determines what you can or cannot do that involves heavy lifting, physical power, and how strong your melee attacks are.

Dex: Determines how fast you are, how much stamina you have and how quickly you can react to fast attacks or moving objects.

Int: Increases how much XP you collect, how much knowledge you gain, how many skills you can learn when leveling up and how many stat points you get for leveling up.

Wis: Determines how fast you can level up, learn skills, increase stats, e.g.

Cha: Determines how well and efficiently you can communicate with NPCs, and may reduce trade costs with NPCs.

Con: Determines your health, physical and mental endurance, and natural defense.

(this is not a full-on table-top RP. The only Table-top part of this RP are the stats.)

Earth: 2020-2050

At first, everything was normal. War had ended 10 years ago and world peace had been achieved. Life for everyone was good. Little crime, fun times, and unity. Earth had achieved the best possible state it could, and other world colonization was soon to start, and with the Earth Science Federation, or E.S.F constantly finding new studies and research, humanity discovered various new technologies like the FTL drive. Humanity had entered the golden age of expansion. But... it all went away. After the E.S.F discovered dimensional travel, hell broke loose. The E.S.F discovered a new planet in a new dimension of which they named BK828. Studies were at an all-time high on the dimension. Colonies and research stations were built there and resource exploitation was higher than ever. But humanity did not know that they were disturbing an ancient ecosystem bellow their feet. Due to the activity, the humans had been creating, something awoke underground. Hoards of monsters, creatures, and beasts tore from the ground and rained destruction on the colonies and research stations on BK828. The survivors fled and told stories of horror, death, massacre, and destruction. Soon after, the creatures moved to invade earth, and did so successfully. Earth was dead in months. The ambition of man caused its own extermination, and would soon be eradicated if humanity did not chose to launch a space station called Gia to survive in orbit of earth.

Current date

The year is now 2050. Life has been fine on Gia station so far. Crime has been higher and rationing has caused the residence to become angry, but all was well. The only problem was the fact that Gia was running out of food and power. With no resource imports and exports, the station would soon be run dry. The only chance of human survival was to go back to earth. The mission would be dangerous and those who leave may never return.
