*Appears* I have a question before I make my decision on joining or not. If your char dies unfortunately and becomes whatever level of Reanimated zombie(Depending on blood type of course), can you control the zombie version until it is killed? Also, I didn't come across any open or closed signs so naturally I have to ask, is this open before proceeding any further? *Vanishes till the time is ripe*

Axel and Blue Dog - The RP is "closed" until we get situated. The RP will most likely be starting this coming Sunday and we'll need a few weeks to get organized and shit.

So, if you are interested in RPing here later, I suggest you subscribe to the RP, pay attention and wait a bit. Also, feel free to play in this OOC, talk about things and whatever, you're more than welcomed to it.

Axel - in regards to the question about, paraphrasing, "can I control my zombie after my char dies?" I'm not going to say no, but I would not recommend it. At the point that people turn, they loss all human qualities and levels of intelligence and become basically, animals. So the RP would be exceptionally boring and involve your char walking around and had he/she walked up to their mother, or President Obama or whoever, there would be no recognition.

So what I'm saying is it would be extremely dull, slow, uneventful and rather pointless to RP as a risen infected, at least in THIS RP. I guess I'm not saying no, but...I don't know why one would want to do so in this RP.

To answer you question a bit further, NO. You cannot "control" the zombie after, at least in a logical sense. The actions would be basic and primitive, Your RP would essentially consist of "walk...walk...walk...walk...walk. Human, chase. Eat. walk...walk....walk....walk....human. Chase. Human chase. Bang door...bang door...bang door....bang door....bang door....bang door. Loud noise, walk...walk....walk....walk....walk...." I hope you see the point.

Hmm... I'd like to put forward my opinion on this matter, and for this purpose I would like to cite V/H/S 2. One of the shorts is practically this, except done in a film format. Therefore, I would like to venture to say that it is possible to write it in such a way that it is both realistic and fun, and there are two ways in theory to do this:

1) The zombie that used to be a character would have a rather short lifespan as it rises in a situation where it would be killed quickly by other PCs or NPCs. Alot of writing could be dedicated to how much was lost due to the PC's death and return as a zombie, what tragedy is there and of course, it could be used to provoke writing related to the zombie.

2) The zombie that used to be a character 'lives' for a long while. In this case, it would usually have a very special purpose. For example, it might prove to be a severe hindrance to other PC or NPC survivors (especially in the case of those rare dangerous type zombies), or even the cause of death and reawakening. Most of the writing would be similar to the above, except with the added bonus of the possibility that it could encounter other survivors not of the PC group, who are inconsequential and can be killed for various drama and such.

In both cases, I think it's just a matter of how you write it I suppose.

I am considering making a fourth post for my character, just to make the evolution through her stay in the CDC even more developed and awesome. Either way Marrie is going to be quite the interesting little biscuit when this all kicks off.

Also, How did you like my sudden incorporation of Ivy? It seemed appropriate, but I am not quite sure.
