House Glycas is a bit of an oddity in the Ninehold. A remnant of a once proud people whose empire in Karthos has long since fallen. A house that itself and its people only came to their new home of Salt Spire centuries ago during a war within the Ninehold of Aethoria. Salt Spire was the reward for their help in said war, and since settling Salt Spire. They have proved to be an adaptable and hardy people. Doing what they can to survive while holding on to what old traditions they still have. While House Glycas is a clear example of this, even before earning control of Salt Spire. They are seen as what is left of a dead empire, but still one that is holding on despite the passage of time. The current lord of Salt Spire, Valens Glycas, a reserved and quiet man who has, despite his outward demeanor. Valens can be a passionate, if a secretive person. This showed during the war, though a supporter of Rowan during the conflict. He did so in secret by sabotaging and disrupting the royal fleet when he could, and he exposed his real allegiance during the final battle of the war. Since then, Lord Valens has been quiet on Salt Spire, investing what funds he has to improve the island while making contacts with the captains of the royal navy. However, unknown to most, Valens has plans for his house and is patiently biding his time to amass both wealth and power while steering his house towards a better life. Lady Psella, while the opposite of Valens. She being open, expressive, and lively. Psella is one of the few who know who her husband really is and knows of his plans for the house. While she does support her husband in these endeavors. Psella has taken up the role of raising the family when he is busy. Inheriting his father's quiet nature and strive towards tradition. While not a lively as his younger brother, people mistake his quiet nature as harmless. This betrays his cunning and drive. Something that does surprise people once they get to know the real Arethas. Thanks to his father, Arethas was able to visit the other main interest of the island. He learned how to be a sailor and captain, along with the normal education a noble like him would have. What Arethas wants the most is to make his father proud and bring prestige to the family name. More so, while he is at the capital, where he is on display for all to see. Arethas's only worry is what antics his brother will do and possibly harm the family's name. |

Those three minutes would define him as of lesser importance to his father's plans. Though given the same education as his older brother and the same privileges. Maurus realized that being second in line, he would never gain anything of value or worth. Which made him indifferent to the whole thing, and instead, he focused his efforts on personal projects. As in drinking, womanizing, and other fruitless activities. At least to the levels his father was willing to tolerate. Though beneath this visage lies an intelligence that seeks a challenge and an equal. Maybe he will find it in the capital. Or at least, find someone fun to spend some time with. |

Though with a hint of her father, and surprisingly, she can be quite secretive. Showing a second side to her. Like her brothers, she was given the same education as their father wanted, but unlike her brothers. Ionnia has an interest in knowledge and people. Wanting to know how people tick and what compels them. Along with seeking to learn more about the bonds that connect people, the good and the bad. She does not know what to expect during her stay at the capital and simply hopes it will be a good time for her. |

Fist of the Maker - Keten uses his force magic to slam down enemies in an area with force magic. Pinning them to the ground and causing damage in the process. Tidal Wave - Keten uses his force magic to create a wave of force energy that sweeps across the battlefield. Knocking down anyone in its range and causing damage in the process. Talents: Staff Fighter - Keten has learned how to fight with his staff and thus can more easily fight and be more effective in close quarters. Biography: Keten was born on the road somewhere in Ferelden. His parents were Tal-Vashoth who managed to escape the Ben-Hassrath and fled as far south as possible. Eventually settling in the capital city of Ferelden, Denerim, after six years of traveling. Growing up for Keten was different, to say the least. His father worked as a mercenary while his mother stayed home to take care of Keten. His only friends growing up were two city elves, Carcen and Firana, who with three would often spent time together. He was more open about learning and adapting to human culture than his parents and was curious to learn about humans and elves. Then, when he was eight, the unthinkable happened. Ben-Hassrath agents discovered them, and a fight ensued. While Keten's parents would win the fight, his mother ended up dying of her wounds, and after the two mourned her. Keten and Keten's father, chose, after this shock, they take up travelling with a mercenary group and never stay in one place for too long and Keten had to say goodbye to his friends. After Denerim, Keten traveled with his father with his mercenary company and showed that he could use magic. His father had his friend and one of the company's mages to teach him on how to use magic. His teacher, a middle-aged Antivan human mage named Sofia Avonal. She taught him how to protect himself from being possessed by demons and everything else she knew about magic. Becoming a proper mage and loved to get in the thick of battle. Which during this time, Keten was taught by his father about the Qun and the Qunari. To better explain why the Ben-Hassrath attacked them in Denerim. He would come to hate the Qun, as he did not agree with its philosophy and them forcing others to convert to the Qun. Along with what they do, their mages and Keten for a time. Would have nightmares about his fate if brought to Par Vollen. So in order to establish an identity for himself, far from the Qun. Keten got himself several tattoos on his body and would use a surname. Rather than take a random human surname, Keten created one by combining the names of his parents, Jarok and Ozul into Jarul. When he became an adult, Keten would officially join his father's mercenary company, the Iron Claws, and went along on many jobs for them. Keten, during his time as a mercenary, he fell in love with a new recruit. A Dalish woman named Lahra as the two naturally connected with each other. Though this bliss would not last, as one day during a hard job. Lahra was killed, and Keten was left devastated by her death. Though his father and the other members of the Iron Claws tried to comfort him. This lead to Keten rethinking things and his place in life. After much thought and seeing how his love died ultimately for some coin. This caused Keten not to want to waste his life fighting for gold. He felt like something was missing in his life, and he would end up leaving the Iron Claws. His father did not wish for him to leave, but understood what his son was going through and wished him good luck on his travels. So for a bit, he travelled on his own, trying to think of something that would please his heart and soul. A cause that he could take pride in fighting for and finding purpose in his life. But, to him, no such cause existed, and so he wandered and walked around Thedas. But, as he wandered and thought, did the signs of another Blight appear around the continent. Keten expected the Grey Wardens to appear and combat the threat, but when he noticed that the Grey Wardens were seemingly missing. He was concerned about what would happen if the Grey Wardens did not stop the Blight. When he heard of a mercenary group that was fighting the Blight. Keten knew what had to do and joined up with the band. To both fight the Blight and figure out what happened to the Grey Wardens in the process. But mainly to maybe finally fight for a cause that he can believe in. Homeland: Ferelden Motivation: To figure out what happened to the Grey Wardens and help save the world. Along with finding purpose in his life, and find a cause he can proudly fight for and believe in. Relations: Yes, Keten had one love during his life, a Dalish elf named Lahra. She was killed during a mission with the Iron Claws, and it was hard for Keten after her death. Along with his father Jarok, who is still alive and the mercenary band his father belongs to that Keten used to be in, the Iron Claws is still active. While he has not seen his old city elf friends in years, Carcen and Firana. He does not know what became of them, and maybe he would see them again during his travels. Defended the planet from evil alongside his best friend, Andros. But when a centuries-old evil, the Death Ranger Spa'ark, breaks free from their prison and starts wrecking havoc on the planet. Zhane and the Rangers are called, and while they manage to kill the Death Ranger. This only caused Spa'ark to possess the closest Ranger, which happens to be Zhane. Which, while possessed by Spa'ark. They kill most of the team, and Andros dies freeing Zhane from Spa'ark's control. Only for Spa'ark to possess Andros's dead body. After the fight, Spa'ark flees, stealing a spaceship and eventually crashing on Earth. Now with his team dead and his best friend's dead body possessed. Zhane, after recovering and tracking down Spa'ark to Earth. He heads to Earth to stop Spa'ark once and for all and to avenge his team and friends. Not knowing what to expect on the planet, but Zhane has a mission, and he will do it or die trying. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) I wanted to play Zhane and a Power Ranger since I have a renewed interest in Power Rangers thanks to this site, and I have been wanting to tell a mature Power Ranger story on this site for some time. So after reading the Power Rangers wiki and doing research of the Power Ranger Comics. I found my muse and went with characters that I feel would help me the most, and ones I like. But since I am playing a Power Ranger, I am not bringing everything from the show into the rp. There will be no zords or anything like that. Just a lone Ranger from another planet trying to stop another evil Ranger. Which I plan while Zhane is trying to stop Spa'ark and avenge his team. He can still help others and do crossovers with others as he travels around the United States and maybe the world, tracking down an evil Ranger who is essentially a necromancer who seeks to stop death by controlling it. Meeting and helping other heroes in the process. Maybe even gain an enemy, it depends on who he meets and who he manages to piss off. Bringing an unexpected Power Ranger angle into the rp and one I hope people like. |
