Alright so this is our meager OOC.

We've got a nice slice of life set in Sendai, Japan.

I'm think our CS should be a bit modest, maybe something basic with appearance, age, maybe 1-2 paragraphs for their family life and persona? Maybe their birthday as well? Assuming we're doing this in today's era?

Haha, no! I meant listing a birthday is good with me. My birthday is a little bit away.

PS: I posted my male character - I can add more if you need it, but I left it real basic. What do you think? ^^

And I like em, I think they're good. I'd rather us not waste energy on sheets when they'll be fleshed out in the IC anyway. I'll try to get mine up tonight, by tomorrow night at the latest.

And awesome - I agree, I like it better with the actually developing as the story goes instead of writing it all down and having to stick to that. Because that doesn't always work with the story and you don't know till you start playing.

Exactly, sometimes a CS looks different compared to what happens in the story. I like being able to refer back to bits of detail in a CS but I'd rather be able to find it in the IC where it has context and purpose.

Oh dear - that's good to hear. I'm all doom and gloom most days so far this year. Haha. Thanks for letting me know!

And, I agree. I sometimes will go back to the CS and add stuff after it happens so I won't forget it, but I never write out a whole thing about who the person is before they're created in context.

No problem. If you need winning lotto numbers, I got you covered too.

It would be nice to add pictures of them as they age, or little quirks. I think expanding a CS can be useful and with slice of life, you know people and personalities will end up changing over time.

And, yes - we totally should~ I already love our story, we just gotta write it! XD

Ditto~ In terms of when we're starting, we're making our males old friends and our females acquaintances at best yes? Did we want to start at the start of their final year in school? Like in the beginning of fall? Did we want to go over any class schedule or anything?

Males are old friends.
Females know of each other, but don't know each other well.
I like the idea of starting in their final year.
As far as schedule ...
What are your two characters majoring in? What they're interested in? Just wanted to clarify. That would play into how we made their schedule if they're in the final year.

I think the schedule would be the same wouldn't it? Don't classes usually have a set schedule but perhaps it would depend on their class itself. I'm thinking it's possible they could have an elective if they're in their final year that allows for more variety?

Oh yeah - sorry, I'm doing a college RP as well, so my mind was thinking college schedule. Hahah. Yes! that is how high school works! I apologize~

So we have the standard history/social studies, math, science, literature/language arts, and an elective.

I'm thinking they'd have politics or economics as their history/social studies class since they're in the last year. What do you think?

I think economics would well, possibly some kind of personal finance course that is perhaps blended into the econ class itself?

I think we're about ready to kick things off, I have this afternoon free.

Should we assume their class schedule would be:

8:00 AM - 8:30 - Homeroom, class goes over the news, recent events, club announcements

8:30 AM - 9:30 - Math

9:30 AM - 10:30 - Science

10:30 AM - 11:30 - Economics

11:30 AM - 12:30 - Lunch

12:30 PM - 1:30 - Historic Literature

1:30 PM - 2:30 - English Language

2:30 PM - 4:00 - Drama Club Elective + clean up

Any changes or tweaks are fine by me, I pretty much winged it lol
