Hi, so I'm just trying something here by posting an interest check. Simply put this RP already exists, and you can check out the OP here. It's a high fantasy style world with magic and mythical creatures, but we built it from the ground up with much more complexity than just a carbon copy LoTR world. That being said there's no cities of elves and dwarves, but that doesn't mean they don't exist in the world and who you want to play as is largely unrestricted so long as it's fair.
While the RP is always open to new players, recently a fair number of our characters have dropped off the map and those of us that are left are looking for some new faces :). There are currently two groups, both of which have their own plotline and story planned out. These stories have only just begun though, and there's room for new characters in both. The pacing for posting is casual, so there's not a lot of pressure to keep up and we value quality over quantity.
