The Doctor went red in the face. "I umm... was that when we umm." he seemed to get all embarrassed. He didn't seem to know how to phrase what he was thinking. He had been a father before, long time ago but he had lost his kids.
He blinked "So I am going to be a father?" He really hoped he didn't screw that one up this time. He passed her the medicine "Then you have to get better." he whispered "Can't have you risking two lives now can we." he gives a small smile.
Hes not mad but he is in shock really. The Doctor though leaned on her with a tired smile, he had never thought he would be a father again.

"Yes, your going to be a father! But whether it's a boy or a girl, I have no idea! All I know is the pregnancy test was positive and there's a bump where our child is forming!" River said, smiling at him as she pulled down her shirt over the little bump she had. She smiled and took the medicine from him. "Your right! We have to have a healthy baby, now don't we?" River asked with her cute little smirk, drinking down the medicine before kissing him again.

The Doctor was very weak, he thought he would fall asleep in her arms. "Why didn't you tell me?" his voice was calm, he was a little hurt she hadn't told him sooner. But not too much.
He was smiling for awhile as he snuggled up with her. Though after awhile he started crying hard. "I'm scared i'll mess up like last time..... I couldn't even protect my cloned daughter Jenny she was shot dead," Doesn't know she is alive. "And my children and grandchild from past are gone, What If I mess up this time?" He had tears falling down his face, he was happy he could be a father again, but also scared he would mess it all up again. He held Rivers hand.

River ran her fingers through his hair and shushed him, wiping the tears from his face. "I didn't want you to because I didn't want you to get upset like this. Sweet heart, you won't mess up again. And even if you do, I won't stop loving you; ever. And if we end up losing him or her, we can always have another. I'm old, but I'm not that old!" River said winking and smiling, kissing his lips and nuzzling her nose against his own.

The Doctor was looking at her, He knew that she was right. He seemed to calm down after awhile "Sorry.. I just don't always have confidence in this anymore, But you better not risk your life for me anymore."
He didn't want anything happening to her. The Doctor was likely to get protective.
He yawned and soon fell asleep in her arms.

"And why should I~" River said before he fell asleep, sighing and laughing to herself a bit. She kissed his forehead before falling asleep herself. River woke up later on, rushing to the toilet and letting herself dry heave since she had nothing in her stomach. And with the baby inside of her, it hurt like hell. Tears streamed down her face as she vomited up some blood, silently sobbing and shaking as she knew this was because of the pregnancy. She had known that she would vomit eventually, but she knew her doctor would worry. And then he'd get upset again.

"River?" The Doctor looked around and rushed to her. He was panicking "Are you alright?" he wasn't sure if she was ok. He seemed to be panicking. He rubbed her back . He doesn't know if its normal.
He was frowning, he thought she was getting worse from the sickness.
"Please tell me you aren't dying...?" he had tears in his eyes.

River looked into his eyes, knowing he had no idea what was happening. "This is going to be normal sweetheart, all pregnant women throw up. It's just part of the process." River said, still shaking as a few more tears streamed down her face. She hoped she was right, for his sake. And if she wasn't....... Well, she just had to be right!

"Well that seems pointless........," The Doctor really didn't get it. "Umm maybe I can find something to ease it, Its got to be miserable... But I thought you were getting sicker." He had tears in his eyes and pulled her close and hugged her.
He didn't want anything to be wrong. He was still a little panicked "Don't cry River." he was worried when he saw that she was crying. His body was still quite weak and he groaned. "I can't stand having no energy... need to have fun, Plus what if universe dies before I can recover if I am not there." he grumbled.

River smiled and leaned up against him a bit, slowly wiping away her tears with her shaking hands. "I know it's pointless...... But I just gotta get through it. I'll be fine love, I promise you that." River said, hugging him with her shaking form. She looked exhausted still, and hoped the medicine was working for the doctor. If it wasn't she'd murder herself for not being able to make the medicine correctly. Curses, I can't even mention that now since I've got a baby on the way...... Again, CURSES!!!! She thought to herself, not showing her thoughts on her face.

The Doctor looked at her and stroked her hair, he was holding her "Mmm I don;t ever want to be a woman," he chuckled a bit. He thought she looked tired and he wished that he knew how to help.
He was very worried about her still and hopes that she won't get sick like this all the time "You should eat something River." he still didn't want to eat himself. The medicine was helping but he was sure it would wear off causing him to need more.

"I don't want you to be a woman either. I wouldn't be able to stand you if you were!" River said and laughed a bit, happy that her doctor was at least feeling a bit better. She shook her head no when he told her she should probably eat, holding her stomach again. "Not right now....... Maybe later....... Don't want to puke again." River murmured, crying out as she started to have severe stomach pains.

The Doctor coughed a little and looked at her " It will be ok River." he worried when he heard her cry out in pain, he wished he knew what to do. He just wanted things to go well.
"Ohh what if the baby is smarter than us." He looked horrified at the thought, but in a joking way.
He looked tired again "Oh why do I have to be so tired."
