Bane shook his head and said “not really. Jedi tend to go off to train or mediate or things like that. When megara was first named a master, she went off for two years before the council finally heard from her. That’s when her other gifts of the force showed up…”

Megara walked in at hat moment and said “alright, here’s the deal. I need you two to stay with the ship while I go with the troopers to collect the holocron. Bane will be nearby as well keeping a tab on things.” She moved and knelt down so she was eye level with the young ones. “I really need you two to stay here. I’m not benching you. I have a feeling Kissimi will come to the ship once we touch down and she feels the brown wolf. I will take the troopers so she’s not in danger. You will make sure the wolf is reunited with his pack and stay on comms in case we need emergency pick up. Pira knows the controls as well as Bane so chase can help with the situation at need. Any questions?”

Pira listened intently before smiling a little before saying, “One. Am I in charge or is Chase? Because we all know how Chase being in charge will end.” She was clearly teasing her brother with the last comment, but her question was serious.

“Pira!” Chase looked mock offended. Pira just smiled.

The brown wolf also listened, and offered a quiet huff. He’d woken up at some point. He seemed like he had a question as well, that being why in the world he wasn’t told clones had to come, but he could not voice it as he was a dog and not a human.

Megara looked at the wolf and said “the council wouldn’t let us come alone. I think they fear I’m taking too many risks as of late. But I’ll handle them. You’re both in charge. Pira on the ships controls ans chase on recon and keeping in touch with me on what’s going on.”

Pira nodded. "That works." She seemed a bit reluctant to share charge with her brother but knew it was for the better. Chase nodded. The wolf barked suddenly, pacing. Something had set him off, but it was unclear as to what. Nobody really was around except those on the ship...

The wolf snapped at Megara, getting up and circling before sniffing about the ship. There was nobody there, but quickly the ship received a message over comms that there was a stray "merchant" ship taking enemy fire that had put out a distress beacon. There had been attempts to identify the ship, but those attempts had proved futile. The wolf flopped down with a half howl. Pira went to the wolf, offering him her hand. When he snapped at her, she put a hand on his muzzle. He settled down a bit. "What's wrong, wolf?" Pira asked gently. The wolf whined. Chase was being effectively useless, unsure of what to do.

The wolf, knowing he needed to make himself clear, decided to play along with Megara. He responded by baring his fangs and doing a little snap at Pira. Pira flinched a little and he licked her to try and make her feel better. He realized he probably just accidentally gave mixed signals and huffed, getting up, circling once, then putting his paws up on the console and barking. He wasn't sure which button or dial changed the comm channel, but he knew the frequency he wanted. He'd been trained with that much.

He eventually stopped her and a weak feed came through. It was a man’s voice, but the wolf whined with distress. “Anyone… friends of Casey… attacked… life supports out… anyone copy…” The wolf whined and yipped. He should have known. Kissimi would have sent a ship up to check on him if he was gone for too long, no matter the danger. Or at least that’s what he hoped was happening.

The clones came in. The wolf gave an annoyed whine. He realized that Megara might not know about Kissimi’s alias that she kept when on Lothal. He looked to Pira and Chase, cocking his head. Chase studied the wolf then said quietly, “Casey is Kissimi’s alias. Casey Rivers.”

Meanwhile, the radio had faded to static.
