Appearance:
Akira is of average height for a female. Her skin is navy blue and on the first glance, it looks like she has ornaments and runes tattooed on with Indigo ink. On the second look, it can be seen the patterns are actually formed by scars, too precise to have not been intentional. Her ancient armor used to have the same dark blue color with silver trim, but it has lost most of it’s beauty, now being a dull gray. Her body is slim after the long period of inactivity. Overall, she would be very beautiful for her age if she was in top condition, but her beauty is greatly diminished by the damage. Her mask had inverted colors of her armor, silver with navy trim, but now it's likewise matte gray. She also hates salty water, having built in goggles in her mask.

Backstory:
Forgotten. Tohi has lost all of her episodic memories, erasing her past. All that is known is that she was found unearthed after a nasty storm on the beaches near Ora-Koro. Given how deep she was found in the sands of the beach, she must have been on Avsa Nui before the Matoran ever made landfall there.

Name: Fiera

Appearance:
Fiera is not average Ta - Matoran as far as looks go. She is very tall, taller than some of her male colleagues. What one notices about her is her strength. Her body is muscular and everyone can see she will give and take harder punches than others. Her body is completely obsidian black, only her Hau is a deep crimson.

Backstory:
In her youth, Fiera soon realized she would be no scientist. What she lacked in brain, though, she made up for in brawn, and she was one of the first volunteers to join the voyage to Avsa Nui, where she became a guard, albeit one without any chance of ever reaching officer ranks. She moved through the field ranks though, as her battle skills were rather impressive. She had a simple life, though not by choice - as a low ranked guard she just neither had the money nor was allowed to travel the island much.

That said, she always lacked the sense of belonging. Almost as soon as the settlement was created and she started patrolling, she was drawn to other parts of the island, although never allowed to go. Once upon a time, she had an accident with a boat’s fastening rope while patrolling in the docks, which resulted in a rather hilarious episode of being dragged through the waters by the Ga-Matoran fishers. Strangely, that was her cue to learn to swim, one of the few Ta-Matoran to do so, something that is much appreciated by the Guard Captain, as Fiera can be sent on boat with the fishers to protect them from Rahi attacks at sea.

Personality:
Being rather huge compared to her peers, Fiera always attracted attention, both wanted and unwanted. As such, she developed a friendly personality, despite being a blunt instrument. Her life in the guard made her disciplined. She is not easily distracted and obeys her commander without ever questioning the orders, as she has enough sense to know she wouldn't come up with anything better. She is, however, rather dumb. Fiera makes up for it with stubborn determination and grit. As a fire elemental, she is emotional and choleric, although it takes a lot to set her off due to her guard discipline. That said… She is a bit of a jerk that likes to prank others.

History:

Ahkmou keeps his history prior to arriving on Avsa Nui a secret. Not part of the original effort, he arrived a few centuries ago, alone on a boat - A feat unthinkable to any other Po-Matoran on the island, if they had any other choice. When inquired about his origins, he merely stated that thinking of his former home brought back only bitterness, and that he was looking to start a new life as far away from his home as possible.

He has quickly adapted to the life on Avsa Nui, selling his boat for a Mukau drawn cart and over a night becoming a traveling merchant. He frequently leaves Ora-koro to gather raw materials for sale, and when in the Koro, he will offer to move people along with the goods. If he owns a home, noone knows where it is, the po-matoran preferring to be, in his own words, tied to no place and not being told what to do.

Backstory:

Rosta has once been a matoran musician. His life changed drastically when he received his powers once the Toa of their home have achieved their destiny. He has spent much time protecting his home since, having to deal both with dangerous foes and hazardous weather of his rather savage homeland. After a long life, he has achieved his destiny, saving his home village from a massive attach by a sentient plant. After sacrificing his toa Power to heal the wounded matoran and create three new Toa to protect the land, he set off to live the rest of his days in solitude. He eventually settled on Avsa Nui, unbeknownst to any other of its inhabitants. Compared to the wilderness of his home, the wilds of the Island of Hunger seem like a vacation resort.

Personality:

The old Turaga does not seek company of others, having have had enough of it in his life. He strongly objected to joining the village elders of his homeland, feeling like there would have been too many wise elders for such a small village, and he would not wish that headache on any matoran. That said, he would not shun away any company, should someone find him in his new home. After all, if someone braved the wilds of Avsa Nui that far, they would deserve being taught how to survive in them by the old turaga.

Personality: A calm and level-headed individual, Ranga puts the Matoran of Ora-Koro before himself. He is patient, with years of experience put to use leading the Matoran. Though a realist at the end of the day, he does his best to see the world through "glass half-full" lenses. Aside from supervising the Expeditionary Guild, he occasionally helps to repair masks, weapons, and tools.
Backstory: Long ago, Ranga was a Toa of Fire, working alongside his teammates Watiri and Nongu to protect Matoran across the universe. They eventually settled down on a particular island, and gave up their Toa Power, becoming Turaga. For some time, the island they lived on was peaceful. That all changed when six warlords attacked, enslaving Matoran to serve their own goals. The only option was to flee, and so the Matoran and Turaga left the island on a boat. Time went by and they arrived on Avsa Nui.

Personality: While Le-Matoran are usually quite cheerful and excitable, but Nongu's time as a Toa has sobered him. He has seen so much good and bad in the world, and he's come to view the world from seemingly opposing angles in order to see the facts at the heart of a matter. Being in charge of the village's supplies, his mind is often focused on numbers and the needs and wants of the Matoran.
Backstory: At one point a simple messenger on his home island, Nongu became a Toa alongside Ranga and Watiri, protecting Matoran across the universe before settling down on a particular island and becoming Turaga. On Avsa Nui, he is in charge of Ora-Koro's provisions, and he can be found busying himself in the village.

Personality: With a tongue as sharp as her wit, Watiri has long had a strong protective instinct towards the Matoran. She taught most of Ora-Koro how to defend themselves. When she was younger Watiri was fiery and hotheaded, and often came to butt heads with Nongu, though nowadays verbal combat between the two tends to be friendly.
Backstory: For as long as Watiri has remembered, she has been a warrior. On her original home island she was a member of the village guard, and was often tasked with keeping the Matoran safe from outside threats like Rahi. When she became a Toa she was excited, and dove headfirst into her duties. However she quickly came to learn that being a Toa wasn't all glory and acts of heroism. Sometimes it was as simple as settling disputes between Matoran, or getting a pet Rahi out of a tree. Time and experience have tempered her... well, temper, and by the time she became a Turaga, she had enough experience under her belt to guide the Matoran in their endeavors. In Ora-Koro she acts as an advisor to the captain of the guard, and advises her in the best ways to protect the village.
