History:
Zara’s father was killed in a territory battle between clans, leaving her mother completely beside herself, a shell of the strong warrior she was before. This left Zara to raise herself from 7 years old. Eventually, she came home from school one day and saw her mother…hanging in the kitchen.
She was taken in by another family, her aunt and uncle Tarro. They were harsh, cruel, everything her clan is meant to be, but Zara couldn’t tear herself away from the compassion that has kept her strong. So, she was traded into slavery for some silver and furs. This left quite the mark on her, and she is more quiet and reserved than before.
She works hard, but tries to never be unkind or think hate filled thoughts.

The Reason You Are in Your Rank: She grew up in the clan, the only daughter of one of the main fishermen in the clan. She is still learning the trade, working closely to her father
History: River grew up in a happy family, even if the state of the clan wasn't the best. Part of a very closed off community, she has never known much about the other clans or anything out of her little place in the world. Her life was her parents and her fishing trips, the silence filled with only the sounds of waves and the water moving, her only excitement splashing others when playing in the water every summer. Problems started when she grew a little more, the stress and solitude of the clan more notorious, but still a known commodity. When the attacks started was when everything changed. Her mother being killed in a battle, now she is far more close to her father, always anxious when he is out fishing for longer. She is learning the trade, not really knowing that she could do something different if she wanted to.
