Raphael sighed, "there really aren't any rules in love you just go by instinct, that's what I've been doing all this time really." He looked at her"like I said you can do what you want with me find out how far is to far I won't resist you but like I said love is based on instinct."

Jackie hums softly thinking about it and then decided not to and just do what felt right. "I'll stop whenever you tell me so." She said with a smile exploring him with her fingertips from his face downward keeping in detail everything she saw at the moment needing every second of it ingrained in her mind. She then leaned forward and placed her lips onto the pulse point in his neck feeling it jump under the touch awed that she could cause the same reactions in him as he had in her. How incredibly fascinating.

Raph felt his heart speed up when she placed her lips on his neck, he didn't say a word enjoying that Jackie hands were tracing everything in his profile. He didn't stop her from what she wanted, he would let he enjoy herself while she could at the moment.

And enjoy Jackie had her arms around his shoulders as their positions on the bed had switched during the night as she learned and taught. She looked up at Raph a mixture of awe and slight tiredness in her eyes, relaxing as he lay there next to her, her fingertips once more traced his jaw his faint beard tickling her a bit. She knew she was close to being asleep, knowing that as soon as she drifted, by the morning rays, she wouldn't feel his warmth there any more, but it faded away within her peaceful feeling. This was too precious to waste on thoughts as dark as those had been. She just relaxed a soft smile on her lips one full of contentment.

Raph had his arm, around Jackie he was on his side facing her. His hand tracing her neck and jaw, he was trying to memorize this very moment. He didn't want to forget it not one bit, slowly he pulled Jackie toward him. He didn't want any space between them, not with him leaving in the morning as it was.

Jackie was pulled closer to Raph and she giggles softly snuggling close as she could having no gaps in-between them her eyes shutting. "I love you." Jackie said softly her tone signifying that she was falling asleep yet would be awake for another minute. No more.

Raph smiled, "I know Jackie I love you too." His voice said he was on the verge of falling asleep, but he didn't want to. His body wanted him to while his mind was to wired to fall asleep. Still he knew that his body would soon take over and make him sleep.

Jackie sleepily smiles and mutters a soft, "Good." As she drifted finally to sleep her mind leaving her in peace for she would need the tranquility when she woke.

By morning Raph was up , getting his gear on for the trip he was about to make. He wouldn't leave Jackie without leaving her a note, no way was he one of those who left without leaving a trace to the one he loved. He looked at Jackie, and let his fingers trace over her cheeks.

Dear Jackie,

I know I have left early before you woke up, believe me when I say this. I really didn't want to leave you not yet not ever, Jackie you've got to be strong while I'm gone for me in anyway you can. I hope I won't be gone for long, I hope to return from Jericho, the city of assassins as soon as I can to come back to you. Please just keep me in your thoughts while I'm gone, I don't want you to forget me and I won't forget you. Jackie you will always be in my heart, no matter what dangers come at me I will think of you. Here I also wanted you to have this, this was my real mothers ring it will show you how much I love you.

He put his mothers ring in the case, and set it by the letter. Raph smiled a little, then he looked back at Jackie . Before he climbed out the window running toward the stables by roof top he knew he would be gone by the time Jackie woke up.

It was a bit after the sun rose, and that's when Jackie's body said for her to wake up, although she didn't particularly feel up to it, but she should knowing he'd be gone. She opened her eyes not disappointed, sadness filling her being as she got up and dressed in trousers not feeling up to the many ties of a dress for it got annoying. She found the letter and the case. She held the case to her heart, it squeezing as tears came out of her eyes and fell down her cheeks. She then read the note with a hand and then when finished put it down staring at nothing surprised at just how deeply his love ran for her. "Please, whoever is listening: gods old and new, I beg of you bring him back to me safe. Please." She prayed as she placed the ring onto her promised finger bringing it to her lips and kissing it feeling her world tattering on shattering. But she had to carry on. Find the strength for him to keep going until he came back. She would believe with all her heart that he was.

Raph was just getting into Jericho, he got off the horse handing the reins to another person then started walking toward the castle. Where Ogden was he had to confront him about this, if he didn't he would be hunted for the rest of his life. Of course Raph wanted none of that, he walked into the court yard to see apprentices practicing all the moves an assassin needs to survive.

Zacharias saw his daughter coming downstairs wearing trousers a smile on his lips. She looked about ready to take on the world with just her hands at her disposal, while also looking a whole lot like he had when he found out that his wife wasn't going to make the birthing of his son. "What's wrong?" He asked automatically.
"He went to find the ones that planted evidence that he had done a crime he didn't commit. I think he wants answers. I couldn't deny him that." Jackie answers sitting down to eat breakfast not that hungry that morning.

Raph got to Ogdens office, "did you kill your target?" Raph heal looked at him, "you wanted me to kill an innocent person what are you afraid of?" Ogden got out of his chair facie him, "I'm not scared of anyone I just need zacharias to find out about this place I'm doing it to keep us safe." Raph looked at him, "by me killing an innocent Ogden you know the creed I'll die if I kill her," Ogdens eyes widened. "You love her," he jumped and attacked Raph, he swung his sword to block Ogdens.

Jackie took her puppy Killian outside after introducing him to her father getting the okay to have the dog. She didn't want to spend the days waiting and hoping. She would just continue on until proof came of Raphael's death. She shook her head clearing it of its thoughts, not wanting to dwell on them, for otherwise she would cry. She traveled with Henry down the street wary that any other assassin would be out here trying to finish the job. He promised he'd come back. That's all I have to believe in. For Raph was a man of his word. Unless mortally wounded, he would go through hell and high water to make sure he came back.

Raph kept parrying ad dodging, trying to see an opening in ogdens defense. He couldn't find one, not yet he would keep fighting till he couldn't stand anymore. He would try with everything he had to go back to Jackie, he would walk through waters go through hell and back. Just to get back to her side, ogdens sword almost had hit him till he rolled out of the way.

"You sure traveling in the open is wise miss Jackie?" Henry asked.
"Probably not. But I ain't gonna just sit inside all day. That isn't who I am." Jackie answered with a small shrug. She would worry about herself later but right now she wanted to enjoy her day. She thought she was doing an okay job, not dropping to the ground in tears like she wanted to.

Raph and Ogden were matching each other stroke for stroke, that was until he broke through Raph's defense and cut an X on his cheek. Raph jumped back, and touched where he had been cut. He went forward again, Ogden circling him like he was his prey, Ogden charged Raph deflected the blow and brought his hidden blade into Ogden stomach. "Have fun in hell," Ogden collapsed on the floor.

Jackie sat there at one of her father's jobs, listening to one of the coworkers tell her what was going on. She needed reports, things that needed repairing, things that needed to change to make way as the world moved forward, and every minute tried not to think about the fact that Raphael could be lying dead somewhere. Every time she had a moment to herself that's what her minds eye pictured. Him lying on the ground bleeding. She shivered once more distracting herself. "He's fine, he'll be back." She repeated the mantra over and over and over again.

Raph was bleeding he knew that, it wasn't fatal but it hurt like hell when they had him bandaged up. He need to let Jackie know he was alright in some way, he then remembered his old eagle messenger bird. He quickly grabbed a pen and a piece of paper.

Dear Jackie,

I am alright just.letting you know, but the city's surrounded that's what the scouts are telling me, it looks like there is going to be a big battle going on in a few hours if you can. Tell anyone that will listen that Jericho and the assassins need help, if they start refusing tell them that we the assassins will work under the kings order and no one else's. Just hurry things will turn bad for us in a few hours we have civilians living in this city as well. Men, women, and children that will but killed if we can't hold here I hope this letter finds you.

He told the bird where to fly and what to look for, as he put the letter in the note holder on the eagles back. He knew everything hung in the balance, if that letter did not reach her then this city would be destroyed if it did he hoped that reinforcements would show up and soon. Raph got to his feet and let the bird take off toward its destination, the sword had struck him in his shoulder it wasn't fatal of course but it hurt.

Jackie looked up as she heard an eagle's cry in the sky stopping as she was walking home extending her hands as the eagle came closer, it landing in her arm, causing the talons to dig into her skin. She hissed at the pain, but otherwise there was no outward sign she was in any discomfort taking what seemed to be a message attached to the eagle. She hesitatingly caresses the eagle's feathers with its body. "Aren't you beautiful then?" She said partly in wonder as she read the message. She sighs in relief tears dripping down her eyes. She quickly got some parchment and a pen quickly writing down her reply.
Dear Raphael,
You had me worried for a bit, but rest assured, I'll get a message to the king post haste. After all, I do seem to have luck on my side as it gave me you. Wait just a little longer. Help will most definitely come.

Jacqueline She then attached the letter to the eagle. "Get this to him quickly yeah? And thank you." She said thanking the bird as it took off, a new purpose. She had to get a message to the king. She went home getting supplies. "DAD! I have to go to the palace. NOW!" She shouted a gleeful smile on her lips. She was beginning to enjoy this, a hectic lifestyle.
