Silvia is 5’6” and has long white hair that is always tied into a ponytail. White with black striped tiger ears are perched on top of her head. Both eyes are a light, icy blue as well. Silvia doesn’t have fangs either.

Weapon:

The two swords are connected by a “chain”. This chain is a series of capsules held together with metal links. These capsules can opened to release different kinds of dust vitals. The chain is a bit longer than Silvia’s wingspan.

Semblance:
Acustokinesis
Limitations- Silvia is unable to create sound through her semblance. She can only manipulate what is around her.

Bio:
Silvia grew up in a small town, surrounded by forest. Her father was a hunter and her mother was a tiger faunus. While her mother was very hard on her academically, her father taught her how to be a hunter.

After a while, Silvia convinced her parents to let her go to a preparatory hunter school, as long as her grades stayed up. While she was in this school, Grimm started terrorizing her hometown. Silvia’s father decided to eradicate the threatening creatures, but in the process was fatally wounded. He was left alive, but in a coma for a few months. Silvia was only allowed to visit him for a couple day because her mother became even more strict about her grades during this time.

In the end her father died, but Silvia promised him that she’d become a huntress. Filled with determination, Silvia was able to make it into Beacon Academy.

Strengths:
Hand to Hand Combat - Silvia was taught martial arts from a young age by her father. She spends a lot of time practicing when she can.
Semblance - Silvia spent most of her time in prep school learning how to use her semblance. She saw this as an important key to becoming even better.

Weaknesses:
Personal Health - While Silvia knows the ins and outs of how to crush bones, get to sensitive nerves, and down a man, she has trouble maintaining a good diet and managing stress. She tries and has even read up on it, but she finds it difficult to find the time to do it.

Weapon/Semblance Coordination - Silvia is excellent in fighting with her weapon and semblance, but has trouble with using them both at the same time to create well timed, powerful attacks. This is because she never really thought of them being used together, but rather two separate weapons.

Living off nature and all that jazz. Where are her parents? Nobody knows.

Personality:
Zora is hardworking and curious. There are times where she pushes herself too far and needs to be reminded to take a break. She is fairly harsh when it comes to training and learning. When Zora has a task to do, she'll see it through to the end. While she finds it difficult to relate to other humans, she tries her best to get along with them. On the other hand, Zora feels more at ease with the animals, and tends to feel more of an emotional bond with animals than she does with humans. When she makes friends, she has a tendency to tease them in a very friendly manner. Zora loves being in nature, separated from all man made structures. She is most comfortable here and tends to be very gentle and kind in this environment. She is looked up to by many of her fellow classmates at the academy, however she’s very insecure and self conscious around others. She comes off as humble to most, when it’s actually a sense of self deprecation driving her words. Zora believes that when placed among the beauty and grace that is nature, she cannot compare, though she does try.

Tome (Color and Abilities):
Zora’s Tome takes the form of a intricate wooden bow with a few green ribbons of silk wrapped around the ends. When she draws the string back, a brown arrow that is seemingly made out of light appears notched in the bow.



A part of Zora’s abilities is to have an empathic link with animals. The can communicate with them, but has no control over them. Every animal has it’s own free will to accept her requests or not. Therefore she makes it a point to get on good terms with the animals surrounding wherever she may be.

The second part of Zora’s abilities is rarely used, and for a very valid reason too. She can transform parts of her body to have similar traits to animals which can improve a function, such as claws, fangs, or ears. However, once she is done with it, Zora must remove the part from her body. If she had claws, she’d have to cut off her fingers, with fang’s she’d have to rip them out, and with ears, cut them off. Because of her low pain tolerance, she usually ends up passing out for about a full day. While she is out, her body regenerates the natural state of the body part. Once she wakes up, the body part is fully regenerated. Usually the smaller the body part the less time Zora is passed out/regenerating. If she does not within 12 hours, then the particular transformation begins to cause pain to her. Over a course of 24 hours, the pain continues and usually a headache develops. During these hours, the transformation rots off until it disappears. It then takes the time to regenerate which varies depending on the size.

As a kid, Nick’s early life was fairly average. His parents both worked at a well paying job, and they both loved him and were there for him. Plus he had a cute younger sister who was 4 years younger than him. However, once Nick turned 11, his father won the lottery. At first everyone was excited, but eventually the money started creating rifts between his family. Nick’s parents eventually got a divorce over the money and have been arguing since then. Nick was forced to take care of his younger sister, and make sure she got everything she needed since their parents were too busy arguing. Nick was very academically well off, however, he chose to stay at a community college rather than go off to a prestigious college. This was so that he could keep an eye on his younger sister.

Profession: Amaya is a student at Shine City Academy. She is majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and minoring in Psychology. She also works part time as a waitress at a fancy traditional Japanese restaurant called the Tiny Snowflake located in Shine Junction.



Bio/Personality: Amaya grew up with two extremely busy parents as an only child. Her mother and father owned a consulting company together, so she had a lot of money growing up. She originally started taekwondo because she was alone a lot, and her parents worried about her well being. Eventually she grew to love it and started taking many other forms of martial arts. When Amaya went into college, she wanted to go away from her home and be more adventurous, but she still wanted to live in a larger city, which is why she choose Shine City Academy. She lives in the dorms on campus to get the full college experience (plus she didn't know anyone going into the academy Freshman year). Amaya didn't want to rely on her parent's money, so she got a part time job, which she absolutely loves. Amaya decided to work there because she enjoys traditional Japanese culture and also she thought the uniforms were very pretty on her (not that she'd admit that to anyone). The pay is enough to get her by, with a bit to spare on a good day.

Amaya is a quiet person, especially with strangers. She sometimes gets social anxiety because she's not used to interacting with others. Amaya is very good at handling small children, although she doesn't really like to spend time with them. Once one gets to know Amaya, she can be very kind and gentle. She cares a lot for what little friends she has. She can be silly at times and enjoys laughing with others. However, she does have a limit. If you ever get on her nerves or are rude to her, she is terrifying. Since she is well trained in martial arts, she isn't afraid to hurt others. Especially if you hurt her friends. Amaya finds the way others think interesting. She's also a great listener, but has trouble comforting. Not that she doesn't try her best in doing so. Amaya also has pocrescophobia, or the fear of gaining weight. She has never told anyone this. And while she isn't anorexic or bulimic, she is a health nut. So she works out regularly, and does her best to eat healthy foods. She also makes sure to never measure her weight. While it isn't severe, it still affects her from time to time.

Personality
Tara was a bit of a tomboy as a younger kid, and still keeps that more rough and tough front to most. She’s fairly violent, especially when someone embarrasses her. She is physically fit from spending her weekends flitting around from sport to sport. However, those who know her know that she's pretty protective towards her friends. If someone ever crosses her, she is willing to beat them within an inch of their life. On the other side, she’s a sucker for romance. Almost any sappy romance move would have her blushing like a mess. When it comes to anything, Tara hates losing. She doesn’t really take it well, but it's more entertaining than annoying to others when she loses. She's pretty smart in school, however nowhere near the point where people start offering her scholarships left and right. Tara has some difficulty being honest about her feelings. However, some things are blatantly obvious in her behaviour and body language.

Tara can do a little parkour from watching Rye. Dungeons and dragons? LARP? She's all over that, she loves being creative.

However, there are time where Tara doesn’t mind sitting around and not socializing with Kylie during parties and such. When crowds are overwhelming, Tara tends to stay more quite and hang out with her less social best friend. When dealing with requests and demands, she can be a bit annoying and reluctant about it, but she'd do whatever for the most part.

Short Bio
Tara’s house is fairly poor. They sometimes struggle to make ends meet because her mom doesn’t have a very high education. Tara was born out of wedlock, and her dad didn’t want to take responsibility. Her elementary school was of low quality, but in middle school she was able to get into a better school system. It’s where she met the twins, Riley and Kylie. They became best friend rather quickly. She was an "honorary" member of "The Woman's Appreciation Club" that Rye created mostly so that she could tease the boys about the club. However, she still follows them around and occasionally foiled their plans. She now goes to the Millington University because it was the cheapest and even then, she works a lot in order to pay for everything.

Leila is fully Lebanese. She has light olive skin and is very physically fit. She has broad shoulders and a smaller waist, but don't be fooled she is fairly strong from years of off and on training. Leila's legs are very muscular while her arms are not as much. She has long wavy hair that is a dark brown. However, her hair us usually tied up in a ponytail or clipped up in a bun to keep the hair out of her face. She also has dark brown, almond shaped eyes.

Leila wears fairly dark clothing ranging from a medium grey to black. It helps her go fairly unnoticed in when sneaking up on someone. Most of her clothes are skins tight or stay close to her body. This helps Leila make less noise. Plus the clothes are light and unrestrictive, again, in order to help her fight. Other than that Leila wears a long black ribbon around her right wrist in memory of her late sister. She has learned how to keep them quiet and even how to use them to help her fight or throw sound in a different direction to keep her hidden.

Personality
Leila is extremely hard working. When she wants to do something, she will be dead set on it with nothing to stop her. Especially if she's passionate about something. She also tries very hard to be like her sister. She tries to be kind, courteous, helpful, and selfless. However, whenever she get really excited or is fighting, those traits tend to fade away and she acts more like herself. Leila can be very snarky and energetic in battle. She is very competitive and hates losing. That's why she trains hard and isn't afraid of risks. Leila is very family oriented and loves her family a lot. There are times where she gets home sick, but then she reminds herself of the good she's doing for the world. Many times Leila will push any negative emotions aside and deal with them by finding something else to occupy her mind.

During fights Leila can become lazer focused when tasked with a job. She is good at planning strategies and noticing everything that her teammate's are doing. She can place herself in the weakest part of their formation. However, she's not much of a leader. She's not afraid or unqualified to lead, she just prefers to support others.

Background
One of Leila's first memories is when her mother came back from the market bruised and beaten. She was 5 at the time. The memory is quite vivid. She can remember the blood dripping and exhausted look on her mother's face. Nazmat and her father both helped her mother tend to her wounds, but Leila could do nothing. After that Leila's father put both of the girls in a self defense class because he wanted them to be able to protect themselves in a society that looked down on women.

Leila's family was poor. Her father worked tirelessly as a laborer while her mother stayed at home to take care of the house and kids. They family prioritized academics, so the girls were always pressured to do well in school. However, the girls were understanding and worked hard.

After 4 years, Leila wanted to advance her self defense classes into a full martial arts class. Nazmat dropped because she thought that she had learned all she needed to know. Plus, she no longer had time for the classes with all of her academic work. Nazmat wished to become a doctor and heal rather than fight and injure.

When Leila was 12 and Nazmat was 17, they went out to the market to pick things up for their mother to cook dinner. Nazmat was also planning on buying seeds for a small garden she was working on with the small amount of money the two siblings had conjured from finding stray coins. Leila really looked up to her sister, even if they did occasionally fight, so she didn't mind leaving the money to her sister. However, once Leila spotted a really neat dagger, she was starting to regret the decision. The two argued a bit before Nazmat won. Nazmat wanted to talk to the 'cute' boy who helped run the stall with the seeds while looking nice, so she took the black ribbon out and handed it to her sister. The older sibling then instructed her sister to sit and wait until she came back. After a while of sitting around waiting, Leila hear the sound of a gun firing. Instantly, women started screaming and men started yelling. Leila sat frozen, unsure of what she should do since her sister wasn't there. A moment passed before Leila could see what everyone was running from. In the eye of the storm her sister lay on the dirt with blood all around her. A group of men stood around yelling. They all wore the same insignia. These men would later become known as the United Brothers, a terrorist group that was just rising out of the ashes at the time. Leila couldn't do anything, it was too late. So she stood up, knowing she needed to do something, anything. But before she could make up her mind, the terrorists began to spread out grabbing people. One grabbed her and pointed a gun at her head, terrified, she stood stark still. He yelled at everyone running to stop. He then started explaining the reason why he did what he did. Leila didn't care though, she had to escape. During her captor's rant she was able to remember her training. She was able to surprise him in an attempt to throw him that didn't really go as planned. She used this distraction to get away and run home. Leila cried and told her parents everything. When they went back to her sister's dead body, the police had cleared everything up. While her parents were mourning, Leila found the black ribbon she dropped and tied it around her wrist so she wouldn't lose it.

After that incident, Leila trained even harder at martial arts and even took up using all types of weapons, including guns. She trained in all her spare time when she wasn't studying or helping around the house. Leila's parents were heartbroken afterwards, so Leila did her best to be perfect just like her sister was. Once Leila completed all the schooling available to females, she decided that she needed to get a job. Leila's parents had been trying to marry her off for a long time, but the girl refused. She started saving females from being beaten on the street and became a vigilante of sorts. However, Leila's mother was very against it, wanting her daughter to be safe and sound. The news of Leila helping stop hate crimes and other criminal activity spread around since Leila did nothing to cover her identity.

However, this lead to Leila's father being fired from his job. With no income and a guilty conscious, Leila stopped her vigilante activities and started getting paid to beat people up. This lead to her eventually killing people for a price to help her family. She kept this a secret, claiming that she was working as a maid to a fairly popular hotel.

Once Leila heard the Sentinels were recruiting, she wanted to join. She wanted to do her family justice and do the right thing. They had seemed like silly stories when she was young, but Leila remembered her sister loving them. So she set out to redeem herself and truly live as her late sister would have wanted.

Father: Madani Samara is a family man who's main concern is his family's well being. After serving in the last war behind the scenes, he's seen a lot of deaths. Some that he could've prevented. He's a very passionate man with a big heart.
Sister (Deceased): Nazmat Samara was the perfect child. She excelled in everything she attempted. She also was kind and courteous to her elders, but fun and mischievous with children. Nazmat was 5 years older than Leila and was passionate about gardening and medicine.


Abilities
Shadow Assault - Leila can sneak up behind someone and choke them out with her black ribbon.
Double Strike - Leila can separate the two halves of her polearm and connect a long chain between the two parts, but this takes time.
Deception - Leila's ultimate can turn her invisible, however this only lasts a limited amount of time. It also doesn't hide sound or touch, so she has to be careful.

This RPG is a slice of life about young adults living in the same apartment complex. It will be filled with lots of drama and romance. Taking place in a modern day American city named Hartford, Eden Gardens is an affordable but charming apartment. It’s popular with college students because it does not require a down payment and is located near Skyline University. However, if one pays their rent even a day late, they will be kicked out immediately. One thing about this living area is that the owner of the Eden Gardens has remained a secret. Several rumors circulate around the premises about the identity of said owner, but nothing has been confirmed. Some have even claimed that the owner lives in the apartment.

Hello, and welcome to this roleplay! I will be GMing this RP and @BlueAjah will be Co-GMing. We’re planning on having this be a low advanced/high casual level RP, so around two paragraph with good spelling and grammar. We also expect quality interactions, which means that not everyone will be in one place unless specified and most characters will interact frequently with others. In order to make this experience fun for everyone we would like for people to submit their character sheets via PM. That way we can have a more personal discussion about how a character can reach their full potential and what role they will play in the RP as a whole. Along with this CS we would like a sample writing of your character getting caught in the rain.



Rules:

Have fun! - There’s no point in roleplaying if everyone isn’t having a good time :) Try not to be too serious and just enjoy the drama that’s about to unfold
No Fighting - Please don’t fight; it’s as simple as that. Try to keep all drama within IC or take it to the PMS if necessary.
Keep it PG 13 - Do I even need to explain this? Once clothes start coming off, fade to black or take it to the PMS.
No Godmodding - This is obvious, please don’t do it. If you don’t want someone doing it to you, you shouldn’t do it to someone else. It’s fine if someone have given explicit permission to control their character, otherwise, just don’t it.

Power: Name can read the emotions and intensity of said emotions in any person. When she looks at someone, she sees a ball of light where their heart would be. The color of the light determines the emotion and the intensity of the light determines the intensity.

Likes: Reading, Learning, Logic, Puzzles, flowers, nature, and animals.

Dislikes: A lot of noise, Crowds, Spicy food, unintelligent people, being wrong, being lied to, and psychopaths.

Personality: Amelia is very full of herself. She is proud of her many accomplishments, and strives to gain more. She frequently pushes herself beyond her boundaries and manages to take the correct risks. However, this has made her arrogant and a bit rude. Amelia is quite antisocial and has difficulty interacting with others. Especially those of the opposite gender. In order to mask her awkwardness, she acts sassy and indignant. But she is actually just embarrassed and frustrated at her inability to make friends.

Backstory: Amelia lived a fairly normal life. Her parents were normal middle class citizens, and Amelia's older sister was just another girl trying to get through life. The same could be said to Amelia. She learned to love reading and books from her grandmother, and also learned to appreciate nature. However, once puberty hit her, she began to see these weird balls of light. Eventually, she learned what they meant. At first she didn't tell anyone because she was unsure if it was natural. But eventually she let it slip to one of her friends. This person quickly turned her back to Amelia and started to spread rumors, half lies and half truths. Soon, she was always alone and learned to live with it. She began working harder at school and spent her time reading alone. She kept this up even when she moved away to college. She was startled when someone approached her about her ability, and was suspicious. Once they revealed the fact that they were searching her out for a position at some detective thing, she accepted. It might look good on a resume, plus it paid well.

In-Depth Appearance
Alex has very striking light blue eyes, they're usually the first thing people notice. That and his white/silvery hair. He likes having his hair long, but it bobby pins it out of the way when it gets in the way. His skin is fairly pale since he was always inside when he was young. His parents never liked being outdoors more than they had to. He is taller than most at 6'2", and sometimes he teases those who are shorter than him if he gets a good reaction out of them. He's fairly physically active because his sister drags him to the gym every once in a while. However, he does prefer to binge watch Netflix and play music, so no six packs. Sorry ladies. If it makes you feel any better he does have fairly big feet. Alex wears a large variety of clothing, but he has a good sense of fashion from being out in the public quite a bit. He on a casual day, he'll wear fairly classy clothing.

Alex's biggest fear is losing his sister. They've spent their entire life together through thick and thin, and he couldn't imagine his live without her. Especially now that they're so reliant on each other.

Personality
Alex is quite a people person, unlike his sister. He is fairly comfortable interacting with all types of people and is persistent in making friends. He's a nice guy who really just wants to get to know people better. However, if you say anything bad about his sister, he become very passive aggressive. It's a very slow transition. Usually, he'll give a warning to the person who did it, but if they continue he gets more and more savage. Many people perceive him as a player type person, but he teases everyone equally and it doesn't necessarily mean he has a crush on someone. He's also unintentionally good at attracting females, but he can be really dense when it comes to actual romance.

Background
Alex and his sister, Abby, are the twin children of two very prominent politicians. As young children, they'd move a lot and were in the public eye. So, they only really had each other since all their other friends left. Some parents even warned their kids to stay away from the twins because of their parent's political views. Alex is 17 minutes older than his sister and enjoys teasing her about it. He was always the one who dealt with people verbally. Abby was the one who dealt with people physically if it came to it. Once the two got to college, their parents decided to send them to Evergreen Academy. However, one day Abby got a hold of information and documents that their parents tried to hide. Their parents had just hosted a fundraiser for a charity. However, Abby found out that a large majority of the proceeds actually went into the Clarke's own pocket. After a large debate, the twins came to a conclusion that they needed to release this information. Since the charity was very well known, the scandal was devastating to the Clarkes. Alex and Abby were basically disowned by their parents because they were so furious. Since Evergreen received a lot of support financially from the Clarkes, they twins were kicked out. They ended up going to the cheaper college, Skyline University, and living in the best apartment they could afford. Now they both have to work hard for money, something they've never really done before. They are well known around town and in the university because of the scandal, but the two don't regret their decision.

Madelyn is 5'8" with a pear shaped build. She has a little muscle on her bones, which she improves upon by going to yoga. She especially has nice toned legs and a strong core. However, she has very little upper body strength. During the summer her skin is usually a darker tone, reflecting her Latin american roots, but during the winter, she is easily white passing. She definitely knows how to dress in order to accent her good features since she's self conscious about her flaws. She has a dark birthmark at the base of the back of her neck, and it annoys her to no end, especially since she can't really see it. It's difficult to cover, so she keeps her curly brown hair long and down at all times to help. That along with some imperfect makeup cover it.

Madelyn has hazel eyes and a friendly look on her face. A smile is almost always on her face, even if it's occasionally condescending or disapproving. She carries herself without fear, but usually gives off the impression that she's a stereotypical white girl. Madelyn has a sweet tone to her voice, and uses a lot of inflection when she speak. She never uses physical indicators or direct words to express her feelings and meaning. Instead she uses the tone and attitude of her voice.

Madelyn is a free spirit. She lives, doing whatever is pleasing to her regardless of what society may think. However, she's very protective of her friends. The second someone starts criticizing one of her friends, she will stand up for them. If she sees another person being bullied, she will no doubt step in. Madelyn is very aware of social issues and does her best to make sure everyone is loved.

When it comes to work, Madelyn has to come up with a system. She finds the best way to do things and sticks with that. Otherwise, she has difficulties with finishing on time. When it comes to working with others, she can usually be alright as long as they are rational and efficient. If not, they better listen to every command she dishes out. She uses her time wisely and almost always uses all the time she is allowed to get a task done. Being a bit of a perfectionist, Maddie tends to very rarely be satisfied with her work. She works so hard because she is afraid of failure. She doesn't want people to look at her work and be disgusted with it. It's her biggest fear, something that was caused by the expectations placed on her as a young girl by her parents and now by herself.

When it comes to close relationships, Madelyn is a very physical person. She loves touching others whether it be clinging to their shoulder, to holding hands, to even cuddling. However, when it comes to meeting cute girls, Maddy turns into a flustered mess and oh boy, there are a lot of cute girls. She tries to be smooth, but always manages to fail at every turn. Sometimes it works out, but it's always an embarrassing story and her friends constantly tease her about it.

Madelyn grew up in a fairly normal middle class home. She was the oldest out of 3 children. Her younger brother and baby sister are quite a bit younger than her since she was actually an accident. Her mother is from Honduras and her father is a Caucasian man. Every other summer, Maddie would go to Honduras to spend time with her mom's mom's side of the family. Her mom's dad was actually from America, making Madelyn only a quarter Latina American.

Because of her mother's poor upbringing, Madelyn has always been pushed by her parents to do well in school so she can prosper later in life. Since Maddie loves her parents, she always did her best. Though she wasn't exactly a straight A student, she always tried hard and always ended up with mostly As. In high school, Maddie began theatre in order to boost up her college resume. Since she learned how to make clothes and sew from her grandmother, she joined the costumes department. She eventually grew to love theatre. She loved the people, the reward of a good show, the fun after parties, it was overall a great time.

Madelyn went to a college in Indiana since they offered her the most money. She's perusing a major in civil engineering degree in order to appease her parents, but doesn't actually find any pleasure in the field. She is minoring in theatre, though. Because of this, she started to work at Abracadabra! in order to complete her degree. It seemed like Abracadabra was the best choice since it was close and in it's past it was a well known company. However, once Maddie learned that it wasn't as great as it used to be, she was a bit disappointed. Not that that stopped her from actually getting a job there. She's a relatively new addition to the group since she joined 6 months ago.

//DESCRIPTION:
Lavanya is more of a tomboy, so she's not very fashion forward. In fact, she prefers comfort and function over style. She frequently wears men's jeans for those top quality large pockets. You could fit an entire dog in there! She also prefers to wear jackets over whatever top she has on for temperature regulation. Inside and outside temperatures can vary so drastically, it's ridiculous. Her favorite is one of her father's old bomber jackets. It's fairly worn, but that's what makes it so comfortable. Lavanya also always has multiple hair ties on her. Her hair is fairly thick, so it's not uncommon that she would break a hair tie. She usually ties it up when she really needs to concentrate or to do physical activity.

Since Lavanya does quite a bit of athletic activities, she has a fairly toned body. However, she also eats a lot of baked goods left over from the bakery, so it's not like she's a model. She doesn't like putting on makeup, but will do it when working to draw in customers. Even then, it's pretty simple. Lavanya has fairly good posture from all the sports and she carries herself with purpose. This is mainly so people get out of her way when she walks through the hall and don't bump into her.

Lavanya grew up with only her father taking care of her. Her mother developed uterine cancer shortly after giving birth, and died because of it later on. Lavanya's father learned quickly how to take care of the both of them on his own, however, the two still faced many difficulties. The family did not have much money before, but the medical bills for all of the cancer treatment had stacked up against them. Lavanya's father was in college at the time, getting a degree in the culinary arts. Luckily he had served in the military, so the tuition and classes were taken care of, but there was still the cost of living. After getting his degree, he started up his own bakery which had been his dream from the start. At first, it was extremely difficult not only did they have to pay off all the loans that had accumulated. After awhile, things got better in terms of money, but it also meant that Lavanya's father was busier. Lavanya learned how to take care of herself and the apartment they lived in on top of the bakery. She became independent, but whenever the two had time they would bake together. It was something they bonded over and it also helped out the bakery.

Also at this time, Lavanya became very athletic. Her father had shown her how to defend herself with some of his military knowledge and was a big soccer fan. In order to pass the time and have something to show her father to impress him, she joined a soccer club. She learned how competitive she could get, but also realized that she wasn't much of a team player. So, she switched to tennis, but that still wasn't her speed. Lavanya spent a lot of time dabbling in various sports, never fully committing to one or the other.

When she became old enough, Lavanya started working at the bakery. She took the job of cashier in the evening after school and in the early hours of the morning before school. She used every spare moment at the bakery to study and do homework. Because of this, she became a bit of a coffee addict to help curb her constant state of sleepiness. Recently, though, the bakery has gained enough funds to where more staff could be hired. This new development has given Lavanya more time, but her addiction to coffee remained. She spends most of her new free time studying. High school was quickly coming to an end and Lavanya still had a big question in front of her. She could either work hard and get scholarship to go to college, enter the military like her father did, or stay at home to help out with the bakery.

Lavanya isn't one to listen to authority. The only one she really listens to is her father because he's the only one who has earned her respect. While she really wants to please him, she also isn't opposed to breaking a few rules and trying new things out. To her, it's better to ask for forgiveness than for permission. As long as she doesn't die, her father will forgive her for most things. Lanvanya, on the other hand, has a more difficult time forgiving those who have earned her trust. Unless they apologize, she will refuse to talk to them. Because of this she has ended up burning more bridges than she can count. She has enough of fake smiles and niceties at the bakery especially since those kind of people always end up fucking over her dad's business.

//ABILITIES:
◼ ULTRAVIOLET MANIPULATION | Lavanya is able to control ultraviolet light. She has yet to discover this power, but is unconsciously able to attract UV light during times of emotional stress. Lavanya is also resistant to the bad effects of ultraviolet light. This means that she doesn't get sun burns or skin cancer for being out in the sun for too long. She also produces a lot of vitamin D and therefore has strong bones. She has never broken or fractured a bone in her life. Lavanya also rarely gets sick from bacterial infections. Her body fights these infections by concentrating UV light onto it, and therefore killing it.

Eventually, Lavanya will be able to control what kind of UV she is using, UVA, UVB, or UVC. She will be able to cause sunburns, blindness, and potentially skin cancer. However, her powers could also be used for more convenient things like tanning, disinfecting, and helping improve vitamin D production.

//SKILLS:
◼ Athletics | Lavanya is more on the agility side of athletic than strength. She has pretty good dexterity due to the various sports she's been in.

◼ Weaponry | Lavanya knows how to use guns from her father teaching her, but her aim isn't always the best.

//LIMITATIONS:
◼ UV Storage | Lavanya has to absorb and store UV light in order to be able to produce it. However, after time, this store is used up by her own body and diminishes. This skill can be improved upon, and depends on the intensity of the UV light that day. At high UV indexes, Lavanya can store up to a half hours worth of UV light. This then slowly diminishes over the course of 2 hours, if she doesn't use it.

//WEAKNESSES:
◼ Novice | Lavanya is inexperienced in her powers. She has also never been in a physical fight, so while she knows some self defense, executing it is a different story.

◼ Sunlight | Lavanya is most power outside in the sun. Unless she has prepared before hand and soaked in the sun for awhile, she's pretty useless inside. She is also almost always unable to use her powers at night.

◼ Offense | Lavanya's powers aren't inherently offensive. They can only cause long lasting and sometimes permanent damage, but nothing to ultimately kill an opponent. Therefore, her skill would be more useful in something such as torture or punishment rather than combat.

Personality: Sylvaine is seen as serious and quiet, but can be quite sincere and looks after others. She is an intellectual person especially in battle, but far from cold-hearted. She is faithful to Ganda and like other mountain elves is a lover of the stars. While she is used to a loner-type lifestyle, she is not anti-social. All it takes is a little alcohol to open her up and she will reveal her competitive nature and more playful attitude.

Appearance: Sylvaine has long choppy brown hair, one side of which is pulled into a tight french braid. She has hard steel grey eyes which are always taking in her surroundings in a calculating manner. Her body is fit from practice and fighting, but still fairly slim from having to ration food while on the road. Sylvaine's armor is a deep blue with silver accents and a thick leather belt that acts as a holster for her knives and swords. Sylvaine carries two scimitars and three daggers all wrapped with a dark goldish yellow leather around the handle for grip. The leather on the scimitar extends a few inches past the hilt and holds beads and feathers collected from various places Sylvaine has visited. Both the scimitar and daggers have embellished stars and constellations which shine brightly against the dark grey metal. As Sylvaine is always on the road, she keeps a single leather bag filled with her sparse belongings and gold.

Class: Sylvaine works as a mercenary, but keep her prices low. She retains her right to decline any job she finds immoral or not worth her time. This means that while she is not very wealthy or well known, the townsfolk still appreciate her work and she is occasionally paid in food or a place to sleep. She is proficient in fighting with her swords and daggers, and is slightly proficient in magic. Being a mountain elf, she was taught the ins and outs of magic, but was only ever able to grasp basic control over the elements. She will use magic to occasionally aid her close combat fighting, but only sparingly as it can take a lot out of her. Sylvaine is also a very intellectual person and uses this in her fighting. She is strategic and uses this to win her battles. She is not the strongest, nor the fastest, nor the most flexible, but she uses her brain over her brawn.

Story: Sylvaine grew up with her family in the mountains with other mountain elves. Her parents were skilled in Alchemy, but Sylvaine herself could never move beyond the basics of magic. After realizing this, her parents decided to let her train with a human swordsman who lived in the village for a short while. They wanted her to be able to defend herself if necessary, but she grew to love sword fighting. After the swordsman left the town, Sylavine spent years practicing on her own and yearning for another mentor to teach her more. Once she was old enough, her parents let her leave the village where she traveled to Helsset to find a new mentor. However, while in Helsset, Sylvaine had very little money. So she worked odd jobs to keep herself fed while she looked for a mentor. Finally, Sylvaine met a retired Royal Guardsman who took her in and taught her how to fight. While studying under him, Sylvaine was told many stories of his own travels across Eana which finally inspired her to do the same. So Sylvaine became a mercenary to travel the kingdom and help the people who needed it most.

Motive: Sylvaine answered the call of the king because she cares about the kingdom. She's been far and wide and has experienced all that Eana has to offer. These experiences have motivated her to protect the kingdom in her own way and while normally it's through her mercenary job, she has decided to help the kingdom in a more direct manner during this time of need.
