Black Hollow wasn't on most maps.

The people who lived there preferred it that way.

Nestled between endless forests and rolling hills, the town looked peaceful from a distance. Quaint storefronts. Friendly faces. Quiet streets.

But Black Hollow had a habit of swallowing people.

A hiker vanished three months ago.

A hunter disappeared two weeks later.

Last night, someone else failed to come home.

The sheriff called it a coincidence.

The locals called it bad luck.

And somewhere in town, the first storm of autumn was beginning to roll in
carrying with it a small group of youtubers

The old van rattled down the road, packed with camera equipment, snacks, and entirely too many people.
Kimberly had been driving for three hours.

Three.

Hours.

At this point she was one bad decision away from turning the vehicle around.
A loud crash erupted somewhere behind her.
Kimberly didn't even flinch.

"Okay."

A beat.

"What happened?"

Silence.

Her eyes narrowed.

"That was not reassuring silence."

Another glance in the rearview mirror.

"What. Happened."

More silence.
Kimberly sighed.
The sigh of a woman who already knew she wasn't going to like the answer.

"Is anyone bleeding?"

A pause.

"...Why are you all looking at each other?"

The van drifted around a bend in the road.
Kimberly tightened her grip on the steering wheel.

"For love of all that is holy, if one of you broke something before we even got to haunted town, I'm leaving you in woods."

I'm intrested in the rp, just need more info. What kinds of characters should we bring(besides them being youtubers)?

@Noideaforname Honestly, bring whoever you want! I'm pretty new at this too, so I'm not super strict about character types.

For the core group dynamics I'm imagining:

Kimberly (my OC): mom friend energy, constantly done with everyone's nonsense, but secretly cares about all of them. Also a badass Russian.
The cinnamon roll: somehow gets adopted by the entire group.
The emo/goth one: obsessed with creepy stuff and 100% believes the town is haunted.
The cryptic/suspicious one: mostly came along for the free trip and refuses to believe anything.

But if you already have a character you like, feel free to throw them in! More chaos is always welcome.

@Kimberly Characters should be normal human or fantasy species allowed? bc I have a character that could fit, just not human, nothing too OP I promise.

Fantasy species would be fine it would just be a normal part of this world if you really like the character it sounds cool and would be a good dynamic
