Fenrir, named after the Norse son of Loki, with the story of Fenrir the wolf being the wolf that devours Odin, the all father at Ragnarok. Fenrir was born of your typical royal lineage, a rich father picked a young bride at the young age of 21 and immediately had a child. When Fenrir was born, the red hair that his head bore was seen as both a curse and blessing from the gods, as red hair was rare among the family tree, having passed almost 5 generations since the last child with red hair was born. As Fenrir grew up, learning from the scholars and jesters of the realm, he learned that slight of hand has a big play in most situations. He became quite a thief for a moon or two, making a small name for himself at 10 as the King of Thieves... A title that would not live on in his older years.
As he grew, he had a growing fascination with Dragons. The way that the records say that they act, he even took the spare time to learn some three different words, the few recorded instances of draconic runes that were found in an excavated dragons lair now converted into a massive mine, His advisors and kings guards warned against his seemingly childish notions of love for dragons and forbade him from further study on them.
At the young age of 12, a court jester raised him like a son, teaching Fenrir the ways of being a leader and taking advice from people. At 13, Fenrir was taught about dragons and the humans side of the story, how dragons were beasts without mind and that they killed for fun. However... In the stories that were told, humans started every battle, traveling lair to lair and slaughtering dragons that lived in their own territories.. and Fenrir tried digging into the subject, becoming infatuated with the idea that not all dragons can be bad, just like humans... Yet there was no evidence to support his wild claims.
When he was 14, Fenrir was taught the common written language, and slowly was taught dwarven as his title would be in relations with both. He would often skip his dwarven classes to sneak about the kingdom, pilfering small wallets and fruits from passing carts, where he stumbled upon a scholar. The man looked crazed, like he was sick and incurable. But intrigued and with nothing better to do, Fenrir followed the old man. Which led him to a section under the city, and that is when Fenrir learned that the entire castle was built atop a massive yet empty dragons lair that had been emptied and mostly destroyed, strange markings and such burned off the walls from when the humans of long ago rid the entire place of dragons and the things they possessed. Every now and then. Wind from the entrance would flow by, carrying ashes that smelled of brimstone, and this is when Fenrir lost sight of the old man, and discovered, or more like tripped over a small burnt scroll? Which was mostly ruined and illegible... Except for a small section that made out a part of a cypher... Or so Fenrir guessed, as it had a small amount of common that said "E.....F......(Unintelligible)I....J..."
With matching symbols that seemed mostly charred but a few seemed legible.. mostly the e and the I... Not much else either made sense or looked related. But with this, Fenrir finally found his own wild theories to be more... Compelling. Like it could be true. Not all dragons could possibly be monsters... If such papers existed in a lair such as this...
He studied the paper for a long while, before the sound of approaching footsteps made him freeze, then look up to see torches, and men with masks running down from the entrance towards Fenrir. With nothing else to do, he drew his training sword... A flimsy metal rapier that could barely do anything, and prepared for anything. Only to be met with four masked individuals, all with handfuls of valuables like purses and rings.... And they stared at Fenrir closely. They looked him up and down, before realizing who he was and looking around to see if I was alone... Then pulled their own weapons out, and swung... But as blood was let as the thief cut Fenrirs left hand, a horn blew from the entrance, where a group of armed guards quickly ran in to face the thieves.
In the scuffle, one of the thieves were killed, and the rest retreated, the guards carrying me to safety and to patch up my now pinky-less hand, and that was the day Fenrir swore off thievery and deceit.
Now at 22 years of age, and still struggling in dwarvish language, this strong young man has been trained in combat, and looks the part. Muscular and strong, he weilds his massive greensteel greatsword, which he lovingly named Drako. He looks wise and aged, almost older than he looks, however do not let that fool you. He can be... Unpredictable at times. Being raised with jesters taught him much in the ways of jokes and effects, and has not learned to hold his tongue.

As the new lord of the land of Ravenloft, a city of The notorious Thieves Guild that used the underground tunnels made by a dragon to use as their home, as well as good mead and supplying gems, ores, and minerals to the Empire, with almost a dozen mines found in the lands where this small territory resides, Fenrir must supply neighboring kingdoms with resources like iron and steel for weapons, stone to build, and jems for ornateness.
With the access to these mines, blacksmiths and miners are steady jobs in Ravenloft, with even more traders that offer pretty pennies for resources like stone and iron, which we supply with trade routes to the Empire, so as to give the Emperor resources.
In some places in the lands of Ravenloft, giant castles with the sole purpose of being a fortified mining camp can be found, complete stone walls and nicely made structures that allow the citizens of their mining camps to live and breathe in the towns their whole lives of need be
But the two capitals of the opposite sides of the flowing river that cuts through the middle of the territory are where the heart of the entire territory Fenrir owns lies. Vestfold, the larger of the two, holds the kings palace, with the entire city heavily fortified yet ornate with gems from our own mines. And Garðaríki, the smaller of the two cities, the travelers dream with trade centers found all over, and where most shipments to The Emperor are completed
