Korra has left this life and another Avatar is born into this world. An earthbender this time. But that has very little to do with our story.
Because you will be quite far away from the hectic world of war and politics. You are sheltered in the much smaller world that is Turtle Lion Bending School. In a remote and quite idyllic environment the building has been crafted by wise and noble people, benders and non-benders alike, to help create a balanced future.

personality: She's a bit of a YinYang, half of her is good, half of her is bad. To those she cares about she's very kind, but to those she hates she is extremely sadistic and cruel. Those who know of her bad side often call her a snake because of how she waits and waits until the perfect time to strike. Ellfen is very tribal and doesn't really like how everything she sees now is almost always made of stone. She tends to refer to herself as a Sandbender more than anything and gets annoyed with the title of Earthbender that people always give her.

Personality: Makki is a light hearted individual. He tends to see the bright side of everything and everyone despite circumstances. It takes a great deal to anger Makki, and even more to get a reaction. He seems to fit in with every group, having friends from all cliques and classes. Makki's attachment to animals is second to none and he can rarely be seen without his faithful Polar Horse Goat, Kana or a variety of other small furry creatures.
Short Bio: Makki's family was one of the first to move to the Lion Turtle Bending School. He was just a young boy at the time, though no less excited for when he would finally be admitted into the classes. His first year went without a hitch (or at least as well as a first year could expect) and he looks forward to starting his second year of schooling. (More will be revealed in the IC)

Name: Jinto Yakou

The tattooed necklace of flames is his clan's mark.

Personality: If one were to look into Jinto's eyes they'd see the color of red and something else, ambition. From birth, he has believed he was destined for greatness. He dreams of the day he grows to become a bender of legendary proportions who dwarfs even the avatar in fame. For that very day he works extremely hard on his studies and perfecting the fire-bending style of his family line. He is extremely focused and takes only little time out of his rigorous training schedule to socialize or even speak.
Short Bio: Born into a clan of well-known Fire benders, he grew up learning the art and honing his skills. Worried about his workaholic, anti-social attitude, his family sent him to the Lion Turtle school in the hopes that he would make friends. His first year, his intimidating demeanor and lack of interest in social activities gave him a reputation as a cold-shouldered delinquent.
other: His dream is to become a legendary fire bender and plans to defeat the Avatar to prove his skill to the world. To defeat the Avatar he has been trying to learn Lightening-bending.

Name: Sayomi Inoue

Year: first year

Personality: At a first glance, Sayomi seems to be a calm, enjoyable person to talk to, and she is. She loves to talk about nature, especially since she's used to the stark environment of the Southern Water Tribe. She is more than eager to help an injured animal for she sometimes behaves in a motherly way, caring for those around her. But don't get her gentle side confused with the cold persona she can take on when she's angered or out to seek revenge. One piece of advice is to not mess with those she cares about.

Short Bio: Sayomi originally grew up in the Southern Water Tribe taking care of her siblings after her mother left their father for an earthbender around the time Sayomi was 10. Her father was sent to the Northern Water Tribe to help train the children waterbending, so her siblings (aged 3 and 5) relied on Sayomi extensively. When she turned 15, one of the elders, Alana, took in the Inoue children and sought to raise them the way she had raised her own child. Alana saw that Sayomi had a knack for bending and sent her to the Turtle Lion Bending School to enhance her abilities in the hope that she could make a difference in the world just as her grandmother Katara did. To remember her, Sayomi wears Katara's etched necklace, often touching it during times of trouble as if to ask her for guidance.

Other: Sayomi has always been inspired by her grandmother's feats, namely working alongside Avatar Aang, the last airbender, and wishes to do the same with the new Avatar. Since not much is known about the Avatar, she hopes that the Avatar is a handsome guy that she could fall in love with. Her other aspiration is to become the world's best healer.

Personality: Suzume isn't afraid to speak her mind when the situation calls for it. While she generally prefers to just let people settle their own arguments, if it involves someone she knows then be prepared to get chewed out. She finds people who disrupt classrooms incredibly annoying and believes any disputes are best settled outside of class hours.

Name: Turuk

Year: First Year

Personality: Usually calm and collected. He has devoted much of his life to learning waterbending, and, because of this, his personality reflects the characteristics of water. He can be passive and serene one moment, then furious the next. In classes, he is usually very quiet, participating rarely. He is not very outgoing, but fiercely loyal and protective to the friends he has. Despite this, he is not gullible, and will rarely interact positively with those he deems ' a bad influence'.

Short Bio: Turuk was born in the Northern Water Tribe, to two waterbenders. He has two siblings, who are both younger than him (Anakka - female, and Kanak - male) and cannot yet join the Bending School. They are both waterbenders. At the age of thirteen, he travelled to the Earth Kingdom and the United Republic, where he and his family learned of the existence of the Lion Turtle's academy. When he reached the acceptable age, he enrolled into it and was accepted. He remains there to this day, studying the art of waterbending.

Other: He aspires to become a waterbending master. He has few ambitions other than this, merely wanting to train future generations for the good of his Tribe.
