Hi all. I am back after a few years off. Kinda.

I'm looking to dive into maybe ONE RP right now.

About me:
I'm a single father of 3 kids who I have every other week. So every other week, my time is more spotty. I will be around, just noticeably less.
I like grit, gore, violence, adult situations and themes. Obviously, keeping withing RPG standards.

I want to POST here. We can work and collaborate offline, but I want my RPs visible. With more adult themes, obviously I'd edit out inappropriate content if there is any.

I tend to enjoy creating things and using themes and/or plot devices from other places. So, I will almost NEEEVER say "I wanna do a Harry Potter/GI Joe/GoT/40k story." I would like to "build a world where we are students at a school, but this is a school meant to combat the encroaching mythical creatures that constantly push the boundaries of our society. So this would be a combination of learning in a school environment and then going out on combat missions and the such."

I do not like boring, cookie cutter stuff. It's just not me.

Feel free to PM or respond here, I hate saying this because it potentially comes across as self aggrandizing, but this is kind of a first come, first serve thing. I do not want to commit to more now.

Thanks all.

Again, PM or respond here.

Cheers.

To add some substance.

I do NOT enjoy concepts that are too vanilla, BUT, at the same time what matters most to me is character interaction. Two players can put two characters and make it interesting.

I enjoy a myriad of settings, but most all contain conflict. It's NOT a must, but pretty close. War. Battle. Businesses. Personal conflicts. Online worlds inside of a "game."

I like war themes, sci fi. Monsters and monster hunters.

In most themes, I enjoy playing around with different time periods, or playing around with magical systems and how "things work" to give things flavor.

I've RPed zombie survival, post apoc survival, small unit combat, police... Hmm. More traditional DnD themes. High fantasy. High world building/fantasy with no magic at all. Clandestine operations. Prison worlds.

That's just some information as I have a few moments to add some stuff.

Cheers!

In fact, I'd like to revisit this!

1995. Over 5 years since the various supernatural entities and organizations raised the curtain that they had been hiding behind for centuries. Some say it was pressure from the younger generations, some say it was the elders wanting the prestige that they deserved and some say it was the Wellington murders. Regardless of what you believe, you now know that werewolves and witches aren't just kids stories and cool movies anymore. Some call it Thee Day, some Pandora and others the Opening (along with a myriad of others, some less pleasant) but whatever you call it, things aren't the same anymore, plain and simple.

For the first year or so, the world was pretty shook up and many people all over the world lashed out at supernaturals (SNs), and some of them attacked back in turn. America gradually stabilized, as did most other civilized countries and the Unity Act was instituted. At that point, ANY individual with ANY power described under the Unity act needed to be registered and could be investigated or monitored at any time, same as any human owning any fire arm or eccentric weapon. Failure to register known powers was a crime, the severity based on the knowledge of powers.

Eventually the US government created the Agency of Supernatural Affairs (ASA, sometimes referred to as ASNA) and this group was to monitor SNs, deal with individuals who violated or missed registrations or those who were in gross violation of the Unity Act.

As of now there are certain social policies that target SNs. For example, any law enforcement officer can ask any SN at any time for their certification, and SNs cannot run for any political office. But the more things change, the more they stay the same. The world didn't stop turning, people and nations moved forward, to more or less of a degree.

Welcome to Earth.

The ASA.

I'm definitely interested in the idea above regarding supernatural beings. I don't really know what else to say here, other than I look forward to writing with you should you want to write with me.

Would you like to chat here, in PM, or elsewhere? If PM is ok, just go ahead and message there, or message here, no need to respond just to...re-respond?

Thanks!
