If your not familiar with the web series Video game high school it takes place in the near future where video gaming elevates its best players to stardom by its position as the world's most popular competitive sport. [3] Video Game High School (VGHS) is an elite and prestigious facility which teaches a curriculum of video games of all genres.

I'm looking for two Rpers(At the most 3) to take on the role of first year students. It is going to be a fun lighthearted Rp. The story will basically be about life at vghs: Trying to make jv or varsity teams, high school like problems, gaming fights, gaming seasons and tournaments, etc.... I would like for use all to be in the same game genre for our school competition gaming. Any interest or questions?

You can join grim. Before I make the ooc I want us to agree on a genre of game we will be competing in. The main game in the series is field of fire a fps. Is everyone ok with that or do any of you guys have another idea?

When I first saw this, I was planning on having my character specialize in fighting games (MK, Street Fighter, the like), but when I read about everyone being in the same genre, I assumed that FPS would be the genre that we all shared mainly because it's the main one in the ongoing series.

I'm fine with that, having everyone be in the same genre, but I would have thought that it would be more interesting for the each of us to have out own genres.

You can be into fighters as a single player in competition but, I want use to be the same in team for team competitions because it will be user for my to create events. I might make a exception if I could get a co-gm to help me out.

What if Calhoun were to change the curriculum? Like when Ted was planning to go to Rhythm Gaming, but was placed into Racing because he was a lot better at it. Maybe the students would be allowed to pick a Back-up class if the original didn't work out all that well, or if they believed that they could succeed in two different genres? With that, we could have more possibilities for Story Arcs, not only being focused on FPS gaming, but also a personal Arc for each character and the other gaming genre that they specify in.

Of course, this would make things a bit more difficult for the characters to organize their lives, but it would give the RP the amount of variety that the series has, and I think that it would be fun to see them rush around, dealing with two gaming genres.

I'm okay with any genre and do I absolutely need to watch the series to rp with this? I can but it might take awhile (cause doesn't it at least have more then one season?)

It's only at two seasons, but it isn't very long. A few hours at the very most. You only need to watch the first season to get an understanding of it all, maybe just the first few episodes even!

Yes the same teaching staff. OOC is up! I warn you it's very short sweet and to the point because I'm really ready to start the Rp.
