Honestly it is best to have the gm post first and set the tone. Someone else might take too many 'creative liberties' and fuck with some of the particulars. This is your show and you know the specifics of how you want things to proceed. It's best for you to start.

@Azkott I like that. That we're on a destroyer and then we all find our way from certain death to a contest of survival on a ferocious planet.
Until we meet up all together in one group on that planet it seems we'll all have our own version of "The New Testament".
From what took down the star destroyer and how we had to manage through it, to the escape pods- or found fighters own lil collective to the planet.
And of course our third-person view of how we managed to assemble.

What with the escape pods probably ending up anywhere it'll be a while before we manage to make it to one another, or the rendezvous.

We could either have some sort of out of balance threat attack the destroyer from the planet. Meaning when we crash land the planet's already at war with whatever's left of our legion of killers.

Or that we had a base once already on the planet but its been decades since of use so the planet (this fucking fierce inhabited jungle kind) possessed it and we have to reclaim it from their claws and behemothed minds!

There're so many situations. This is perfect to bring to light what exactly we can do on our own.

Some of our characters may have the advantage in the survival situation because the technician could do a decent bit more with an escape pod, the scouts are used to many environments and spotting things and the EVO trooper has special equipment... That poor naval commando.

@Anarchy Yeah - I'm not really sure why they're called Navy Commandos. On the wookiepedia article it doesn't seem to say anything about them being elite soldiers or anything like that so it's kind of weird they'd have that title. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Stormtrooper classification: Imperial Shock Trooper [BF:II style]

Military Ranking: Private First Class(?)

Nickname: Lancer

Race/species: Human

Planetary Origin: Tatooine

Gender: Male

Armor appearance: The only difference between the normal Shock Trooper Armour and Lance's, is the painted Dewback on the side of his helmet and his left shoulder.

Personality: TBA

Appearance: Underneath the white piece of protection that stands between him and his enemies, you'll find normal sized human with blonde hair, no facial hair, green eyes and tanned skin that clearly shows exposure to a sun.

History: Born and raised on Tatooine, Lance did not have an easy childhood; one that predictably led him to an early life of crime. Simple theft led to a series of other crimes, but the one that got the attention of an Imperial Sand Trooper was his attempt to hot-wire a Speeder Bike. Safe to say, he didn't get away with it, and was swiftly arrested.

Then he got a choice; serve even longer in an Imperial prison, or serve the Empire's cause. Though he initially preferred the first, he picked the one that didn't involve him staring at a wall for the rest of his life. He joined the Imperial forces as a "voulenteer", but as it turned out, he enjoyed shooting rebels/criminals/smugglers etc. and getting promoted for it.

So how did he end up with that big rocket launcher on his shoulder? It's safe to say that he didn't ask kindly for it; he was strong enough to carry it, precise enough to hit something with it and not afraid to blow someone to bits. That, and the previous owner was shot dead during a Rebel ambush.

Oh no, it's just we were thinking on who would do best if every character started off in escape pods on a random planet.

By the way, though the scout troopers will probably thrive (they're basically handpicked survival experts), remember that that stormtrooper suit is basically a self contained environment. Ofcourse, without knowledge of the jungle, anyone is liable to die.

oh but it is. To die in this game is to die in reality. Someone will be reading this rp, and stalk down whoever has their characters killed.
