Episode 1, Five Days Later.

December 2, Tuesday

It has been six days since Black Friday, where anyone was shopping and buying Chirstmas gifts for love ones. Robert looked at the entrance of the Grand Central Terminal and proceeded to the gate. He got a crowbar out of his backpack and used it to open it and then put a trash bin under it and walked inside. It was empty as the Time Square was, no lights, no people, no sounds, nothing. He held a flashlight and looked around, all of the stores were untouched, it must of been because, they closed the Terminal before everyone went crazy. He then turned and looked at Banana Republic, the rich people's store, and walked away from it. He stopped at the center of Vanderbilt Hall and looked around, a good place of another quarantine zone. He used his arm as a hologram and a menu popped up, he went to messages and recorded on:

"Division agents, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. Repeat, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. You may not come, if you don't want to."

He stopped and then got his orange glow sticks and put them down as light sources and looked around the stores for anything useful.

Amelia had been making her way up Fifth Avenue towards Central Park before a small light blinked from the console on her arm. Looking down it seemed she had a message "Division agents, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. Repeat, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. You may not come, if you don't want to.". She furrowed her brow from beyond her tinted glasses which outlined the terrain. Why would it be an optional meeting, surely it couldn't be that important if it was optional. Snapped from her thoughts she looked up as she heard a sound from ahead, darting to cover behind a smashed up yellow taxi. She peered over, seeing a small group of people walking out of a building before disappearing into another. They were armed and seemed to be in conversation, one of them had stopped to look down both ends of the street that made Fifth Avenue before continuing to join his friends. Amelia moved back from her cover and opened up her map before tagging the location given in the message. She recorded a reply, "Copy that, agent on route" before sending it to his ID which imprinted on his message. It didn't take her long to reach the destination, a few sightings here and there but nothing seeming to be hostile. As she approached she saw the orange lights left on the floor and once again pulled up her arm console, pinging the sender that she was at the destination. She would remain in cover till he revealed himself to confirm the message.

Frost stood upon the former Food Emporium on the corner on 3rd Avenue and 31st east, It was the tallest building for a while and could see relatively far for New York. He took a deep breath of cold air and exhaled through his mouth, a large cloud a steam left his mouth and slowly filtered into the air. Frost began to scan the horizon for anything interesting, watching the bridges, the roads and any way to get in or out of this city.
After a long look Frost saw nothing of real interest, a few civilians keeping out of dodge but besides that there was nothing, he picked up his large ruck sack and mounted on his back; walking towards the door he ticked off another sector in his head. As Frost opened the lime green door to the stairwell he received a message, "Division agents, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. Repeat, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. You may not come, if you don't want to." Frost stopped for a second and opened up his holographic map.
"Fuckers" he exclaimed with his thick Scottish accent, grand central station was so close but yet it was out of his way. He closed the holographic map and called in on the radio, "Agent frost reporting, eta 20 minutes to Grand centeral".
Frost sighed as he began to walk down the stairs, all he wanted was to complete his reconnaissance and to set up sniper dens for survivability. Eventually he made it to the bottom floor of the food emporium, before opening the door he prepared his rifle, slowly opening the door scanning the surroundings he began his journey to Grand Centeral.

East 42nd Street, en route to 77 E 42nd, Grand Central Terminal

Her movements were quick, yet unhurried as she darted between the abandoned vehicles, keeping low to minimize her profile as well as to avoid potential obstacles. Her padded boots softened the impact of her footsteps, allowing her to move quietly, but retain speed. This area had seen some intense looting in the first stages of the virus, the smashed windows of the Pfizer headquarters showing how desperate people were to gain any medical advantage against the virus. She took cover in an alleyway for a moment to wait for a passing group to move on, their voices loud and brash advertising both their confidence and their intent towards others. Without order, many groups such as this had come into prominence, as there were few who could step up against them. The voices began to dissipate as they moved further south on 2nd Avenue, and after quickly checking the load in her pistol, Genevieve was moving again. It was hard for her to watch as the city crumbled into anarchy, knowing that she could be doing something to help, but she had orders from higher-up, and she had to adhere to them. To break from orders to cull a few gangs could put an objective in danger, and without securing the government, it would be harder for order to reassert itself. Right now, of course, the Division needed her skills, and she would answer their call.

Ahead a couple of buses had been overturned in the middle of the intersection, blocking off East 42nd past 3rd Avenue by way of a traffic pile-up. She had a choice now, of either following south and potentially running into the group, or moving north and going into unknown territory. Looking both directions and seeing no immediate threats, she decided that up-and-over would be the better option, taking to the roof of a nearby vehicle and vaulting to the top of the bus. Crouching down, she once again looked all around to make sure that she was not seen or heard, before dropping lightly on the other side and continuing her mission. A few minutes later would bring her to the East 42nd side of Grand Central, and into the building itself. She was surprised to see that the terminal had been spared the rampant looting that had ravaged other parts of Manhattan, with several of the higher-end stores still intact. Making a note to check back into some of these places, she moved into cover as she heard movement ahead. Taking out her monocular scope, she peered out into the station to see who she may be up against, and seeing only a uniformed man sifting through store-goods. She was about to ready her pistol when she saw the device on his arm that marked him as an agent in the Division, and realized that he must be the one to have sent the message.

Taking a few obvious steps from cover, she approached him, keeping the light of the glow-sticks to her side so that she could fully view his features when he turned to see her. "Looking for anything particular?" she said, in a rather deadpan imitation of a store-clerk. "Or perhaps you are seeking someone? I am Genevieve, agent of the Division, and that's all you get to know before I know your credentials."

Alex was ruffling through some clothes racks in a Macy's, looking through girls clothes he blinked as he had no idea what he was looking for as a girl came around the corner. Long dark hair with bright green eyes she looked up holding a mountain of clothes "I think this should do!" she said as Alex looked down blinking "we came here for a coat...a Coat" he drew the word out as she tossed the clothes up in the air "Fine!" she said turning and looking through coats. Alex swore under his breath as he heard a groan from the corner. He looked over and walked as a man was dragging him self on the floor, holding his side as there was a gun shot wound in his stomach. "oh hey, your a live. You know, I am slowly realizing why I never had kids myself" he said shrugging "your lucky you don't have to deal with this" The man coughed up some blood "Fuck you.." he said weakly as Alex walked up pushing his hand against the mans mouth "Shhhh, language" he said as he snapped the mans neck. A quicker death then a shot to the stomach, Alex was a sociopath, not a sadist. He dragged the body back around the corner of the counter and threw it back onto the pile of about six gang members.

"Hey Alex what are you doing?" he heard the girl say as he stood up smiling "oh nothing, just thought I heard something" he said looking at her as she now had on a large coat. "See that should keep you warm through the winter" he said as she put a hand on her hip "yea, whatever." she said turning back away from him. He had to admit that girl was brave, her parents most likely dead he found her wandering around. After a few days she was tested negative for the virus and has been fallowing him around and living with him in his safe house. He walked around when his wrist started blinking.

"Division agents, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. Repeat, meet at the Grand Central Terminal for a meeting. You may not come, if you don't want to."

He shrugged as he wasn't to far from there anyways as he moved over to the girl. He knew he should of left her at the safe house, but she didn't want to stay coped up there. Finding her looking through some clothes racks he looked at her "we're moving out" he said as she looked at him "Aye aye sir!" she said as he rolled his eyes "that's navy...I was a marine, and now i'm division" He said turning "so I'm supposed to just grunt? UGH!!" she said as he shook his head. How the hell did he get into this mess he through as he pulled up his map on his arm up, he was considering taking her back to the safe house, but a quarantine zone was closer. Though both would take some time to get there. He shrugged as she seemed to be good at hiding, and even stayed quite when they were moving through the streets. "Ok, were moving out" he said raising that cheytech rifle of his "why don't I get a gun" he heard behind him as he only replied with a "shh".

They moved through the street with ease, before he stopped, there was a small group, maybe three gang members a block a head as she moved and slid behind a car as Claudia was close behind getting low. He turned around the corner and watched them go into a store. Normally he would engage, but not with her here. He pointed to a car across the street and moved quickly while they were in the store as he turned around then went down a back ally. It was small as the pair moved, he kept his rifle raised, checking around corners and going a head as she fallowed behind him hiding when he stopped and moving when he singled. Claudia thought it was all silly, but the only way he would let her out is if she fallowed these instructions, and after spending days in that safe house she wanted out so she complied.

It didn't take long before grand central station was in view and he moved to go behind it, Walking in the ally he found a back service door and opened it slowly, peering through it as he did before softly pushing it and then checking the other side to make sure it was clear. He waved as Claudia fallowed "what is this place?" she asked as he looked at her "it's grand central station" He said as she looked around "oh yea" she said as he looked at her, She didn't talk about her past, which was fine with him cause he didn't really either, but how does she not know what grand Central station is? he pushed that aside for now as they started walking as he lowered his rifle and pulled out his M1911 silenced pistol and he moved through the back halls fallowing the signs to the meeting spot. Once he was getting close he opened a door into the main hall. "be quite" he said as she looked at him rolling his eyes "why am I going...Whoa" she walked out looking around at the main area of the place. Her eyes wide with amazement as suddenly Alex heard some one, Lifting a hand up he put a finger to his mouth as she crouched down and he moved forward, he lifted his arm up bringing up that holographic map, and pushed a button, it showed near by division agents, tracking through the wrist bands as he stood up seeing him self, and two others just around the corner as well as a third also near by as he looked over in the direction but he, or she, seemed to be hiding.

Turning the corner he had his gun down and looked at Robert and the girl who was just introducing her self as Geneviere "well this seems like a regular party now doesn't it ?" he said holding up his arm band to show he was Division, for some reason people thought the mohawk having, tattooed covered man was gang member a lot. Cluadia peeked her head around the corner as Alex looked back "it's safe" he said as she rounded the corner and walked up to "I'm Claudia, and Mr. Mohawk here is Alex, we are with division" she said as He looked at her and she turned "what you were being rude not introducing your self, one of us has to have manners" she said smiling holding her hand out to shake roberts "whats your name?". Alex rolled his eyes " "I" Am a member of division, "you" are my personal thorn" he said before looking over to where the other was hiding "you might as well come out as well" he said shouting looking over the the hiding person.

Robert looked around the station before hearing a woman's voice, whose name was Genevieve and wanted to know more about him. He turned after hearing her name and said, "You must of had a Catholic family because of-. Anyway, I'm getting off topic, I'm Robert and I'm one of the leaders within New York City.". Genevieve looked like she was ready for the zombies to pop out of the group any minute. Robert said, "Why are you packed? Looking for the zombies?" and he walked around with his M16 and looked at her weapons, "You have good weapons, miss.". He heard another woman's voice waiting for a confirm message and said, "Got, just get here as fast as you can." and turned back to her and said, "Two more are coming, guess we aren't alone.". He then saw a girl, saying her name and a man's name to the group, almost gave Robert a heart attack and said, "Hello Cluadia, I'm Robert and this is Genevieve.". He saw a man, Robert thought he was in a gang until he saw the device, and he walked to him and said, "I'm Robert and this here is Genevieve.".

The kid had a kind heart, but Alex on the other hand had an evil heart. He heard he said to the girl that she wasn't a Division, it made Robert looked at him oddly for a second, then he held a gun towards a person, hiding. Robert pushed down Alex's gun and walked up to the person, which he saw the device and said, "My name is Robert, you don't have to hide for us.". "This is Geneveve, Alex, and the kid is Cluadia." said Robert after she had came out of her hide spot.
