Hey, one of my friends is having issues loading the site. When they type in the URL, or use a bookmark, the site shows up as a white screen for them, but when they follow a link the site loads fine. While troubleshooting we've ruled out many thing, including browser glitches (including cookies, adblockers and bad installs), hardware issues, router and modem problems, location problems (unless Florida is a deadzone for some reason), and IP incompatibility (which is almost never a problem, but you never know).

honestly I'm stumped, which is a rare feeling for me, so if anyone could shed some light on this it would help.

Interesting.

Questions that come to mind:

- In which browsers does this happen to them? All of them? Just Chrome or Firefox? Safari?
- What kind of computer/device are they using? And what OS?
- Does it happen every single time? Just sometimes?
- So, typing "http://roleplayerguild.com" into the browser and hitting Enter lands on a blank page but clicking a link to the Guild from Google search will work?
- Does this happen on all the computers/devices they own?

Thanks for passing the word along.

answers i know:
She tried Safari, Firefox and chrome
both a Mac and a PC, i don't know what iOS version the Mac is running but i'm pretty sure her PC is on Win7
she says it's been happening for a while now, and she hasn't been able to get on by herself at all.
I don't think so. she says that she can only follow links other people give her but i didn't ask about google. it also affects bookmarks.
every device she owns, plus on other networks.
