Ink, like love, stains without asking.

Hey.

You can call me Ink, Inky, or pretty much anything else you want.

I’m mostly just here to write stories that feel like something—soft ones, slow ones, aching ones. The kind where you don’t realize your characters are in love until it hurts to watch them talk to other people. The kind where romance is the thread, even if the world around it is unraveling.

I like characters who flinch when someone touches them gently.

I like moments that feel stolen.

I like words that say too much and not enough all at once.

If that sounds like your kind of mess, maybe keep reading.

  • I write original characters in stories where romance is at the center
  • I prefer MxF, but I’m open to FxF depending on the vibe
  • I strongly prefer to write male characters. I will write female characters but please ask before we start plotting so there isn't confusion as to who is doing what role.
  • My writing style is multi-paragraph, sometimes novella when I’m really into it
  • I post 2–3 times a week
  • Colored dialogue helps me stay organized, but you don’t have to match me
  • I love OOC chat and collaborative plotting—give me playlists, Pinterest boards, late-night headcanon rants

I’m drawn to:

  • Slow-burn romance
  • Emotionally complex relationships
  • Small-town nostalgia, rainy apartments, old letters
  • Characters who don’t know how to say “I love you” so they show it instead
  • Modern settings, historical vibes, and stories with just a hint of something otherworldly

Anything I am particularly craving will be in blue. I typically prefer to write male characters but am happy to double etc or switch it up if need be. Anything crossed out is not currently open.

Historical

  • The Spare Heir - The second son becomes heir to the throne after his brother abdicates. Suddenly, he’s the crown’s most eligible bachelor—but he has no interest in being chosen like a prize.
  • Letters Never Sent - They were pen pals during the war. Then the letters stopped. Now he’s back, and she’s not sure he’s the same man she wrote to.

Slice of Life/Modern

  • Where You Left Me — He left home to chase fame and never knew she was pregnant. Now he’s back for his father’s funeral and she’s still there—with a child his parents never told him about.
  • One Last Summer — She’s leaving in August. He’s her favorite mistake. And neither of them is ready to say goodbye.
  • Field Note on Falling - When a travel blogger’s van breaks down outside a third-generation cattle ranch, she’s stuck waiting for parts—and local goodwill—to get her moving again. The rancher’s daughter isn’t impressed. She’s seen people treat their way of life like a backdrop for content before. But as chores get shared, fences get mended, and quiet evenings stretch into something warmer, neither can ignore the pull. There’s grit and grace in learning each other’s rhythms—and in choosing to stay when you could run.
  • Room for Rent - She needed a roommate to help cover rent. He needed a place to start over. On paper, they don’t make sense—she’s organized to a fault, he’s a little chaotic and a lot charming. But between late-night takeout, shared laundry disasters, and accidental heart-to-hearts over morning coffee, they start to fit. Not perfectly. But perfectly enough. A story about mismatched lives coming into sync, and the quiet magic of building something worth keeping.

Soft Post-Apocalyptic

  • The Quiet Zone — He smuggled her out of a government compound. She thinks it was for her. It wasn’t.
  • Dead Frequencies — She hears a voice over the radio. He answers. Neither of them believes in fate, but something’s pulling them closer.

NEW PLOTS

I'm Not the Right Fit if You Want

  • Non-human characters (some exceptions - but I'm not into beast smut)
  • High fantasy or detailed magic systems
  • Gore or horror-focused stories (it's fine for these elements to be included but should serve a purpose)
  • Anything purely smut-driven

I Am the Right Fit If You Want:

  • Characters who are soft with each other (eventually)
  • Romantic tension that’s painfully slow
  • Hand flexes, rainy conversations, emotional intimacy
  • Writing that leans into longing, not just lust
  • Someone who will scream in the DMs with you about our characters at 2am

If something in here feels like a story you’ve wanted to tell—send me a message.
We can make something beautiful.
Or painful.
Or both.

Until then, I’ll be here… writing in the margins.

Oof. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is my favorite manga and...oof.

If you're still looking, how long after the apocalypse does Dead Frequencies take place?

Find myself drawn to this concept. Would you still be interesting in playing it out?
