- High school senior x school secretary: The Black Rock ALC is known in the area as "Asshole's Last Chance," and rightly so; the students are from troubled backgrounds. The senior year starts, and a new secretary is hired. After dealing with the bad students for a quarter, a new student is enrolled. However, he's different-- quiet, shy, and respectful. Things really take off when one student brings a gun to school, and the new student gets shot protecting the secretary.
- Peasant x witch: In medieval Europe, there are rumors of a demon mare roaming the woods. A young peasant attempts to catch her, only to discover that she is a witch. Impressed by his will, the witch begins teaching him magic, and the two start falling in love. However, the kingdom views magic as evil, and if they're caught, they will be burned at the stake.
- Psychiatric patient x girl in mirror: A young man is committed to the psychiatric ward of a hospital. After several months, he is prescribed a new medication. But soon after that, something weird begins happening... a young woman begins appearing in his mirror and speaking with him. However, he soon finds out that she is not an illusion at all.
- Dragons of the Loch: Loch Ness is home to one of the world's most intriguing phenomena: the Loch Ness Monster. It has been seen for hundreds of years, and become a cryptozoological cash cow for residents of Loch Ness. However, something odd has been occurring ever since an earthquake a month ago-- the fish population drastically decreased. Soon after that, livestock with access to the shore of the loch began disappearing. Last week, a boat hired by a visiting cryptozoologist went down, all hands lost. The boat was found with its hull broken. The most interesting part, however, was a large, serrated tooth found embedded in the wood. The town of Drumnadrochit has quietly hired a team to determine what brought the boat down. But as the team probes deeper, they find that legends of old are coming to terrifying life.
- Beasts in the Shadows: The story follows a team of cryptozoologists as they investigate cryptids. However, it seems that something is making the beasts violent; those that would normally avoid humans are attacking any human that enters their territory. But what-- or who-- is causing this? And what will happen if it/they succeed?
- Dragon x maiden sacrifice: In medieval Europe, a dragon is offered a maiden sacrifice to appease him. However, things go awry when a new, younger dragon kills the other, and takes the girl himself. But when they reach his cave, she discovers that this dragon is not greedy, evil, or anything stereotypically draconic-- this dragon abhors killing humans, and his only hoard consists of books and musical instruments. When he offers her freedom, she declines, fascinated by this very undragonlike dragon.
- Young man x ningyo: A young man, whose father was in the US Navy, moves to Japan when his father is stationed there. But instead of living on the base, his mother insists on purchasing a house on the shore of Lake Biwa. However, he soon encounters a female ningyo, or mermaid. The two become friends, and eventually fall in love. But between her family and nosy neighbors, this love won't be easy.
- Medieval inspired by Blackmore's Night: In a parallel Earth known as Gaia, the nation-equivalent of Europe has gone through a shift in power with the death of the old king. In his place came his son. But his father's personal guards and soldiers-- the Paladins-- saw the new king's evil ways and incited a rebellion. In response, the king killed the Paladins with dark magic, and had their families put to death. But there was a boy, the son of the head of the Paladin Order, that escaped, and is preparing to fight back. However when he stumbles across the young women who is to be wedded to the king, he recognizes her as the noble's daughter who helped him escape execution.
- Young man/woman x robot servant: In 2025 Minneapolis, a young (wo)man inherits an antique store from a deceased relative. Among the belongings are the normal things - old books and toys, political memorabilia, various odds and ends... and one robotic servant. It was owned by the (wo)man's relative, and included in the will. However, it looks and behaves almost human. Before the relative died, they managed to install a special feature that allows the robot to become more and more human.
