Scarlet jumped and turned, going white. "I swear I wasn't going to do anything, officer...I just was waiting for my friend...she should be here soon...I'm scarlet o'hare..." They suddenly heard a huge blast and turned to look at the base. Scarlet said "boss...you can't be using your powers already..."

Wolfbane crashed swords with captain bolt, his powers flying all over. But so were hers. Energy wrapped around as it looked figures were appearing around them. Bolt smiled and said "you can't beat me...your powers won't best me this time" she shook her head and said "your heartless bolt..."

The young man nodded at the woman when speaking about the use of powers, and smiled a bit when he had been told that the woman in front of him was the one that he was looking for. "She's using her powers because we got caught. We need your boat to be on the other side of the base so we can get her."

Scarlet looked at him then her eyes widened as it clicked for her, "well then we better get a move on. Get in, we don't have a lot of time. The boss's powers won't last long with how much she's used them in the last few days" scarlet jumped onto the small boat, getting it ready to move.

Wolfbane was panting, her shoulder and nose bleeding as the silver energy was building around her. Captain bolt looked worse, breathing are as his sparks went flying. "Your power....it's not possible you still have this much charge....after what you did..." Wolfbane frowned and said " I get the job done bolt...and you haven't seen anything yet...." She raised her hand and the energy wrapped around and suddenly wolves started to appear, spirit wolves with odd markings on them.

The young man nodded at Scarlet as he jumped onto the boat as well, waiting for her to finish up getting ready and finally set sail. "I should probably introduce myself. My name is Hawking." He looked at her and nodded. That was what he went by in the Navy, since most people went by their last names, and since he had two, he was going to go with the one that he liked better. He didn't think that she should know his first name just yet, since he had only met her, but the last name seemed interesting enough.

Scarlet smiled as the boat headed out of the dock, her taking care if steering. "Nice to meet you, hawking. Hopefully this will go as the boss planned...if she would tell me her plans..." Soon they were at the dock of the base where both now could see bolt and Wolfbane fighting, his bolts flying as her odd energy moved around, the wolves attacking when the could. Scarlet cursed and said "she's going to over do it..."

"What can she do? What are her powers? Maybe I can use my possession to keep him still for a little bit so that she can take him down." he looked over at Scarlet and glanced at the ongoing battle, unsure of what she could actually do.

Scarlet looked at him and said "it's a cursed fruit power...she can control energy around her...it's hard to explain...she understands it...boss?!" She stood up as Wolfbane suddenly was blasted away from bolt, her shoulder black and bloody. Captain bolt stood over her, his eyes burning will blood lust. She looked up at him then said "you force my hand...bolt.." She raised her hand and then closed her hand into a fist. Bolt gasped and held his chest, his skin and eyes starting to glow white.

Hawking's head snapped over to the woman that was fighting Bolt as Scarlet called out to her. He could see her bloody shoulder. He wanted to jump over there and finish off Bolt while taking care of the woman. It seemed like a nasty wound, and would probably need to be healed very soon. Before he could do anything, the woman raised her hand and closed it, somehow causing Bolt to glow. Hawking jumped off of the boat and rushed over to the woman, standing right next to her.

Scarlet stayed in the boat as bolt fell to his knees, coughing up blood. Wolfbane stood up, her eyes glowing as she held her hand tight. "Back off, bolt....or I will kill you...." She loosed her hand and bolt stopped glowing, falling to his hands. She flinched and turned her back and smiled at hawking. Bolt looked up and charged up one last bolt and said "I always win...." He threw it and aimed at hawking. Wolfbane sensed it and tackled hawking. The bolt hit her in the back, pushing her forward and both of them hit the ground. Scarlet gasped and yelled "boss!"

Hawking barely knew what had just happened, but he was tackled by the woman he was trying to save and landed on the ground pretty much safe. The same coulnd't have been said for her, however. When he had finally realized what happened, Hawking looked at her with surprise and cursed under his breath. He quickly got up and glared at Bolt. "If killing you won't get me a bounty, then I don't know what will." His voice was dripping with anger and hatred as he spoke, and he was glaring daggers at bolt. Hawking joined his hands together in front of him and focused.

Bolt looked at him, smiling madly. "Doesn't matter...I win....I beat her" Wolfbane stirred, unable to move. Scarlet tied the boat to the dock and ran towards the fight. "Boss?!"

"You aren't going to beat me!" Hawking yelled as his shadow extended from his own person to Bolt. His eyes had darkened to a pitch black, and his shadow had become a full line of black as well. He was going to kill Bolt from the inside out using his possession ability.

Bolt laughed, not noticing what he was doing. Scarlet landed by Wolfbane, checking her pulse. "Hawking we have to get her put of here. She's in really bad shape" bolt glared at the girl and raised his hand. "Wolfbane dies tonight girl...."

"Today, Captain Bolt..." Hawking started out as he looked at his raised hand. "You'll drown in darkness." Bolt's shadow began to grow as Hawking continued to focus, slowly tearing away at the captain's life from the inside out. All of the energy that Bolt had was being pulled into the void, while his body would soon become a lifeless husk.

Scarlet pulled Wolfbane into her lap and shielded her as bolt charged his hands....then the spark failed and he fell back, the sick smile on his face. Scarlet looked around and said "what did you do to him?" Wolfbane was out cold, her breathing harsh

Hawking didn't move at all when Bolt begun to change his hands. It was for too late for the captain, and it would have been easier for all of them if he had just stopped earlier. When it was all over with, Hawking's shadow quickly retracted and a sigh escaped his lips as he stumbled over, almost falling to his side. He caught himself barely and walked over to Scarlet and the Wolfbane as quick as he could. "We'll worry about that later. What's her condition?" He panted out as he looked at Wolfbane, trying to see if he could assess it himself.

Scarlet shook her head and said "I don't know....I'm a cook not a doctor....she's barely breathing. He hit her hard....it was a cheap shot....we have to get her out of here and to a friend of the boss's...he will know what to do for her" Wolfbane flinched, her body shaking

"Then lets go. I'll carry her and you steer us to this friend of hers." Hawking held out his hands to Scarlet and looked at Wolfbane, hoping that they could save her in time. It's be such a pain to have her die out on them since he had only become a pirate, and he didn't know anyone who was accepting new crew.

Scarlet nodded and helped get Wolfbane up and headed for the ship, Wolfbane flinching. Scarlet got the boat ready as Hawking brought Wolfbane aboard and she loosened the sails and headed out of the port. She looked back as Wolfbane laid down, gasping in pain. "How is she doing back there?"

Hawking shook his head and looked at Scarlet with worry. "She isn't faring well, but she'll make it if we hurry." He looked back down at Wolfbane and sighed, making sure to check her vitals every few minutes. He then looked back up at Scarlet. "What's her name? I never asked her when I got her out of the cell."
