So much had happened in little time as Beast watched Asha leave in some form of panic, he watched as Aya approach the window. He wondered what happened to the new girl making him get closer to the window to see Asha floating.

Beast: “My, my how very interesting…… No wait fascinating is a much better word.”

He eyed Aya for a moment though soon turned away from the window. The big blue furry creature smiled for a moment before walking off to do something, most likely do research or read a good book. As he walked down the hallway Wolfbane had run by him, she was in her animal form with two mutants chasing her. He would of said stop it, but seeing the smiles on their face made him smile and so disregarded it. The mansion was always interesting though sometimes there was too much to handle due to the young mutants excitement and energy level.
Professor X: “Yes John, I always have time to talk to my students and my X-Men. Come sit down and we can chat about those things.”

The professor soon moved from the bookcase in his office, he was looking for a certain book but that could now wait for later. Xavier turns and moves back to his desk where John would sit on the other side if he chose to sit down, in the end it was a choice and not a command. Charles gave John a look showing he was ready to listen to him, he understood what mutants in his shoes were like at this age. There was always change, but it was something the professor tried to help them through, normally with success.

John watched as the professor moved over to the desk, offering John a seat, which he declined as he had tended to break most chairs he sat in that hadn't been reinforced but came to stand behind the indicated chair.

"Thank you Professor sir." John began, "I think that what ever is happening has not finished happening - but I would like to understand what will happen, but the other thing I am worried about is that my power is not always my own." Although the earth movers skin was not actually skin he could still blush and blush he did as he remembered the more then one occasion where he had lost control of his power and destroyed parts of the mansion or the grounds or almost hurting a team mate.

"Is there anyway to be able to see what will become of me - or when?" It was clear John was starting to fret and become flustered as he began to worry about what was to become of him.

"If there is anything you can do Professor Sir, it would be much appreciated."

Laura stopped and assessed this new student as a threat. Having virtually no information on the target made her uncomfortable and instead of attempting to subdue, which would have likely made the situation a thousand times worse. She stepped aside. Her gaze followed the glowing woman's trail right out the window. In hindsight, the panic attack seemed a bit inevitable. She blinked and paused, staring out the window. "Was it something I said?" she questioned, completely free of facetiousness.

She eyed the marks on Aya's face surreptitiously and decided not to say anything, she'd already scared off one student and didn't really feel like running off a second.

"I hope that she knew she could fly, but something tells me that is not the case," she mused rather plainly. The idea troubled her, but it didn't show. Every bit of data she had gathered on the new student already lead her to some interesting conclusions about what was going on with her, but addressing them directly might not be the best policy. She'd have to consult her adoptive father, he'd know what to do. Besides...if there were any two that could keep a secret in the mansion, it was them.

With a twitch of her nose X caught a new scent. A predatory scent, but no foot steps. She pulled her hands from her pockets and extended one set of claws immediately. She twisted and spun from the window and ran at the wall instead. Leaping for the wall, she tucked in her legs and pushed off with all of her strength, effectively launching herself at the floating target. She reached for his throat with one hand claws following close behind with the other. The entire process a complete reaction, she barely had time to think until she was in the air, wondering who and what this mutant was capable of. She knew neither of these things, only that she must protect the mansion at any cost.
"Sleeping it off, huh? I hope they sleep alright," she tossed back without missing a beat; knowing exactly how the team operated had its advantages. It would do no good to express concern or worry, if they were home then they had the best care imaginable. And, as she knew, she was on a strictly need-to-know basis. If it was really bad, she'd know.

Bloom listened Sarah's quip with a barely suppressed snicker before deciding to put the milk back, green tea tasted better plain to her anyway. "That sounds quite lovely, both of you. I'll get the nice cups then, we'll be so fancy," she purred out and almost danced over to another cupboard. She retrieved three tea cups and saucers, slightly bigger than your average china, but decorated with intricate little flowers of red, white and green. She set them on the table and moved to grab a hot pad, in anticipation of the kettle.

"What do I want? A lottery win, chicken pasta florentine and a spa day, but the Pollock is fine. I don't like fish."
"Bet your birthdate or ask Xavier, I bet that's how he keeps the lights on. Put a bid in for kitchen duty and make some for everyone. Why not set the Danger room for a spa day instead of high seas?"

He started to chuckle at her Fish faux pas but it reminded him of a joke.

"John Smith was the only Protestant to move into a large Catholic neighborhood. On the first Friday of Lent, John was outside grilling a big juicy steak on his grill. Meanwhile, all of his neighbors were eating cold tuna fish for supper.
This went on each Friday of Lent. On the last Friday of Lent, the neighborhood men got together and decided that something had to be done about John, he was tempting them to eat meat each Friday of Lent, and they couldn't take it anymore. They decided to try and convert John to Catholicism.
They went over and talked to him and were so happy that he decided to join all of his neighbors and become a Catholic. They took him to Church, and the
Priest sprinkled some water over him, and said, "You were born a Baptist, you were raised a Baptist, and now you are a Catholic." The men were so relieved--now their biggest Lenten temptation was resolved.
The next year's Lenten season rolled around. The first Friday of Lent came, and just at supper time, when the neighborhood was setting down to their tuna fish dinner, came the wafting smell of steak cooking on a grill. The neighborhood men could not believe their noses!
They called each other up and decided to meet over in John's yard to see if he had forgotten it was the first Friday of Lent? The group arrived just in time to see John standing over his grill with a small pitcher of water. He was sprinkling some water over his steak on the grill, saying, "You were born a cow, you were raised a cow, and now you are a fish."

All the while he is telling the story, his hands are nearly a blur of blue. Years of making sushi would leave most of this to muscle memory while adding his superhuman dexterity to let the knife dance over his fingers as he worked over the cuts of fruit, vegetable and flesh of sea life while setting prepping rolling then making one tube into a dozen slivers before plated to the side. Since Sarah said she didn't care for fish, he did a vegan California roll with avocado, tofu to replace the crab, cucumber and bean sprout caps to replace the roe. He put the sprout shafts to use elsewhere as he worked his way across eel, octopus and that delightful tuna begging to be made into art with green flyingfish roe rolled in toasted sesame.

"Sleeping it off, huh? I hope they sleep alright,"

Now it was his turn to singsong a bit. "o/" Their blankets hand-knitted, with pure Angora wool... o/" Their nappies are dry, and tummies are full... o/" Of enough antihistamine to chill out a bull..." As he set up the plates of food to a single platter they could all take from with a pair of serving chopsticks for keeping their fingers clean.

"Well, I could make green tea, it'd go better with the sushi, provided any of us get any before Magnus here wolfs them down. I think I can manage boiling water without killing anyone."
"That sounds quite lovely, both of you. I'll get the nice cups then, we'll be so fancy,"

At the mention of him wolfing them down, he takes a moment to lick his blade needlessly and set the slice that was going to go onto the last piece directly into his mouth before he started to clean up his station.

"I don't think we need to go all 'Sabi-Wabi', so don't get too worked up on it. But yeah, its nice to wind down like this after any trip."

The professor listened the whole time and thought about what John was saying. Xavier could see John was worried making him think for a moment. When John stopped talking there was a moment of silences though soon broke as Charles left his desk and went round it to get closer to John.

Xavier: “I see, well as you know John the X-Gene can do many things, each having its own effect whether it is good or bad. Also what do you mean by my power is not always my own?”

The man paused for a moment

Xavier: “You should not worry John, change it to be expected, powers evolve and appearances may change but one thing remains the same, you are still you.”

He paused once more before saying something else.

Xavier: “I can take a look for you but there is no way to tell what changes will happen or when they will happen. You just need to relax though I understand your feelings as this is something many mutants your age worry about.”

The professor could not do much himself but he could try and make him understand.

Xavier: “All I can do is help you control these powers, in turn this may help you when the time comes to those changes. John in what way do you want me to help you, do you want me to search your mind or do you want to understand your powers better? The more you know the easy it will be.”

He wanted John to remain calm, he was experiencing something that happens to all mutants and that something was change.

Yeong Lee stretched as he walked along the lake, watching the sunset. He'd had a long day of running around, playing with the younger mutants, goofing off in class, and falling for that damn laser pointer trick again... twice. He had no clue why he kept falling for it, he knew it was just a dot... but it was so shiny, he had to have it! Catching himself spacing off, he caught a noise incoming from the mansion. It didn't sound like anything he'd ever heard before. On top of that, he didn't recognize the smell either, so he quickly darted up into a nearby tree, concealing himself in the shrubbery and focusing on disguising his breathing and keeping his heart rate calm. It didn't take long before a brightly glowing figure came into view. It appeared to be a... oh... a girl. And a rather cute one at that. She shined brightly like a rainbow of stars. Leon was about to make his presence known when she started shooting off fireworks. It was a lovely sight and she seemed to be having so much fun. So he just stayed quiet, finding a branch to lounge on, and just enjoyed the view for a while, before he finally spoke up.

"Hey, Gorgeous. I'm really enjoying the show" He said, turning on his branch so as to look directly at her...

Asha stopped what she was doing immediately, eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights. Those eyes glanced around before landing on a rather large looking cat. Well, humanoid cat. It seemed he was the one who had spoke. Bright like a shooting star, she flashed into the trees, frantically looking for her light absorbing black clothes. It was okay, once she had her clothes back on, everything would be okay. Maybe she could ask him to pretend like it had never happened. Maybe she could ask him to pretend like he had never seen anything. Where were those goddamned clothes?!

Finally finding them, she threw on her tunic, pants and mask, shoving her multicolored hair into her head dress and forcefully putting on her shoes and gloves. Panting from that frantic movement, she suddenly felt her black clothes were more constricting than they had felt before. They were hotter too. Suffocating almost. Asha straightened her back and tried to control her pounding heart. Time to face the music. Well, er, cat-man-guy-person. Passing under the trees towards the door near what looked like a kitchen she tried not to stumble and at least look a little graceful.

"I-I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone what you saw!" her muffled shout, sent towards the other, "Actually!" She stopped and turned, shouting again, "I-I'd like it if you could pretend you never saw anything at all!" Er, that sounded a bit rude... "Th-Thank you!" She trudged towards the door and stumbled into a room full of people. Her glowing golden eyes turned a shade of embarrassed pink. Geez... Smooth... she'd hoped they hadn't seen or heard anything. It...was sort of embarrassing...

"P-Pardon me," her muffled voice sounded a bit apologetic, eyes glancing over her shoulder to see if the cat-guy had wound up following her. She looked back into the kitchen, taking in the odd trio shyly. A rather...sensuous looking girl, a nature type with what seemed to be tattoos and a... Her eyes grew a bit wide at looking at the one who resembled Nightcrawler. Her eyes changed a million different of colors, the skin around them doing the same. Catching herself staring, she turned several shades of pink and looked down.

Leon was startled as the girl shot into a nearby tree like a bullet. "H-hey! W-what a minute!" he cried, leaping off the branch and landing on the lawn. But before he could explain himself, she took off like a bat out of hell, running straight toward the kitchen. Her voice was muffled, but his ears distinctly picked up her pleas to just forget everything. His ears drooped as he heard that. It sounded like the poor girl was ashamed of herself. He wondered if she couldn't turn her powers off. Hell, he could understand that. It's not like he could STOP being a tiger, but he loved himself like he was. But Leon didn't want to leave their first encounter like this, so he decided to follow her... and a small, tiny part of his brain was worried she ran because his appearance frightened her.

Leon ran on all fours to the door, hoping to catch her before she got too far. He reached the door in no time, and ripped it open... and nearly collided with the girl who had apparently been stock still, maneuvering in such a manner, that he nearly hit the floor, had he not caught the counter. "Wow, that was close" he chuckled, realizing there where others in the area. "Hello, Sarah, Appolina, Magnus. What's up?" he asked with a smile, before a familiar scent tickled his nose "Is that... sushi?" he drooled...

As John finished his mini rant the professor moved around the desk to get closer to his student and started to speak to the worried mutant.

"I see, well as you know John the X-Gene can do many things, each having its own effect whether it is good or bad. Also what do you mean by my power is not always my own?”

He paused, which allowed John to answer.

"I dont always feel like I control my power, I have heard rumours that some mutants powers overcome them - I am just worried that will be my fate as well."

The words hit the professor and resonated with him as he had known some mutants that had happened too, he would address that in a moment.

“You should not worry John, change it to be expected, powers evolve and appearances may change but one thing remains the same, you are still you.”

This did help calm the Terra-kenetic for a moment.

Xavier took breath and paused, thinking of how best to go about things, before speaking once more:

"I can take a look for you but there is no way to tell what changes will happen or when they will happen. You just need to relax though I understand your feelings as this is something many mutants your age worry about.”

John looked down at his feet at this, he wasnt sure what the professor meant by taking a look, how could his mind reading powers work in this situation? But John wanted answers and looked at the Professor again. "Please do what you have to Professor."

the wheelchair bound mutant nodded before speaking once more:
“All I can do is help you control these powers, in turn this may help you when the time comes to those changes. John in what way do you want me to help you, do you want me to search your mind or do you want to understand your powers better? The more you know the easy it will be.”

John was actually smiling at the prospect :"Please Professor Sir, I would do anything to be in control and more confident in my own powers."

Xavier couldn't help but smile as his words had the wanted effect but motioned John over to a device which emerged from one of the bookshelves, it looked like some sort of body scanning devices, but what it scanned for the younger mutant didnt know.

"Yes, this is a body scanner, it is not 100% accurate by any stretch John, but it will give a 'most likely' outcome of how your Xgene will do, and with your current state I think we should be confident in what will happen."

John moved over to stand inside the scanner while Xavier moved over to a computer that had flipped out of the desk and started pressing buttons and warming up the scanner: A few moments passed as bright lights were emitted from the scanner as it took measurements from John before it beeped and shut down, which John took as a que to step from the machine and walk back over to the the desk where the scan results were already showing.

[i]"From what the scans are showing and your medical examination results when you first got here John, I can almost say for certain that your powers have yet more to develop, and from the course of your physical mutation, it looks like your entire skeletal structure will become stone - and everything else will become earth - but you will still be sentient and your abilities would still be yours." He clicked a button and the screen flickered and died. "As for controlling your powers, I will have a think about what sort of training would best suit you John; but I will get back to you."

John made to move towards the door, turning as he opened the door: "Thank you Professor Sir." With that John walked through the door and closed it after himself.
Jax watched as one of the girls had become aware of his presence and had reacted out of instinct running at the wall and jumping off the wall and launched herself at him, a set of claws extending from one of her hands with the other reaching for him. Although she seemed to be quick, her reflexes and instincts strong Jax still had time to move his hands to protect himself, a strong grip on each wrist allowing him to keep her hands, and more importantly those claws away from him. In the same movement he spun around a couple of times before throwing her down the hallway.

His instincts were locked onto one thing: Food and to get that he first had to survive this encounter and so his mind had already dismissed the second girl as the one he had just thrown appearing to be the more hostile one, still hovering in the air his fists came up in a traditional boxer stance, covering his nose, ready for round two... all four wings moving too quickly to discern any movement but keeping him a lift.

Spa Day, even Sarah knew that the wasn't actually anything in the danger room. She'd even fallen into a ocean at one point and marvelled that, while floating, she wasn't in the slightest bit wet. It was an odd sensation, bobbing up and down in waves that you could clearly see, even diving underneath and coming up with hair still dry and perfectly immaculate. A spa day would be quite ineffective.

Sarah chuckled at the story.

"Christians," she said, shaking her blond head, "So caught up in their myths they can't see anything for what it truly is."

Turning back towards the kettle she found herself cut off by Bloom who seemed greatly interested in being useful. So be it. Sarah was perfectly happy being served rather than serving so she relented, making a gesture with both hands, palms presented forwards to indicate her acquiescence,

X forced herself to cry out as she spun, claws gaining purchase on the floor through the expensive rug. "Ground him!" she called out to Aya, though she likely didn't need to. Discharge was a trained killer, just like her. She didn't have to read the girl's file, she could see it on her, smell it on her. Though, she hoped she had enough sense to simply stun the hovering strongman.

X slid into a three-point stance before retracting one set of hand-claws, freeing her from the floor, and extending the other. With a renewed vigor she charged again, ensuring that he wouldn't be able to concentrate on both targets at the same time. The distance closed in a few seconds and with her forward momentum she rolled onto her hands, extending one of her talons as she slashed at him with her foot in a forward somersault.

The instant that slash finished she would springboard off the ground into another dive, her hand-claws seeking the bite of metal-on-flesh. Of course she wouldn't go for a killing blow, but he wouldn't be able to maneuver as freely as she could in the hallway, not with a wingspan. The best she could hope to do was keep him busy for the moment though.
Bloom laughed as the joke finished, though she hadn't really heard a word. She knew it to be a joke, but whisperings had caught her concentration. A smile flashed as Darkshadow undoubtedly made another biting remark about something or other, the woman's crass attitude just made Bloom want to know her better. Everyone had their reasons and their secrets.

Not that she was interested in gossip, though...the plant life seemed to buzzing lightly. Leon entered as she filled the kettle up from a flash-heated water faucet, "'Ello, Fluffy. It most certainly is sushi...though, there seems to be a bit of a ruckus upstairs." She placed the tea bags in the kettle calmly, checking the time on the oven's clock before placing it lovingly on the heating pad. "It might be best if we went to break it up. The flowers are overly excited, you see."

Fortunately enough for her, she had X-men to relay the news to. She could only imagine what kind of trouble would get the flowers buzzing in such a way.

Well this was complicated, he had made for three, not six. First in the door was a woman in a Burka? Clearly a new visitor to the grounds. Now what was the response dust taught him?

"Assalamu alaykum, have you eaten? I assure you the food is lawful."

It would be hard to say if he avoided looking into her eyes or was staring right down into her soul, but he made sure he did not offer a hand in greeting. Right behind her came the residential furry bowling in after her like someone falling through a curtain on stage. Between her horrified look and the speed that he came through the door after her, there was a conclusion already in his mind.

"What the hell, Leon? You get a cat-spaz moment and mistake her clothes for drapes? Bad kitty, no sushi until you apologize."

He looked over to the others for clues or a lead when bloom mentioned an x-man going to check out the noise above.

"I'll go, keep the cat out of the fish. Welcome to the madhouse, miss."

He walked a few steps to the side to stand under a tiny marker he made in the ceiling and crouched low before springing into a back-flip. With a *BAMF* he was gone in a waft of brimstone to fill the space. One of his private trainings in the danger room was practicing teleporting through the mansion as a hard light construct so he could gain an intimate knowledge of where every inch of the school sat, committing it to muscle memory for fast movement through the school without as much risk to himself and others. As it was he went from the kitchen floor to the upper hall ceiling, grasped onto a hanging light to take in just what the hell he was walking into.
Elsewhere on the grounds was a horses stable home to quite a few fine breeds, half of the twelve stalls were full with six fine examples of their namesakes. The other six stalls were currently being mucked by a fine breed of Irish and Cherokee bloodlines. The typical cowboy with the horses, cliché if it weren't so apt who droned on as he kept himself busy.

"Give me land, lots of land. with a starry sky above. Doon't fence me inn..."

He was told to spend this time trying to use his powers in a real world application without stress like the danger room so he tried to pull the horsehockey into the bucket instead of the shovel. Well the shit hit the fan when he struggled and it suddenly flew up at him like a rattlesnake. He decided to do the rest the old fashioned way, it did well to keep him warm anyways, it was almost freezing this far up north to him who was used to hot summer nights so he was rearing his wool lined denim jacket that had seen plenty worse than that in all its years. He heard some sort of commotion going on way out there across the open flat land as the great black plane came in for a landing, but there were plenty else to handle it as he took a break for a snack.

He got a mess of apples with him earlier today from the kitchen so he took up three in each of his huge hands to treat the horses as well. He took the first bite to establish himself as alpha before offering the rest to the horse. He did this six times to get the pecking order set between him and them before six good mouths of apple set his stomach right.
He finished up the mucking and hosed out the stall before setting down new hay and food for them all so he could walk them one by one across the hall to settle them down for the night. Horses settles and stable cleaned. now it was time for him to find his way back o the mansion to get some shut eye.

Hunh... Sarah didn't know what to make of the sudden arrival of so many students. The bloody bastards always seemed to be following the rookie teams, eager to make their acquaintance in the hopes something of the rookies would rub off on them and help them become X-men themselves. In essence, she and the rest of her team were the ultimate clique. The white Bengal striped tiger person was followed by a young woman, a girl that glowed softly. You could see it around the edges of her eyes, where a small amount of flesh was exposed above the veil. You could see it, even in the light of the kitchen.

"Hey Catman," Sarah greeted him, "How's the rest of the Justice Guild?"

Then the crazy plant girl started talking about flowers gossiping like so many old ladies before Magnus just up and disappeared. He couldn't. He wouldn't. He did. The bastard left her alone with all these- freaks. That was just so unfair!

Needless to say, Aya was surprised when Laura suddenly turned and leaped of the wall to tackle some dude she didn't even realize was there. Mesmerized for a minute by Talon's graceful movements, she quickly snapped out of it and looked for an opening to zap this bastard. Of course, only when she had the chance, did Discharge realize her reserves were low. She dashed over to a nearby light and began absorbing what she could.

"Ground him" She heard Talon call out, just in time, too. Discharge had enough for what she had planned. She ran full on at the fly-boy as Talon got ready to dive at him. Just before making contact, she slid under him and released an large burst of electricity, hoping it would stun him long enough for Talon to take him out, or at the very least knock out his wings while she went to another light for a quick charge (god, I hate being so low on energy), when she heard a *BAMF* from the ceiling. Not taking her eyes from her opponent, Discharge greeted the teleporting ninja "Nice of you to check in, Blueberry. Now do ya mind moving, I need a recharge and would rather not have to smell charred smurf while I do it"...
(Tiger)

Leon hopped up on the counter as Magnus made a quick quip at his expense. "Hey, come on, man! Give me a little credit. I don't play with drapes... ... ... much" he relented, with a grin. He turned to Sarah as she made her customary cat-related greeting. This time referencing some obscure fictional hero belonging to a company no one in this mansion really cared about. "Haha, DC Comics"

He was about ready to fire back when Lina spoke up, commenting on a ruckus upstairs. Now that he was paying attention... "Yeah... I can hear it. Hey, Mag-" he began, but the teleporter was already gone "Well, that's that. Whatever it is, I'm sure he's got it covered. Now... where is that fi... oh, yeah" He just remembered why he came in here to begin with. Turning to the new girl, he decided to respect her wishes and not mention the fireworks "Nice to officially meet you, I'm Yeong Lee, but everyone calls me Leon or some cat-pun" he said, extending his hand in friendship with a big grin on his face...

Jax didnt have time to think about how quick this girl was as she was able to do a 3 point stance to avoid crashing into the wall before she came running for round two, this time she spoke:

"Ground him!"

for the time being he didnt pay too much attention as his focus was still on the girl with the claws, this was to his slight downfall as the other girl had moved and tried to do something, only for nothing to happen the first time, but the second time seemed to work, the sparks of electricity caught his wings and traveled down to his joints forcing them to fold in and to start falling out of the sky just as the first girl made contact with him so they didnt fall on the electric girl, things got even worse for Jax as the smell of brimstone filled his nose as said electric girl called in greeting to someone called Bamf.

Jax was somewhat surprised when the claws emerged from her feet as she tried to slash at him as he was falling, all he could do was try and grab at her ankles to stop the girl from cutting him up.

by this time he had hit the floor, just inches from shock girl as he started to wonder about mutant number 3 and what his and shock girls fighting skills were...

Ha Ha, DC comics? Sarah frowned. Most of the X-students enjoyed comic books. Maybe he was just sick of her humour. Most read DC, Image or Darkhorse. Nobody in the school read Marvel anymore, particularly since the X-Men series was cancelled due to the protestors outside the company's doors.. The Marvel company had begun drawing the stories of real life heroes like the Avengers but the general public simply didn't like how Marvel portrayed the X-Men and mutants in general as either misunderstood heroes or victims. They wanted their mutants to be villains, like they were in real life. Hah! Real life, how little they knew.

She was about to comment on the conversation when a tall, lanky young man stepped into the kitchen carrying a black coffee cup with the X-Men logo on it a quarter way full of water. . He'd come in from the porch it seemed, and his pale face beneath his auburn hair was dripping wet as was his shirt, a shirt depicting the autobot symbol. She'd heard about them too, supposedly a race of robots that hid amongst the people of Earth by disguising themselves as cars. Hah! That was bloody unlikely. Alien robots from another world? The conspiracy was that the New World Order created the television show to cover up any sightings of the robots.

"Excuse me," the six foot youth said as he pressed his way through the assembled throng, "Pardon me."

Then he came face to face with Sarah and just stopped dead in his tracks. Sarah loved that effect she had on boys, how they just stopped and stared even when they knew to expect her. Sebastian, for that was this youth's name, often stammered when he tried to speak to her as well. It was so cute. She highly suspected that, despite his attractive appearance, that he was still a virgin. He was training to be an X-Man far too hard to be anything else. The boy ran a marathon each day, lifted weights, trained constantly and never stopped studying. The boy was going to burn himself out at this rate. She would have so much fun curing him of that particular affliction and he'd be better from it to boot.

"Uh... Hi Dar...Sarah," he said meekly, and Sarah wondered what he was thinking, "Just need to... uh.... refill my cup."

Sarah couldn't resist playing with the poor idiot.

"Are you sure?" she asked, "There's orange juice and other stuff in there. You should check out those *jugs*."

With the last she put her slender arms beneath her bosom and gave it additional support as she leaned over the counter

"I uh... It's not for drinking..." he said, trying to find the words, his hazel eyes trying to look in every direction but at Sarah, "it's for practice. I... uh... I gotta go. Babyface needs his diaper changed and you know how cranky he gets."

Sarah chuckled mirthfully as the boy flushed crimson and turned about. She delighted in tormenting him. He really was too sensitive for his own good. How did one hit eighteen years of age, or however old he was, and still be so shy and naïve? He quickly skirted back in the direction he came from, eager to get away from Sarah as fast as he could.

[OOC: Yes, there is a Marvel Comics company in the Marvel universe. They're a middling struggling company that bases their stories on the real heroes of Earth 616 and they apparently get it wrong more often then they get it right. There was an X-Men comic as well but it was cancelled for the reasons I mentioned above ]

X felt some of the shock go through her system as her grabbed her ankle. She fell with him, bringing her combat boot down right over where his solar plexus should be, in an attempt to wind him. There was no real way to know what sort of effect this would have, his anatomy (and identity for that matter) were a complete mystery. For all she knew it might be akin to stomping on the sidewalk. If that was the case, she was in a particularly tough position, considering this mutant of considerable strength had his grip on her.

It was something of a rush to fight an opponent one had no data on. The rush was someone mitigated by the fact that she had one, no...two allies. Bamf had appeared, it was only a matter of time before more showed up. She wondered to herself why the defenses hadn't picked him up. Perhaps it was an inside job? The speculating could wait. She wondered for a moment if she was going to have to re-attach her leg if this interloper should decide to tear it from the socket.

"YIELD!" She barked with anger-fed gravitas almost directly at his face. The three of them would have no problem taking him down, but she had no real desire to injure the rogue.
Bloom watched the big man enter and leave, a bright smile spread across her lips for no discernable reason. Her head moved from him to Sarah as they spoke, she giggled lightly and set the kettle on the table. She moved back around to the counter, standing between the cat and the sushi.

Apple's tattooed hand gave the quiet, covered up one a soft wave for a greeting, before turning back to Sarah as the big auburn-headed boy left. "You're gonna' give that boy heart problems like that," she said with an amused mien.

Magnus took it all in in a moment: two front-line fighters had this guy on the ground in the womens ward of the school, best to be of real use. Given the hour it would be easy to guess where she was. *BAMF* ...She isn't here. Magnus found himself in a womans room with no woman. She must have left with the others on the mission while he was unloading the unconscious cargo. Next on the hit parade. *BAMF* "AH! Get out!" *BAMF* He had to make the pit stop in another's room for the shortcut needed and got a brush to the side of his head for it.

*BAMF* "Intruder, no alarms, Talon, Aya, NOW!"

He latched onto the man and with their combined weight he didn't need the shortcut. *BAMF* Now before the three on the floor was the worlds most powerful telepath wreathed in the black smoke from the bowels of hell. Magnus couldn't wait to see this guy get reduced to a pile of tapioca pudding.

Xavier: "Greetings, I am Charles Xavier. Welcome to the Institute for higher learning."
As he found himself heading home for the night, Johnny cash came into his mind as he plodded on.

"Well, look down yonder Gabriel, put your feet on the land and see
But Gabriel don't you blow your trumpet 'til you hear it from me
There ain't no grave can hold my body down
Ain't no grave can hold my body down "

He felt the bite of night on his face, the smell of the grass and the lake, the taste of well, a pink of hockey he missed on his bottom lip. But what he saw left him stunned, a shooting star came out the window of the mansion up on into the sky where it fired off into the sky like fireworks before firing down into the lake and making it glow like gods own grace to light back up the sky. Just as soon as it came, it shot off again back into the manor just as the jet that came back home took off again.

"Assalamu alaykum?" murmured Asha in a bit of confusion. What did that mean again? It was a kind of greeting... ah, yes, Arabic! Maybe... Wait, did she look arabic? She glanced down at herself and sort of spun like a dog trying to catch its tail. Oh... He had thought she was arabic because of her clothes... She turned three shade of sparkling pink, not that the others were notice much. She glanced up, her eyes locking with the rather seductive female in the room. Well, maybe everyone but her... She had sharp eyes.

Another male sort of trudged through the group of them in the kitchen. He was very...tall. Very tall. He stumbled over his words so much he almost sounded impaired... He wasn't a drinker was he? She hoped not. It was such a harmful thing to the body... Another glance made her assess the female decorated in tattoos. Her grin made her seem easy going. At most this person would probably be better to get along with. People with airy personalities usual were like that, hiding dangerous tempers. She did remind her of flowers though...

*BAMF* She jumped looked to see where the noise had come from. Oh... The mutant she had been staring at was gone. Oh... It was probably her fault. She'd probably made him uncomfortable. Maybe she'd apologize sometime... Well, if he'd even stick around to hear the apology. It was sort of disheartening... He was like a mirror image to her, imprinted with darkened skin and eyes, like she was with unending starlight. And it didn't seem that he liked her much.

Asha shrunk back towards the door. She felt a bit sheepish, as if she were somehow the cause of them leaving. It probably wasn't the case, but she hadn't seem to be making too many friends lately. The giant cat tried to speak to her again. Yeong Lee... Her eyes changed a in a myriad of colors as she looked at the hand...paw...hand, he had extended. She was not used to people actually wanting to touch her. In fact, all who had seen her after she had mutated wanted the exact opposite, recoiling from her in fear and disgust. Asha hesitated, but slowly lifted up her hand and took his. Those star soaked eyes looked up at the others and she withdrew her hand after a gentle shake.

"Erm...Asha...is my name," she murmured softly, "I hope I do not disrupt again... I hope to be friends with you all... Yeong Lee... perhaps tomorrow... Er, I am tired.... I will go to sleep now." Her sentences were short and almost breathless. It was a lot to take in. They were a hive of activity, buzzing here and there, talking, laughing, joking. It was not something she was very used to. Yes, she had once gone to school and had friends and been a busy body. But after being in something a kin to isolation, with only hatred flung her way... It seemed she was more damaged from her family's so called protection than from the mutation itself.

So much noise. It was dizzying. And it was hot. So stifling and suppressing... Being around all this, it made it harder to say wrapped in light blocking cloth. Especially when it was so thick. Unconsciously, she took off a glove and brushed a glowing hand over her eyes. The lights flickered before sending off a shot of arching starlight up at the ceiling. Asha jumped and stumbled back. No... dammit... she was trying to make friends, not freak people out. She shoved the glove back on, but didn't dare look up at the other mutant. Seemed that once she discovered a new branch to her 'gift' it would get harder and harder to suppress. The ceiling was cracked a bit and had a burn mark on it.

She mumbled an apology and went to the fridge and grabbed two water bottles. She then rummaged through the shelves until she found a large mixing bowl. Putting the bowl under her arm, she marched back to the door. Hesitating she turned briskly and gave them all a kind of curtsying bow, like she had been taught was polite for a mutant like her to do instead of troubling others.
"I apologize," she said softly, before turning to walk out the door. Once she had the door behind her she flushed with embarrassment and marched away from the group, every step leading away from them getting more hurried and quickening.

She had burnt their ceiling. How had she done that?! It was starlight, not fire! Well, it hadn't caught on fire so... Maybe it was like getting a sunburn. The sun was a giant star, right? But then why did the night sky make her feel more energized than the sun? Maybe... it was the multitude of stars. The Sun was only one star, but the night sky had so many. And they always imprinted her skin too. It was difficult for her to try to figure out. Nothing made much sense to her anymore.

Why had she gone in there anyway. Making people uncomfortable and giving their ceiling a starlight-burn and being mistaken for arabic and... She sighed. This was not going very well... But then again it was partially her fault. Well, mostly her fault. She was so...scared of everything. Of herself. Or hurting others. Of being rejected by the other...like with the 'bamf' guy... Asha let out a sigh and trudged back down to the lake. She need to calm down. To relax. So she could actually try to get to know the others without running away.

But first she needed to meditate. Well, that's what she called it anyway. Finding a nice spot on the side of the lake, she put down the mixing bowl and emptied the two water bottles into it. Ugh, these clothes... They made everything harder. She shed gloves and head coverings. If she could just calm down...maybe she'd be able to stick around to actually have conversations with the others. Her glowing and gleaming face was a mask of self disappointment and disgust as she stared at her reflection. No. She had to stop that. The others didn't hate themselves. They didn't hate how different they were. If she wanted to be like them, she'd have to start acting like them. No more Asha the Mouse. What had mama said? 'My starry-eyed daughter...' There had been no disgust in those words. Just love.

"Starry-Eyed," she murmured, looking down at the still water in the bowl. Her reflection stared back at her. And this time she didn't see a glowing evil creature. Just a girl imprinted with a galaxy's worth of stars. And it was...sort of...beautiful... The naked human eye could never see all of the stars and colors in the night sky. But all of it was soaked into her every cell, bursting out of her, raging against the suppression she always had it under. Maybe suppressing it wasn't as good as she always thought it had been. Maybe it only made her worse. More unstable. She had shot a starlight stream of colors at the ceiling just trying the wipe off her brow...

And Starry-Eyed could make friends. She hadn't always been so meek and cowardly. If Asha couldn't, Starry-Eyed could. It was why she had been sent here anyway. Her hair floated up around her head in a rainbow-like halo of glittering stars. Staring down at the still water like it was a mirror, she looked past herself and at the sky reflected in the water. So she must be like this. Reflecting the stars, magnifying them, streaming them through her every cell... It...might not be so bad... She might not be so bad. Putting a hand to her cheek, the girl in that reflecting water smiled... And the halo of colors around her sparked and swirled.
