Looking for something with my character Chris. He is a young man that was on the track to being a top racer before another racer caused a crash that nearly killed Chris. The setting for this would be futuristic with space travel, alien races, and the races are with hover cars. (That can be adjusted a little just what I had in mind.) At the very least in the beginning Chris will be an ex-racer. He'll be going from port to port hauling freight and acting as a mechanic while in port. Now I have a few ideas though none are overly detailed and can be adjusted.
Could be YC is an up and coming racer (or hoping to be) and they run into Chris and he ends up helping them.
Maybe Chris hauls freight for YC or even has to transport YC with the freight or something like that.
Could be YC is helping Chris back into racing somehow, talk him into it, or something comes up where he has to win a race to get money or save a buisness or building.
