Saint Helena Academy. Graceful. Top tier. The best of the best. AKA, the perfect breeding ground for delinquents. Or so they say.
A finely decorated and prestigious high school, St. Helena has been chosen in the top 10 “Most Academically Successful Students” for over a decade now. The awards mantled on the wall prove that. The school’s goal? To whip their students into shape before sending them out into the real world. Parents from all over the country send their children to this seemingly Eden of an education building, in the hope that one day their spawn will be just as successful as they are. Challenged with the legendarily tough entry exam and the harsh and very strict school rules policy, the students of St. Helena face hell the moment they enter through those disastrously large and intricately designed mahogany double doors. But of course, hours of busy work and poker-faced teachers aren’t the only problem for these students.
Those special few have a...habit of getting into trouble. Whether that be for just not paying attention or having "quirky" personalities that land them cleaning up the courtyard, these students are seen as the "bad eggs" of the Academy. Watchful eyes are always made sure to keep these few in line. Always. A minute doesn't go by where someone's not paying attention. It's quite extra.
"It's for your own good," they say. "Young people like you need direction in their lives."
Bullshit
School rules are almost never broken at St. Helena's. Every year, students attend, study, maybe cry, and leave. There have been a few who've tried to rebel, but have ultimately failed. Even then, the school's come out on top. But this year. This year, there has been an increase in badly behaved children. Or those who see past the overbearing structure of this academy. These students just can't seem to stay out of trouble, which poses an issue for St. Helena's perfect image. Disliked by most authority figures of the school, they are disciplined greatly for their misconduct. But the real question is: Do they really mean it?
