Muttonhawk Let Slip the Corgis of War

Member Seen 5 hrs ago

Alright, I think I struck the main points I wanted with this scene. You can end it whenever you feel like. There will be other conversations that happen behind the scenes, including a proper heavy private conversation between Ariel and Sabine that will provide some support Sabine needs. However, that would be a long solo writing exercise and I would rather get other stuff moving. I'm sure you can fill in the blanks for how that kind of scene would play out anyway!

All the same, where to next? Are we moving onto the parallelling of Fendros and Ahnasha's in-law meet-up with Kaleeth's tribal reunion now?

Just so posts don't get too long, I'll wait until one scene ends to continue the last.

Fair enough. It sounds like we'll be controlling plenty of characters each in Fendros, Ahansha, and Rhazii's scene on its own. Doing both of the others at once would be a lot to think about.

We don't have to make a new scene catching Meesei up on the goings on. They'll just be waiting for a couple of hours, so that time can be summarised.

Thanks to some note taking and the search function, I found some useful indices.

Ahnasha reunited with her family at Leyawiin on page 132. Fendros and Ahnasha's wedding ceremony was on page 243.

Incidentally, Lorag's last interaction with Narsi and Harriet was also nearby on page 246.

I suppose this would be a good chance to switch to Janius and Kaleeth for the moment, if you didn't have anything else for Fendros and Ahnasha. Could go back to them once one of the other scenes conclude.

Sounds good. I didn't really have much more planned until Ahnasha's family arrives.

Where should we go to next with the Cheydinhal bit? We could summarise to the picnic at the lake, or if you wanted Fendros to run into Ahnasha's folks alone first and have to deal with that momentarily we could do that. Alternatively, we could skip back over to what Narsi and Lorag are up to.

I did have something of interest for Ahnasha and Rhazii's hunt. Did you have anything specific in mind for Narsi?

We can probably skip ahead to Julan's rite. With all the other things happening, I suppose we should not linger too long on anything superfluous.

Fair enough. I don't know when it'll be held, so I'll let you summarise up to that point. Janius will want to follow up with Kaleeth regarding Reanaseer, though.

Alright, so now that I've finished laughing, quick question: Kaleeth and Janius have given Julan 'the talk', right?

Probably, I'd imagine. He might not have really understood, having never felt attracted to anyone

I had an idle thought today. I wonder if lycan regeneration would mess with the tattoos that Kaleeth's tribe puts on themselves?

If it does, I'm not sure if it would come across Kaleeth and Janius' minds. Might be a source of contention if Julan earns his marks.

They might need to maintain their look with really major injuries and such, though lycans probably wouldn't get scars as often.
