Could I make something out of nanobots, or is that illogical?

Not so much illogical as extremely inconvenient and expensive. Nanobots are very useful machines, especially for medical purposes. But the problems with them in a broader sense are many, without any specific order here are five ways of describing them:

Materials; What are the nanobots made of, are they a metal, an organic compound (maybe they are freemoving cells), or some kind of metamaterials? They're metamaterials.

How easily accessible are the atomic or molecular components?
Not very, it's a blend between DNA and nanotechnology

What are the limits of these materials in terms of tactile strength, hardness, pressure, cold, heat, radiation, oxidation etc?

They have the hardness of a diamond, extremely tough resistants to extreme temperatures, but melt quickly when exposed to super heated metals and weapons.

Energy; How are the nanobots powered, do they have internal fuel-cells, glucose, microscopic solar-panels, are they fueled by ambient radiation be it alpha beta or gamma or through the usage of a thermocoupling, subspace microwaves or nearby electromagnetical fields? The issue is their extreme size constraint, holding a charge without magical technology of hyperspace linkage mean they either have to have a constant supply of energy or have a short active time limit before recharge.

They absorb energy, be it solar, electrical, friction, heat, ect to keep themselves going, much like a perpetual motion mechanism.

Capabilities; What is the use of the nanobots, because due to their size, it is hard for them to do more than a single or a few things. Maybe respond to a chemical imbalance by releasing medicine or expand to seal a wound. If the function of the nanobots are of the more destructive variety, how is this achieved? is it something dependant on their energy-levels to perform certain actions, are they dependant on outside environmental factors, or do they need to attain a certain group-density to reach the grey goo critical mass. This is of course the information about the nanobots most influenced by the other four points.

They can build almost anything out of anything. Like McGiver but near microscopic.

Control; Do the nanobots follow a preset of commands or instructions regardless of what the user wants? Or are they all equipped with a small processor and narrow ai, maybe a connection network to all the other nanobots for a pseudo-hivemind. They try to carry out their latest instructions.

Production; This is the kind of nanobots that assemble more of themselves out of nearby raw metals. Anything that can conduct a electrical charge can be used to create more.

Ok, I must apologize. I did not manage to properly explain this.
These are the reasons that nanobots are NOT used for much more than medical enhancements.
And even the extremely few places that have more versatile kinds of nanobots struggle mightily with these five categories of PROBLEMS regarding nanobots.

I would not have accepted a character who is a mass of nanobots.

Now then, for your specific kind of nanobots;

The answer is a solid no. Three main reasons:
1) the materials they are made of and the way they are produced directly contradict eachother, as well as having them be made out of different materials is one of the big issues.
2) you put heat as a problem, but also heat as an energy source, again a contradiction. And again, the problem is they cant have all these different ways of getting energy.
3) the versatility, no, just no.

Ok. I'll see if I can think of something that won't break the rules/game.
