Serena looked at her, anger in her eyes. "Then you don't understand much do you..." She got up and walked over to the other side of the room and said "dad didn't understand the pain till he met my mother...then he stopped hunting for the church...he tried to change...then mom was killed and...well, he went off the deep end...went after his last real nightmare and he was gone...and I'm alone now"

"here" he said giving her the book, this book would give her all the inofrmation she would want to know about the supernatrual, from Van helsing, Van helsing last wish was to give it to his daughter so Dracula was doing that
