When you guys say Phoenix you're not talking about the Phoenix that saved Jean Grey's life after the shuttle crash. You're talking about the Dark Phoenix, devour of stars and destroyer of planets. The original Phoenix when she first appeared didn't have the kind of power that everyone associates with her. She was powerful yes but she could not think people to death and neither can Christian.

I did remove a couple of the Level 5 powers but if you look at the list of abilities generally associated with a telekinetic, I picked the lesser abilities.

Generally excepted from the wiki is more akin to, it documenting all levels and uses of telekinesis since it's such a widely broad power. I'd say cutting would take place of atomic manipulation since setting random people on fire is ... well ... anyone short of invincible skin and super-speed can't counter that (or another mental user). I don't know, maybe I'm just misunderstanding the description. :p

I'm not trying to be rude, this is a thing with me and not at all your fault but I read through that post and while the individual words made sense I could only assemble some of it into a coherent statement. You know when you put something into google translate and then translate it back to English and it looks like gibberish. That's how the post looks to me.

It's nothing to do with you. It how my brain processes information sometimes. I'll probably read it in a week and it will make perfect sense but for the moment if it's not too much trouble could you please try rephrasing it. That sometimes helps, thank you so much.

There was something about fire being unblockable... I think. I'm going to assume that relates to an application of Atomic manipulation. To set your mind at ease, that is a very ineffective weapon. It not pyrokineses. It takes a lot of concentration to do and only works on some things. It's very difficult to create a fire using friction, using two sticks to make fire is not easy. It the same principle. It's not look at someone and they burst into flames. It also depends on the material that you are trying to burn. That particular ability is not akin to throwing fireballs.

Thanks Lydyn and Izkripp for helping out while I was gone.

Prince of Seraphs: In another roleplay, this might be an acceptable power level but you might want to read some of the character sheets because the power levels are much lower than what is found in DC/Marvel and on the wiki page. For example, the max my character can carry at level five is how much she can physically pick up with no assistance and is able to move two different objects at the same time. I'm going to have to say no to Atomic manipulation unless you rather have that as your power instead of telekinesis. I would also like to have ballistic telekinesis moved to level five and maybe manuter to level three.

Sorry Prince! What I was getting at is just because it says a power (for example) can destroy worlds, time-travel, and control minds, and grant super-strength, doesn't mean giving a character super strength and time-travel is a good idea, just because (in this example) it's a toned down version of all the things the power is capable of. You need to match your power with what's presented ...

Like I said, the hair one is probably one of the more powerful ones and probably my own - but they all have rather large drawbacks. With how you have it setup, even if it's hard, messing with things at the atom level is beyond any character in the RP currently - in my opinion. It's not personal, I think telekinesis is an awesome power, just need to retrain it. If you want my opinion (or ignore if you don't care, haha), I'd go with this;

Level 1 abilities:
Spatial Sense: To "see" one's surroundings using telekinesis. This is is a great deal of help to Christian without the use of his eyes but it comes and goes, sometimes being very specific while at others being to vague to be of use or absent completely.
Levitation: To lift an object, e.g. raising a pitcher several inches into the air.
Maneuver: Alter an object's directional course, e.g. changing what number a dice lands on or deflect an opponent attack.
Grip: Grasp an object firmly in place, e.g. hold back something thrown at the user
Pull/Push: Pull objects towards the user or to push objects away from the user, e.g. yanking a book off a shelf or sliding a cup across a table.

Level 3 abilities:
Ballistic Telekinesis: Where the user causes any nearby objects to be moved around the user at high speeds or to be propelled away from the user without conscious effort from the user of the power.
Flight: Use telekinesis to fly. (Extremely taxing on the user and not effective as a means of transport, eg wouldn't rival those with flying ability)
Choking: Strangle others.

Level 5 abilities:
Force Fields: Condense the air around oneself in order to make protective shields, e.g. deflecting bullets.
Cutting: Use telekinesis to cut things.

Thanks Lydyn for rewording that it's a great help and sorry that it was necessary. I've taken the atomic manipulation off the chart.

One thing about the Ballistic Telekinesis, you crossed off the "without conscious effort" and I realize that I really did a crappy job of explaining exactly what it is. Ballistic Telekinesis isn't a power unto itself, it is a reaction by a telekinetic to a traumatic event, let's say the death of a dear friend. At points of stress relating to the event there power starts to go berserk causing all sorts of things to start flying around at high speeds creating a sort of whirlwind of stuff. It usually has to be shut down by someone else since the user has lost control. I put it in there to say that it's possible at Level 3 and I could move it to 5 if necessary. It's not something he can use as a weapon.

Sorry I'm being difficult about this, it usually takes me a bit of time to work out exactly how the RP is suppose to operate, what goes, what doesn't.

Don't worry, Prince, I had to revamp my CS and ditch several powers in my original application, too! (I was aiming for an imagining of the PlageOfGripes Hexafusion of The Boss and Bayonetta, which is where my character image came from.)
At one point I had Superhuman Strength, Endurance, Speed, etc, etc. My hair could even hurl a semi with ease! But it too, was too OP and it had to be redone. That's not to say I'm not still happy with the end result, but I thought it may help to know you aren't the first!

Sorry about the delay, I was working on a post in another roleplay.

Yeah, that should work, just make sure you (and everyone else) is mindful of your character's power in comparison to others as we go along.

I haven't seem Heroes before but yes she is a technopath similar to Gary in Alphas but not as strong and much bigger drawback caused by her power.

Oh whoops, I was meaning that Mike would be a little harder to fit it. However, I'm interested in seeing how it's going to turn out. He's going either be someone that was in the military or a scientist to be able to fit into the story. One question I have is which is is Mike going to be on?

If that's the case then I guess he was in the military. Here is the CS for him. Tell me if it's alright or if anything needs changing.

Got an idea for a quite awesome superpower while reading a new-ish manga.

The Gamer
The user perceives the world like a RPG...better said MMORPG. He sees above each individual his level and name (and title if available). Particular individuals would have their titles and or level hidden, especially the ones much stronger than the user.

Main Skills:
-Gamer Mind: The user has an increased resistance to fear and other mind attacks.
-Mana Manipulation: Ability to use and generate mana. Also it allows the user to learn MP based skills
-Observe: The user gains information about the item or person in question

Other skills:
-Dungeon create: The user may create a portal that takes him and his party to an alternate plane. The surroundings remain the same but it is infested by the creatures selected by the user. Type of creatures increases with skill level up.

Party creation
Accessing Character window to spend ability points.
Accessing Inventory (think something like Doreamon)

Now if i could only find a suitable weakness...but I can't seem to find any.

Haven't se that show...but yes...think something like a ultra vanilla Guild Wars 2 character. Learning different skills just requires the user to repeat the same action a few times. Even washing dishes is a skill...

Sturmgewehr: Looks good, I'll add it to the NPC list once I'm home. Just as a warning, he's required to keep the Sierra Project and his power a secret from everyone else.
Do you know which side you are going to have him on?

General Bio

Name: Jason Salvatore
Nickname:Jace
Age: 22
Gender: Male

Superpower
Name of ability: Pyrokinesis
Description: The ability to speed up the vibrations of atoms to alter temperatures to the point of igniting a fire and possibly manipulating it.
Level one abilities: At level one, he could produce a small flame at the snap of his fingers or perhaps manipulate a candle flame. As for his body temperature, he is able to heat himself up slightly. Sometimes he can give people a slight sting with the touch of his hand but nothing hot enough to produce a permanent burn.
Level three abilities: Producing larger flames is slightly easier. He could blow at a candle and produce a small wave of a flame that was larger than what had previously existed. He can even create fireballs a bit smaller than the size of a golf ball but this occasion is rare. He can keep another person or himself warm with his body. He can withstand flames for a very short period of time and perhaps move through them without damage. However, this is for a short period and he cannot linger in the flames for too long without scorching himself. If he is allowed to hold someone's arm or touch their skin for a certain period of time, he can induce a minor burn.
Level five abilities: Manipulating flames is something that comes naturally at this point. However to create large flames that could cause destruction, he is dependent on a source such as a lighter to start it. He could create fireballs from this source as well to use as an offensive attack. His body is able to withstand flames for up to 5 minutes. This power has become very practical in keeping others warm in an emergency at this point. The longer he is allowed to touch someone's skin, the worse the burn can become. Once in awhile, he can use fire as a means to send himself high into the air.
Weakness/drawback: If used too frequently, he will be left with no energy. Especially if he is producing fire without a source to manipulate it from. This will leave him exhausted. He is usually limited to using only a source since most times if he creates flames on his own it will be small and not very useful in an event of danger. This power can be catastrophic at high levels. It can be very difficult to control fire and it can easily get out of hand. Additionally, he is not completely immune to fire. He can withstand it for certain periods of time but too much exposure will burn him like anyone else. Any water-related power will render him useless and oxygen is always needed to produce and maintain flames.

History
History: Jason Salvatore grew up as the arrogant son of two movie stars who never seemed to have time for him and his younger sister Cassie. When you're born rich, you don't have a care in the world and your life seems to already be made for you. As a result, Jason never put much effort into school or his future. He spent much of his time lounging around, chasing girls and partying. Unfortunately, his life took an awful turn and his luck just about ran out. His mother died early on due to drug abuse and his father remarried a year or two after. When Jason turned seventeen, his father got into a car accident and passed away himself. However, to his disbelief, his bitter stepmother inherited all every bit of the money and then sent Jason and Cassie to live with their ill grandfather, who lived for only two years after that. Luckily, he was a kinder man and left his apartment and the small amount of money he had to the two of them. Jason was able to use this to enroll himself in a mediocre college. He got himself a job as a waiter and used whatever time he had at home to fend for his younger sister Cassie.
The day before the bus ride:
Jason stood in a black tux and red tie before the seated plump, tourist family. Two children giggled as they threw their menus across the table at each other, their grimy little hands up in their air, ready to catch the black book. He grimaced at the thought of having to collect those menus from them. Certainly their fingers had just been previously in their noses. Although Jason did like kids, he was about to pull his hair out if he had to deal with another spoiled brat who demanded he give them half the menu and another pair of idiotic parents who insisted he do it. Then the child would waste all of it as well as his parents money.

He couldn't really remember if he was that kid once but he wanted to separate himself from that spoiled, rich idiot he had been as much as he could. Living in a four room apartment had really changed his perspective on things in life. Well, not all things. He threw a charming smile towards a pretty girl passing him, giving her a quick call-me gesture.

"Errmm..."The woman muttered, her heavily-colored eyes set on the menu before her as she flipped through the pages. "Is there anything to drink that's under one hundred calories?" I bet she just made four thousand calories today and now just started to worry. Jason thought bitterly to himself. The woman was no light weight and no light drink was going to help her there.

"Well. There's water, ma'am."Jason told her, smiling lightly.

"Aw. Isn't he just a cutie patootie, Walter? Such a charmer. How come you weren't more like him at that age?"

"What do you mean?" Walter demanded, "What's so great about him?"

"Here we go."Jason muttered under his breath as yet the third argument of the day commenced and of course, yet again, he'd be pinned a troublemaker. Luckily enough his shift was pretty much over. He had an hour left but he just didn't have the patience to deal with these people. He tapped a nearby waiter. "My shift's done. Get this table for me, will you?" He patted his back, "Thanks, bud."

With that, Jason left the restaurant and made his way to the bus stop. He impatiently waited for fifteen minutes, tapping his foot and ignoring the glares he received. Upon his arrival to his home, he quickly changed into comfortable clothes and hit the couch exhaustedly. He hated working and he hated classes. Never in a million years had he thought he'd be stuck in this situation yet here he was. Jason found he felt more sorry for his poor sister than himself. Poor girl was stuck with a sap like him for a guardian.
