Emma sat by a fire she made, cleaning off her sword. " ummm...i wonder if those idiots are still following me..." she muttered. Hero sat on the branch above her, keeping an eye out for her
There was the sound of footsteps nearby. A pair of vibrant, green eyes were visible in the darkness, their owner wishing to stay concealed. "Please don't be alarmed," a male voice said. "Would it be possible to share the fire?"
Emma didnt turn around, she only remained cailm. She had had no idea who this guy was,but if was to try something, she would take action. " sure, come on over. " she said. She finished cleaning her sword and put it up
The young man stepped into the light, bow in hand, arrow on the string. "Don't move," he whispered. He aimed in the girl's direction and let the arrow fly. But he didn't hit her; there was a yelp from the bushes in front of her, and a great, reptilian creature fell dead.
Emma folded her arms and smirked." Nice eye you have.." she said and glared into the fire. " so are you coming over here our are you going to keep showing off?"
He put his bow away. "I wasn't showing off," he growled. "I just sensed it was there." He drew a knife and moved towards the carcass. "By the way, I'm Blaze."
"You're up?" Blaze asked. "I know I can. Stalker hides are prized trophies, and their teeth are used for potions." He shivered. "Where are you heading to?"
Several hours passed, until Blaze noticed something at the edge of the clearing. It was similar to the creature he'd killed earlier, but larger, bulkier, and more brightly colored: the male, that one's mate. Blaze shrugged his shoulders... and slowly spread a pair of draconic wings out behind him.
