Final fantasy interest?

Anyone interested in Final Fantasy 7 RP? That's because I have not played others except XV.

A Roleplay could be somewhat central to Shinra Company, the time before Sephiroth got insane. Likely a time when they were still much younger senior teenagers or something like that. This could be about taking missions, training to be stronger, and their personal relationship.

It could be with Canon and Oc characters.

I mean I'm interested in an FF RP, but preferably one built upon a more original world/setting. Like take the core mechanics and themes of FF but make it our own.

This could be canon and oc rp, likely canon world with that canon company, + other things, or characters if anyone wants to make them, but it could be oc characters and stories made by the roleplayers.

I might be interested but I tend to mainly write characters from games such as II, XII, and V. Given VII’s more modern setting, it might end up with some more comedic moments especially given how it’s only VII and XV with more modern style worlds.

Everything else just has Medieval Fantasy worlds or whatever the heck XII anr VI’s worlds are.

Would that be alright or would I need to make an OC?

I'm very much the opposite. I find the modern settings of VII and XV more appealing. I'm a sucker for urban fantasy. FFX is also up my alley for the ancient, condemned tech.

Still, I'd rather craft an original FF concept over RPing something that already exists in a game. The exception being if it's like a reboot where OCs replace the canon characters, or something like FFXV Comrades where we're operating within a time skip; I was in a Legend of Zelda RP like that a while back.

I don't mind if characters from other ff games, I am all open to make a crosscover ff RP too. I don't know those series that much either than was Lightning on XII. Never played the game bu I like the character a lot.

Just to let you know, XIII’s story is divided into three games. You’d need to play XIII, XIII-2, and Lightning Returns for the whole story.

Also, I don’t blame you. She’s a complete badass and is proud of it.

If we were to create a whole new setting, would it have some similarities to the Dissidia games or something completely different?

I see, I am not thinking about the background world that much, but it could be...warriors, soldiers, mechanized weapons, robots, demons, beasts, etc. I think that's very common with all the games.

The demons, dragons, warriors, soldiers, beasts, mages, and all them are a staple of the series along with chocobos… there always has to be chocobos.

I have not seen a single Final Fantasy game aside from the first one without chocobos.
