Idea~?

If I read the rules correctly, I should be doing this right. If I am not, please correct me!

So I have an idea for a group roleplay that I will probably put under Casual Roleplay. It's based off of a story I have been writing for years; Elves vs Vampires. Cliche I know, but I've been writing it since high school lol.

You see;

It's middle earth, (yes lord of the rings style) there is an illness going around called the "Gray Death" that is only inflicted by a fume that is given off when a vampire dies. There is the evil queen of the vampires who sacrifices her own kind just in an attempt to kill of the elves and the humans to make the entire land hers. I am still building on this plot so any suggestions are welcome.

Before I make it official, would anyone actually join me...?

Yea sure boiorgurl, elves vs vampires... interesting combo which I haven't actually seen yet believe it or not.
I'd like to see where this heads, maybe you can expand on the current plot and I'll think of something to suggest.

Thank you ^^ I'll type up my current plot idea and post it. Any suggestions given I'll edit my original post to add it.

However, it'll have to be once I get home from work tonight... ^^;;

Question: If this vampire queen succeeds, what would her people feed off of to survive?

There would be captives that she would treat as slaves and then the animals that still exist. This is just something in my mind, it might be kind of lame.

@RenaKin90 It's not lame at all! It just needs a few details worked out! I'd imagine if you've been working on this project for this long you must have done a lot of research on all the topics involved. Let me know if I can help in anyway, otherwise I'll read and observe if not eventually join in.

Are the vampires race specific? Meaning which of the races can and cannot become vampires. If not then there might be certain traits each race could have, like enhanced strength (humans, dwarves, orcs, trolls), enhanced agility (hobbits, elves), enhanced intelligence (humans, hobbits(?), elves) etc.

since "romance" is shown in the genre I'm guessing there's some action going on between the two sides... right?

Does the "gray death" kill instantly or is there a time until death?

Humans are the only race that can be turned. Elves, dwarves, etc. cannot be turned in any kind of way. Each race will have their own set of abilities. However, a select few of each race can acquire the ability of magic (light or dark) depending on their personality (good, evil or neutral.)

The romance, I was hoping for controversy for each side yes.

The gray takes about a month to take the life of who it inflicts. Those who "survive" it typically are not the same and it is very rare they survive. The symptoms are fever, pale-ash gray skin and visible blue veins. It got the name because of the skin, but basically the blood is in a sense rotting within the victim.

She is considered a vampire "Goddess". She was not turned, I was looking into describing her background as she was "born" from molten rock of some kind and was already a vampire. I am still working on hers as she would not show up right away, but to answer she was not turned.
