Incidentally, to the rest of you. The GM job in here is to help you guys brainstorm your way into participation as a means to encourage posting, so that means if you feel stuck, we should talk about it because the GM's can provide ideas on how to get unstuck.

Not that it actually takes place in the Ancient Greek world/myths, but I'm sort of clued in on that (being silly enough to study it at university) if you want to get the feel right.

Well, Lymaeus was the earth goddess. Ventu sired Aroesus and the rest of the brood on the stars and the skies.

I don't want a full powered Titan rolling around though -- Lymaeus withdrew from the world in her grief and Ventu's gone. A lot of other deities have been ground down by the rule of Aroesus. The two options have been to accept, however unwillingly, the rule of the Pantheon and a place in it, even if ceremonial and empty, or to be put into Malebazus, probably imprisoned in Lake Sharzunates. That could be pinned to an island, chained beneath the lake's surface or buried under a mountain. Aroesus was a dick and did not react well to threats.

That's what I meant. The titan would be put on a bus somewhere out of the way- imprisoned or something similar. I really only wanted it as a bit of flavour, though, as I didn't think my concepts really work out so well as normal deities...

Okay, I have two ideas:

1. God of power, energy, the sun, beginnings, birth, loyalty, honour and passion (i.e. extremely strong emotions).
I feel that there could be too much overlap here with Sileon, however, so feel free to ask me to change some things if you feel that it would be appropriate.

2. God of stars, the cosmos, endings, cold, death, corruption, stagnation, despair, determination, parasites, loneliness and dullness.
I think there is some small overlap with other gods, but I got the impression that a small amount was okay- if not, I can just remove the specific domains.

Which do you think would be better in this roleplay? If you think either of them need improvements, please tell me their weaknesses so I can work on them...

I don't think there's a sun-god- at least, not one that I could find in the CS thread.

However, if you feel it's too similar, please tell me which parts so I can edit it to be more original (or tell me if it's the whole concept so I can pick the star god instead).

I'm fairly certain that there isn't a sun god, either.

Though Sileon does take the form of a "burning fury" hard-assed god, so you'd probably want to rework the other associations.

That said, the other associations have considerable overlap with Lefredias, Nanaeios and Mikazliqui.

Sun/Moon are open (It'd be nice if maybe there was a duality there)
Oceans are very open
Disease and Pestilence and so forth is an open concept
Youth, music, beauty, love...all open.

Okay, so I'll pick the Sun-god, with the domains of the Sun (obviously), power, energy, heat (I know it has overlap with Sileon, but it seemed kind of silly to be god of the Sun but have no connection to heat) loyalty, honour, gold, light and beginnings (as the sunrise would signify the start if the day- I was thinking the god/ess of the moon could be patron of endings, as the moonrise signifies the end of the day).

Just as clarification, I'll be god of the power, energy and light, but not fire or anything fire-related. Energy here doesn't have overlap with fire, and the vast majority of traits will be focused on light and energy.

Of course, as ever feel free to ask me to remove certain domains. Oh, and please tell me if you think I'm too overpowered; I'm somewhat paranoid in that regard...

EDIT- oh, and I wouldn't be a 'god'- I was thinking of being a part of the pantheon of gods that was overthrown. However, this is based on information that I believe was created a while ago, so it could be out of date.

Oh, really? So sorry. How about I'm god of military loyalty? As in fighting for your side, and never changing sides/being bought off- I really meant loyalty as an add-on to honour. If it really comes down to it, I can just remove the domain and just say that I'm naturally loyal.
