With the help of her brothers, she’s known to be a pretty good fighter. One day, her childhood friend tells her about this new game. Normally, she wouldn’t dare play a videogame but this one sparked her interest. She could play as if she was in the real world, with her own abilities. No button mashing, slash ‘em ups for her. Excited, she buys the game and the system and begins her journey.

Yuki is a small town girl that grew up on a small farm with her family. Her childhood friend, tried to get her to move with him to the big city so they could make it big, but she refused him, preferring to stay in their home town. The boy was angered by this and stormed off, never contacting her again. Until one day, while on her computer, he messaged her again, years later. She decides to try and make it up to him by visiting him, only to be kidnapped and sent into the world of Lumen Ruber Caedis, where she has been kept. She stays in the top most floor, afraid and alone, no way to get out. She wasn’t brought up strong or courageous. All she knows are the animals on the farm and how to plant seeds. She knows nothing of how this world works.

Aiko grew up with Yuki in a small town. His parents owned the local inn and he was supposed to take over it when he was old enough. He didn’t want that. He was more into computers and decided to go to the big city to study programming. He left his family, but asked Yuki to come with him. When she refused, he got very angry and vowed he’d get his revenge on her. Several years later, he’d developed from the SAO seed, an exact replica and garnered the trust of millions of players. He invited Yuki to come see him and catch up, his intents to capture her and send her into the game. She’s in now in one of his private hospitals, stuck inside the game, the first of millions.
