I have been a writer (hobbyist and by profession) for over 15 years and have role-played for most of that time (albeit on and off, as life has pulled me away from time to time). I won't share much more about myself on here, as I'd prefer to share any other details in private— perhaps over a discussion about our next RP Story. Recently, after a long hiatus, I've been drawn back into the world of cooperative storytelling. Roleplay for me means: creative exploration, creative expression, community, and an escape from the mundane! I've met many interesting people and made some good friends over the years through role-playing, and I look forward to meeting more writers & roleplayers on here.
My current genre of choice is modern dark romance & crime thrillers. I enjoy smut as much as the next person, but I firmly believe that without plot, smut isn't nearly as fun. It should be earned. The steady, purposeful layering of the plot and subplots, along with the building of character arcs, makes those intimate scenes so much sweeter. Below are a few details about my style of RPing and tropes/character dynamics I'm curious to explore with a willing partner.
