I have memory problems myself and have to set up lots of reminders on my phone to keep on top of everything and even then I have things slipped through the cracks. I have ADHD, but I also have Autism, so it's like my brain both goes at 200% speed, but also at the same time it goes at 50% speed. I get it, man. I specifically have to make sure that I have little reminders. And half the time they don't even work because I forget the reminders exist! While they're in plain view!

I just assume we all are, but I tend to focus on the things I actually like, and I'm used to faster-paced roleplay in general. I.e., not neccesarily forum roleplay, but chat-style roleplay

I struggle with that. I need time to think of what my character is going to say, and by that point the chat has moved on.

Chat based role-play is definitely faster paced, I haven't done that in years though. I, like Azure, need some time to wrap my head around how my character is going to respond. Especially if they are a different personality than I am. So with that and the occasional distraction pulling people away, I think our story is going to be at a slower pace. We can implement friendly reminders when it's someone's turn and it's been a few days though. Does that work?

I don't personally have ADHD or autism, but my best friend is autistic. My exposure to ADHD is what I've learned from Penn Holderness on YouTube. Power to you both though. And please, if there is anything I can do to help, just say so. I'd really like to make this a comfortable and creative environment.

Unfortunately, I haven't done much chat based roleplay. Many of the people I used to do it with either don't roleplay anymore or are too busy. I get it, but it's certainly a shame when I want to do something serious and I don't really know where to go or who to ask. Forum based stuff is nice though, nobody gets mad if it takes me a day or two to make a reply! :)

That's always the case, isn't it? I like to think of creativity like an engine, it takes a lot more energy to get it started, but once you got that rotor spinning, it's easier to keep it going!
