Delgren smiles some hearing Kilona accept the offer. "Good once Yori returns with the others we will proced into the tunnel. Any preparations you need to make do so now. I do not expect the perpetrators to be in there, however that does not exclude them from setting traps to cover their trail." He said before stretching his arms out to eliminate some stiffness. He sets his spear and shield to the side briefly to check through his own gear to make sure he had what he may need. Out of a small pouch he removed a crystal and affixed to shaft of his spear. He tapped it twice it began to emanate a dim light that made seeing inside the tunnel easier. Once the crystal was lit up, Delgren stuck into the passage to peer further into it. A few seconds passed before he pulls the spear out and impatiently paced while waiting for the others to arrive. Soon after he started to pace, the human returns with two other humans, and a stout looking dwarf. After giving directions to them, Delgren heads over to the tunnel motioning to Kilona. Once ready he hands Kilona a small crystal similar to the one affixed to his spear. "Here, incase we get separated this crystal can emit light for a few hours. Nothing special needed, just tap it twice to activate it. I've found it useful when traveling through tunnels where things might be hidden or obscured and light is needed to help. It can be used more than once, it just takes a day or so. Are you ready?"

Kilona nods, and she takes a moment to check her gear while Delgren does so. She doubted there was anything she'd need and could buy with only 15 gold. Plus, she hadn't really lost or damaged anything since she left home. So, suffice to say, she was confident that she was ready for what's ahead.

Sure enough, as soon as the others arrived, and Delgren gave them instructions, he waved her over. She approached, and he handed her a strange crystal. While she can see in the dark pretty well, she does accept the crystal with a "Thanks," She listened to his explanation of how to use the crystal and what it does. When he asked if she was ready, she answers him, "I'm ready. Let's get going,"

Delgren walked to the edge of the tunnel, stopping briefly to tap the crystal. Once the crystal was illuminated, he stuck the spear tip ahead of him and slowly started to walk down the tunnel. The tunnel is fairly straight and has only the slightest of a decline. It only took fifteen minutes for them to find the end of the tunnel. In front of them were several boards blocking the way through.

Delgren tapped the crystal and turned the light off before trying to peer out between the boards. "It appears that this goes into one of the shafts in the mine. From what I can see it's a fairly small area. Let me see if I can get these boards out of the way..." He muttered before starting to push on the boards.

The kobold seems to be pushing against with little success for as much effort as he is putting into it.

Kilona followed Delgren down the tunnel. After fifteen minutes of crawling, they finally reached the end of the tunnel, where the boards blocked their way. Kilona looks carefully at the boards while Delgren pushes at them. She can see that he is going to need help getting the boards out of the way. She notices that he is pushing against the boards, when he should be pulling them instead. She speaks up to him, "Here, let me help,"

She stretches her arms over Delgren, and grabs a board with both hands. She instructs him, "Alright, pull!" She then pulls at the boards and proceeds to remove them one by one with Delgren's help.

The boards initially did not move. Once Kilona and Delgren had maneuvered themselves into better positions, the boards came loose and they were able to get through. The next room seems to be a side tunnel in the cavern that was being used as a mine.

Delgren looks over the area looking for anything familiar to him. "I do not recognize this area." he pokes around a few piles of stone with the butt of his spear. This is likely part of the mine we started. There were a few natural tunnels that led to the outside from different points. I know we expanded some of it quarrying stone for homes and defenses. Unfortunately I do not spend much time in the mines and we will need to be careful as we go on. I'm not sure which way would lead us out of here aside from that hole." he gestures to the tunnel the to had just come out of. "Let me know if you find anything."

Kilona listens to Delgren as she scans the area and she kneels down to inspect the ground. She squints at the dust and she looks down towards the right tunnel. She answers Delgren immediately after he made his request, "There are footprints of various sizes in this dust. The rocks here are likely from the tunnel's creation. Whoever left the footprints behind have been consistently using the right tunnel. I can't reliably say if that's the exit or not,"

She looks to Delgren to see what he wanted to do with that information.
