I’ve been roleplaying on and off for almost 10 years now, though never on a roleplay-dedicated forum like RPG! Most of my experience comes from various random sites and online games. It’s always been something that’s brought me joy, even in super casual settings. Admittedly, it’s been a while since I last took it up as a hobby, so I’ll definitely be a little clueless at first (apologies in advance!)... but I’m eager to learn the ropes again.

Mostly, I’m looking for an outlet for creative writing, which is something I find immense joy in. I looove crafting flowery, evocative descriptions and memorable, defining character moments. Really, any chance to weave words into beautiful prose.

Odyssey-style action-adventures are my favourites, closely followed by cosy slice-of-life. I especially enjoy group roleplays where I can just sort of do my own thing. I have a strong preference for playing existing characters – particularly from franchises I love (mostly video games) – over original ones. It just feels like pure escapism to me that way.

I’m in the GMT timezone (currently GMT+1 due to daylight savings). I work full-time, so my availability during the week is limited, but you can expect me to pop in at the end of the day or during a lucky lunch break.

I’ll admit I’ve been browsing the site for a little while, and I already have a roleplay in mind I’d like to join, so I’ll be submitting an application soon. That said, please feel free to say hi or share any advice or recommendations you have for me, I’d heartfully appreciate it!

@qp hey there and welcome! I think the preference for this forum is OCs, but there are definitely a few group RPs where you can play a canon character! Not to mention 1x1s of course.

Thankfully, I sort of know my way around BBCode from another site I used to hang around on that used it. Your welcome, and, wow... I didn’t know you took inspo from my sheet. Now I feel flattered (>⩊<)

Quite honestly, that was the first sheet I’ve ever made on this site, so I guess you can tell the crappy quality of the pics because, really, I thought bigger pics wouldn’t have been resized once uploaded. Lol. I did think of updating it sometime later and kinda just replacing the blurry pics with sharper ones.

But anyways, hope to see Terry and Marie cross paths down the line. Right now, Terry’s in Esaka if you’re wondering. You can have Marie catch up with him there if she’s nearby (^_^)
