Kyle nodded, "got it we found out next safe house for now it isn't much, but it's something." As he said it he got the place ready for the other soldiers, it was a warehouse in the middle of downtown Chicago. By this time of day he should have been hearing the honking of horns, but the street was quiet.
"Alright," Elliot said as she looked down at the sleeping Jacob, "We'll be there soon."
She kept running her hand through his hair. He was in need of a haircut still. She laughed a little, silly man. She smiled as she continued to look at his sleeping face. She was happy to be in love with this man. Her hand ran along the side of his face, then neck, resting on his chest. Her other hand remained tangled in his hair as she looked at him. She hoped he'd wake soon....

Jacobs head hurt, that was the first thing his mind registered. couldnt have been something else that had to hurt he thought to himself. He let out a groan as he opened his eyes, he expected to be where the robots were, but instead he was in a truck his head in Elliot's lap. "Well now getting knocked out was worth it if I get to see your face every time I wake up." He laughed.
Elliot looked down at him and laughed, "Good. You're okay."
She leaned over and kissed him, smiling at him, "I was worried you were going to be mad that you didn't get to run out of there guns a blazing."
She didn't move to help him off, she didn't mind him on her lap and he could still be weak from when she knock him out. She continued to run her hand threw his hair and smiled, "Kyle found a safe house downtown... Said that it isn't much though..."
The soldiers in the front seat stared straight ahead, ignoring them. Which Elliot was slightly thankful for. She smiled at him, "We can share a room... To avoid taking up space... If you want to..."

Jacob smiled at the thought, "I would've liked doing that guns blazing but then we would have robots on us I don't think Kyle would be really happy if we brought a whole army of robots with us." He thought for a moment, "yah I would really like that sharing a room, I don't think I would be mad as long as I got to see your face when I woke up if I didn't then I would be mad."
Elliot laughed a little at him, "Well, aren't you a romantic."
The truck slowed to a stop and the two men climbed out. Elliot looked through the windshield to see that arrived at what she supposed to be the safe house. She patted Jacob's chest and opened her door. She held his head up as she climbed out from under him and out of the truck. Placing it on the seat, she leaned over him and smiled, "Do you need some help getting out of the truck?"

Jacob chuckled a little, "no not at all." He sat up and climbed out himself, as he landed he saw Kyle running toward him and hugged him. "I'm alright Kyle there's nothing to fear," Kyle put Jacob at arms length again and looked him up and down, "your bleeding from your temple." Jacob finally realized that was the source of the pain, "no wonder my head hurts."
Elliot swore, "Oh god! I didn't even see it! I was too busy thinking about getting you out of there," She looked at Kyle, "Get him inside, I'll grab my bag and patch him up."
She turned and ran back to the truck, cursing to herself. She grabbed her bag and pulled it onto her shoulder before running back and finding Jacob. She placed her bag down in front of him and grabbed her alcohol cloth before gingerly cleaning out the blood. She looked at him, "I'm sorry I didn't see it soon."
She shook her head and grabbed a needle and quickly sterilized it before she sat on Jacob's lap and turned his head to the side to stitch him up. When she was done, she covered it with a cotton bandage and sighed, resting her forehead against his shoulder, "I'm an idiot.... I should have checked you over for injuries... Bloody hell, you were bleeding... I should have seen that...."

Jacob smiled a bit, "not entirely your fault Ellie should have told you sooner." He put his arms around her, "not the first time you've missed an injury like this I think it was about three times you missed a couple of injuries on me I'm used to it by now." He shifted his weight on the bed, making sure she didn't have to move when he did it.
Elliot looked at him, "One... I knocked you out before you really have the chance and Two... Just because it has happened before does not make me feel better," She laughed and kissed his nose. She wrapped her arms around his neck and remained lying on top of him. She relaxed against him and looked around the room, "So? Is this our new room?"
It was nice. Bigger than her old room but only by a little. There was a closet and another door that she assumed to be the washroom, but other than a dresser, the room was completely bare. She looked at Jacob, "It looks like when Kyle comes angrily knocking on the door... You'll have to face him...... By the way... Was he really that angry about what you said the other day... Jacob laughed, "no not really more like a joke I played on him I totally forgot about that last night. I replaced his boots with high heels and his cameo outfit with a dress," he laughed. "That was why he was mad at me he wouldn't tell anyone that was the reason so he wouldn't get laughed at I'm the only one besides you now that was the reason he was mad."
Elliot laughed and smacked his chest, "That's just cruel, Jacob!" She kissed his neck before rolling off of him and onto the bed besides him. She looked at him and sighed, "You should get some sleep. You must be tired." She sat up and looked around the room. None of their things, other than Elliot's medical bag came with them from the old hideout.... Which meant she had no clean clothes other than the ones she wore on her back. She took off her shirt and walked over to the door and closed it. She looked back at Jacob as she took off her pants, "No funny ideas, mister. You need sleep."
She folded the clothes and climbed under the blankets. She just didn't want to have to sleep in the clothes she'd have to live in.

Jacob laughed, "yah like that's going to happen." He pulled his boots and shirt off, climbing under himself. He turned onto his side facing Elliot "I missed this a lot, just you and me laying by each other waking up to a warm embrace and other things." He said as he put his arm around Elliot's waist.
Elliot smiled as he wrapped his arm around her and scooted closer to him. She lay there, her face centimetres from his and gave him a kiss, "I missed you."
She placed her hands on his chest and took a deep breath, "You scared me though.... I thought I was going to lose you... like you did me...." She buried her face in his neck, "I'm so glad that I found you," She kissed his neck again before looking up at him. She wrapped a leg around his and smiled at him, "Get some sleep... Please...."

Jacob gave her a sleepy smile, before he closed his eyes and his breathing evened. It had been a long time since he ever had gotten a peaceful sleep like this. Every time he tried to sleep without Elliot around he had nightmares of the day they took her, not tonight though he guessed it was because he had her by him.
Elliot smiled at Jacob drifted off to sleep. She leant forward and kissed his forehead before she relaxed in his arms. She watched him as she lay there for sometime. He was so calm and serene. After sometime of lying there, she yawned and placed her head against his chest. She closed her eyes and sighed. It took her a while to get to sleep, but when she did, she was out cold. She wasn't worried about the robots and didn't wake through the nights. She slept soundly.

Jacob woke in the morning, like always he woke up early. He saw Elliot curled up on him, she must've done it during the night. He didn't move fearing that any movement would wake her from her sleep. He had had a good sleep for once in a year, which wasn't surprising since Elliot was beside him.
Elliot woke sometime later to find Jacob still lying next to her, however, he was awake. She ran a hand through her hair and yawned, "Morning."
She made no movement to leave the safety of his arms and continued to curl up against him. She gave him a quick kiss and smiled at him, "How long have you been awake?" Surely, it wasn't too long. After all, he was just laying there watching her. Sleeping Elliot couldn't be that interesting.

Jacob looked at her, "morning, a few minutes haven't been up that long." He rolled over onto his side facing her. "You know I missed these mornings on just watching you sleep and you beside me the thing I missed the most was you."
Elliot laughed and placed her hand on his face before she kissed him, "You always were a bit funny in the morning," She yawned, "I got to watch you sleep last night. Who'd have thought that man was leading a resistance."
She kissed him again, "I missed you too..." She pushed him back onto his back as she leaned over him and kissed him again, "But I don't have to miss you anymore. I get wake up every morning with you."
She looked at his bandaging and smiled, "I'll need to change that later.... Maybe when I give you your haircut," She teased.
