Bloodsteel listened, and he alone fought against criminals all over the south of the United States and north of Mexico, eventually becoming the latest addition to The Big 5 after the mysterious death of their previous member, Captain Touchdown.

Lady was destined to glory, so it wasn't a surprise when she revealed that she was going to become a full-on crime fighter, soon after two years of working without the support of the government. Lady became number #4 of "The Big 5", although with the death of Captain Touchdown and the appearance of Eagle and Bloodsteel, she soon shifted to number #3, becoming one of the main faces of the team and the sole feminine member of the team. Although due to personal issues, she wants to change her title of Lady Firecracker to simply Lady.

No one knows where John came from; there's no birth date, no mother, no father, nothing. He just appeared one day in front of the white house naked and swore to protect the President until the end of his days. He seems to perfectly know all the history of the United States, down to the most mundane and minuscule of soldiers or generals. But, apart from that skill, he shows a very laidback and "silly" attitude. Since his appearance, John has become a symbol for (most of) America, going to special events organized by the government. And when the Big 5 formed, he was pitched to be the Number #1 Hero, which he clearly accepted. And since 2005, John has been the unofficial leader of the group and the strongest weapon available for the United States.

The Patriot

John is capable of growing stronger and faster the more patriotic he feels; this ability also enhances his fighting skills, giving them “visible” effects and making his named attacks do more damage than the unnamed ones. The Patriot uses a Patriotic Meter that goes from 0% to 100%

The Patriot also has different modes of use to enhance specific actions:

Barrage: Enhances reaction and combat speed. Allows the release of rapid attacks, although it lowers the defense and the overall effectiveness of the attack. But it can compensate for quantity over quality. It costs 5% to use for 1 minute.
Stone-Cold: Enhances durability. Allows for physical trauma up to 10 times the average. It lowers the attack potency and speed a lot, but it’s useful as a parrying ability. It costs 10% to use it for 1 minute.
Wrathful Patriot: Enhances attack and stamina. Gives a great growth in Strength and energy, allowing longer and more brutal attacks. The growth in Strength goes from 2-times to 12-times, although it’s the most tiring one, and it can lead to a complete draining of power. It costs 25% to use it for 1 minute.
