Welcome to Harbor Crest High School, a slice-of-life roleplay set in a fictional Southern California public high school inspired by the coastal charm of Long Beach. Harbor Crest is a place where students find themselves—whether on the stage, in the art studio, on the court, or simply navigating the everyday highs and lows of teenage life.
With a nationally recognized Advanced Arts Program, a proud tradition of championship girls’ basketball and competitive lacrosse, and a campus filled with clubs, traditions, rivalries, friendships, and drama, Harbor Crest aims to be a living, breathing community where every character has a story to tell.
This roleplay is built around character-driven storytelling. Whether your character is chasing a scholarship, directing the school musical, joining Yearbook, finding their first love, repairing a broken friendship, or simply trying to survive senior year, there’s a place for them here.

Harbor Crest is first and foremost a slice-of-life roleplay. While romance, drama, rivalries, and school events are all welcome (and encouraged!), the heart of the RP is building memorable characters and letting their stories unfold naturally.
Think One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights, The O.C., All American, or The Perks of Being a Wallflower—grounded, emotional, character-driven stories with plenty of room for laughter, heartbreak, growth, and everything in between.

🌊 What to Expect
- Writing Standard: High Casual (quality over quantity—give your writing partners enough to work with, but don’t feel pressured to write a novel every post).
- Posting Expectations: One post every seven days. Life happens, and we understand that, but we’d like to keep stories moving at a comfortable, consistent pace.
- Character Limit: Two characters per writer. This helps keep the cast active, manageable, and encourages meaningful interactions throughout the school.
- Face Claims: Real-life face claims only. Photography and/or gifs are required. AI-generated images, artwork, and anime will not be accepted.
- Discord Required: Our Discord server serves as the community hub for Harbor Crest. All announcements, plotting, questions, OOC discussion, and server events will take place there, so joining Discord is required to participate.
