Just as the Dwarven Prince was being dragged off by the guards, Legolas followed them, really to make sure that Thorin makes it all the way to his cell. He took a glance at Yavannna, as he walked past the two female Elves; his eyes cold as ice.

Just before the two could be taken by some more guards, Saeril spoke up. "Wait a minute...wait! I only wish to speak with you, my lord!", she protested quickly as soon as her arms were taken by the guards. "About this treasure you so-called speak of", she said, until the guards stopped with their proceeded action. The two holding the princess also halted at Saeril's words.

Yavanna watched Thorin being dragged off. Her eyes filled with sadness, as she registered Legolas' stone cold look. She glanced away from the young Prince. Only to be grabbed by two Guards herself. She gasped slightly...one of them had gripped her bad arm again. "A little gentle please." Yavanna told the two guards.

Thranduil rose an eyebrow, as he heard Saeril. He looked curious "Let her speak." he told the guards. "And take the young one away." he ordered. If it came down to it, he'd deal with the Princess later on. But right now, his mood was sour. And not in the mood to deal with both of them at once.

Saeril felt the two guards release her being, but she didn't expect Thranduil to order the girl away. The elder wanted to protest but couldn't, since it was the king's order, and that she did say she would be the only one who wanted to speak with him. Her yellow-green eyes told Yavanna that everything was going to be okay, and that she should trust her with this.

As soon as the princess disappeared behind the closed doors, Saeril looked back to the Elvenking. "I know what you seek in that mountain", she said, taking a couple of steps forward. "White gems of pure starlight; they once belonged to a woman here; a woman I once knew, before her cold-blooded demise", she explained in emotion of shame and pain of the death of his so-called wife.

"I know that Mirkwood forest has been another half of her, and I know how it feels", the she-elf softly said. "I won't speak of her again, if that is what you prefer, and I will take your word for it", her hands were then crossing over each other in front of her, showing that she meant no disrespect. "I can retrieve them", she spoke up after a moment of silence. "The gems of Lasgalen".

The guards escorted Yavanna to the dungeons. Yavanna just glanced back at Saeril...hoping; she knew what the elder was doing. As they got to the Dungeons...the guards walked past the Elven prince..before opening up an empty cell for Yavanna. Stepping into the cell..she closed her eyes, hearing the door close behind her. Sitting down, she leaned against the wall.

Thranduil was sitting on his throne once more; looking at the winged-she elf. His eyes turned cold with pain, before he narrowed them in a glare as she dared speak of his wife. "Do not...dare...mention...her...again!" his voice filled with pain. It hurt him, to hear about his wife. Even if she meant well.

But to hear her offer. "Why would you want to do that?" he asked, with a raised eyebrow. "What do you want in return? If you bring me the Gems?"

Legolas watched as Yavanna was being escorted to the dungeons, and took witness of them locking up the girl in an empty cell, just right next to Thorin's. Having to close the door behind her, the blonde Elf just looked at her through the slits in the door, shortly after locking her in. He wondered what else this young Elf was capable of, with her wise words and such, but it was short-lived, just as he turned around, and walked away. However, before he left completely, he glanced back, just for a minute, until he continued on his stride out of the dungeons.

Saeril slightly flinched at his pain, and she glanced up to the chair sitting next to the King's throne, before looking back to the king.
"Those gems are precious to you, my lord", Saeril softly told him. "If you could do nothing to get them, at least have someone who cares about the woman you loved, retrieve them for you. It's in my intuition for you to not feel pain, and for me to do this, I want to relieve that pain", her face was already getting a little emotional, but no tears shed, and only her mouth was slightly giving a small sad smile. "For you and your family", she added.

She gave a sigh. "What I want, in return, my lord, is for you to not let others around you, fall. Your son wouldn't want that; even if he chooses to become the next in line, he wouldn't let your kingdom fall like everyone else", the she-elf was thinking of the Durin family while she explained it to him.

As the Prince locked the door behind her. Yavanna's eyes met with his for a few moments. She was silent. As their eyes were held together for a few moments, in that glance; she felt her heart speed up slightly. Wondering what he was thinking. Yavanna glanced down at her lap...as she heard him retreat. After he was gone, she just closed her eyes. She wondered how they were going to get out of this. Why...god...why did Thorin have to be so stubborn? she thought to herself.

Thranduil watched her every move carefully. He closed his eyes briefly..before he opened them again. "How did you even know her? She never mentioned you..." his voice cracked slightly..but he quickly composed himself again. Not letting the pain and memory of his long dead wife, get the better of him. He was better than that.

Listening to her speak, maybe she was right. There was some truth to her words. "Very well, if you shall retrieve the Gems. I shall do my best to keep my word to you and promise, that Mirkwood will thrive and not fall."

Saeril had confidence back to her once she heard the ElvenKing accept the deal. She remembered the ElvenQueen briefly, but only a few glimpses of her were ever present on the Elven prince when she and the others were captured. "I have many powers, my lord. Ones that I am not ready to share. All I remember, was that she was beautiful", she fondly said as soon as she looked at the empty throne chair next to the king's own.

If Thranduil wanted to offer her money, Saeril honestly wouldn't at all be phased by it. That was just how her race lived: they relied more on belief, wisdom, knowledge, and the resources of nature. She was used to not fall to the sins of greed. "Also, what I want, is to have my companions set free. If I am to retrieve the gems, I must have a way in", she continued. "I was loyal to your wife; for that, I shall be loyal to you."

Listening to the she-elf before him. Thranduil couldn't help but be curious about Saeril. Naturally of course he was. He was half expecting her to expect something. That's when she mentioned them. "Mhh, well setting them free...that's not nothing on my part, now is it?" he spoke, pursing his lips in thought. He was debating with himself...if the release of the Dwarves was a good idea. But then again; she had a point.

Meanwhile, Young Bilbo had been sneaking around Mirkwood Realm. Invisible. Finding the cellars, he noticed a few elves, debating about empty barrels of wine before getting drunk on the wine. After they fell asleep, Bilbo sneaked over...Grabbing the set of keys for the Dungeon Cells. Before making his way to the Dungeons, to set his friends. He could hear them talking about the mountains. "Not stuck in here you're not." Thorin looked relieved to see him. Balin just smiled, with a soft chuckle. Master Burglar, was off to save them again.

Yavanna looked up. "Bilbo." she smiled softly, seeing the young Hobbit with the keys in his hands. It really seemed, like Bilbo was becoming the perfect Burglar material.

"Where's Saeril?" Bilbo asked, his voice low. Not noticing her in one of the cells. Hearing the chatter of the Dwarves, he hushed them "Shhh...there's guards near by." that seemed to quite them down, as Bilbo opened up all of the cells setting them free.

"She's dealing, with the king." Yavanna said softly, as Bilbo asked about the elder elf. Once all the Prisoners were free...they closed the cell doors behind them. And Bilbo then led them down to the cellar...all sneaking quietly. Once they arrived in the Cellars..Yavanna noticed the two drunk sleeping elves at the table.

"We're in the cellars." Kili said, looking around with a smile.
"You're supposed to be leading us out...not further in." Bofur complained.
"I know what I am doing." Bilbo said softly "Trust me on this." he said and looked at them all, counting the Barrels. There were enough for the Dwarves and the Princess. "Climb into the Barrels." he spoke. A few of them looked uncertain. "Do it.." Bilbo urged.
"Do as he says." Thorin nodded to the company. And they all began to climb into the Barrels. Some with the help of others trying to squeeze in. Making sure they were all inside. Yavanna looked at Bilbo. She had a sneaky idea, of what he was planning on doing.

"Now what?" Kili asked him.
"Hold your breath." Bilbo said quietly..before he walked over the lever. Pulling at it...the wooden door beneath them all tipped and the barrels rolled down...falling into the lake that was beneath.

"My lord, the dwarves. They're gone", a Silvan told his king after he ran up the stairs. Saeril was relieved that they have managed to escape, but had to get the king's consent in order to leave herself. "I must go, your majesty. I must catch up, if I am to reclaim your prize", she explained to the ElvenKing, so she could get his permission to leave.

Thranduil's jaw clenched, as he heard the Silvan elf. "What?! Who was on guard?!" he demanded...before he heard Saeril and he nodded. "Yes, of course. If you shall return, with the Gems. You shall have anything you desire." The King promised her. A prize of her own choosing if you will.

It took a while for Bilbo to figure out, how to get the door to move...without the lever. As he walked backwards...the door tilted and he fell into the lake with a gasp.

As the waves carried the Barrels. Bilbo caught a grip onto one of them...holding onto the side. Yavanna heard a shriek in the distance. Orcs. "Oh no." she whispered to herself. It seemed like The Orcs found them. But this time, they were led by Bolg. Azog had sent him and at least 30 orcs or so...to track down the Company.

Tauriel whom heard of rumors of the Orcs near by. Run out of the Mirkwood gates. Not long after the prisoners were set free. Not knowing why...she went after the Orcs on her own.

There were a pair of gates; that separated a part of the river. It shut...just as the prisoners were approaching it. Thorin growled, as he hit the gate with his barrel. "Noo." he saw the guards, at the little bridge looking down at them. Yavanna gasped as she saw a familiar orc arrow pierce the guards armor...Things could not get any worse could the? She thought to herself.

Orcs began to jump down at the company. Yavanna punched one of the Orcs, that leap down at her...making sure it didn't get near her. Kili noticed the lever, near the bridge...Trying to make his way out of the Barrel. He grabbed a sword from an Orc...that lost his. Slashing at the orcs...trying to clear his path towards the lever.

But then he felt a pain shoot through his leg. Kili let out a yelp. Falling down...an Orc's arrow.

"Kili!" Yavanna gasped. The Princess jumped up from her own Barrel. Kicking an Orc in the face, during the Process, as she leapt up onto the ground. She ducked as a sword came swinging her way...grabbing the arm of the Orc...she swung his sword, back at him. Cutting into his side harshly. Kicking the Orc...it went flying into the river...his sword in her hand.

Just then Yavanna noticed few arrows. They were elvish. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw Tauriel.

Kili groaned in pain...managing to pull himself up...crawling to the lever. He yanked at it and the gates opened again.

As soon as she was allowed to be excused, she made her quick, elegant bow before him, and made her exit from the throneroom, leaving through the gateway, and taking flight. All that looked at her back, was Legolas' cold piercing eyes. "Close the gate", he told a Silvan elf before the horn was blown. The company was floating across the water in their barrels until they reach the waterfall, sending them downstream with Saeril flying above them. At this height, she could see the Elven guards ahead at the gate, at the same time where she heard the Elven horn, which acted like a signal to shut the dwarves' only way out.

"Get under the bridge!", Saeril shouted to her friends from above, just before the Orcs managed to get to them. Above the bridge, the she-elf swung a mighty finger cuff at the fired arrows at her being, breaking them just before she could allow them to hit her. This angered her, and she suddenly collided into an orc on top of the bridge, stabbing it with her dagger, her strength knocking him away. She clawed at another in the face that was approaching her, and tumbled him into the water, just near the dwarves under the bridge.

Flying at another, she gave a kick before ducking from a thrown hatchet. Right after the she-elf did this said-action, she just noticed a Morgul shaft being aimed at Kili, who appears to be trying to reach for the lever. Knowing that his life was at stake, she used her whole body, and gave a mighty push to Bolg, unfortunately, not stopping the arrow from being released. "Kili!", the eldest brother shouted in shock. Saeril froze in place once she was at full height, and she never felt such fire boil up in her heart, and she has never figured that it would come to light. "Delva!", the blonde once again shouted, which became a snapping gesture of Bolg aiming another arrow at the youngest. The fire inside was at its reaching point, and taking her curved blade in hand, she gave a shout that was mixed with anger and frustration, and threw the weapon at the second arrow, snapping it in half.

Before registering what made his weapon break, Saeril was suddenly on him; eyes glowing, wings flapping wildly, scratching, and screeching, even biting him in the shoulder with her sharp molars. Such rage was evident, and his black life-essence painted her red lips, staining her once-beautiful Elven facials. Panting, she let go of him, moving herself away from the wounded Orc. It wasn't over, and an arrow whizzed over her head, and shot a nearby Orc. Legolas and Tauriel finally arrived on the scene, shooting and fending off the obscene creatures.

Saeril sheathed her daggers, and flew herself towards her fallen godson. She didn't bother to wipe off the Orc's blood from her face. All she could think about was getting Kili and the others to safety. Landing near him, the she-elf helped him maneuver to the edge of the bridge so he could get back in his barrel. "Bite this", she gave him a parchment of her cloak to bite on, so she could remove the arrow for him. "Kili!", the blonde brother called him once again, obviously scared and concerned for his little brother.

The she-elf waited for Kili to be ready, and quickly but swiftly removed the shaft from his leg, already feeling bad for herself to not be able to stop the arrow in time. Carefully moving him, she helped him jump down into his barrel. His wound couldn't be repaired now, not until they had the proper tools. All she could do was watch the barrels travel into the rapids, before following, just after realizing that they were being advanced upon by the Orcs.

Thorin and the company sighed in relief; hearing Saeril. Yavanna looked relieved, Saeril was back. Wondering how she managed to talk the King into letting her leave. All worried for the safety of Kili and his well being. "Delva.." Kili muttered, seeing her as he groaned in pain.

Yavanna was surprised, when she saw the Mirkwood Prince, came to help out as well. Or rather, he had been chasing to stop the company and her escaping. But now was helping in slaying their enemy. She heard Saeril attend to Kili, whom let out a slight yelp, through the piece of parchment as he bit down on it. He gave Saeril a thank-full look before he managed to get into his barrel.

But glancing around, they were out numbered by the Orcs. Yavanna run along side the path of the river. Following the Orcs. The blade she stole in hand. One Orc jumped out at her and she span around, with elegance and swift persicision...she sliced the orcs' head off.

As Tauriel fought through the Orcs...she used her daggers. Fending off the creatures...stabbing...slicing. But she noticed the way the young Princess fought. Not to mention the winged she-elf. They were both skilled. Yavanna felt an ache in her arm, but the pain fueled her energy. Fighting to keep her friends safe. Yavanna hoped, that Kili would be alright. She would need to asses his wound later..on dry lands.

"Get them....get them!" Injured Bolg yelled. "Slay them all...Kill the young one!" he meant Yavanna. A few orcs began to leap into the water, to try and get to the Dwarves. But Yavanna acted quickly...spinning around. She swung her sword at one Orc..coming near by. As she uttered ancient words of Elvish. A large wave suddenly swallowed the Orcs...where the were jumping. The Orcs shrieked...as the power of the water drowned at least 5 of them at once. The wave landed with a large splash...adding more force to the current...carrying the Dwarves quicker down the river.

It was an ancient spell, that Arwen had taught her little sister. One that Yavanna had not yet tried. But had faith in. And it proved right. Her star light growing strong and it seemed to hold a few orcs away from her...the brighter it got. They were blinded.

Tauriel quickly glanced between the she-elves and Legolas. The wave had left Tauriel impressed. For such a young elf. The girl knew her craft. Noticing the shimmering light as Yavanna run, chasing after the Orcs ahead. That girl was something special. That much was clear...she spun around...slashing another orc that jumped at her. Running after the young she-elf and the orcs.

Legolas moved quickly down the side of the river as the Orcs continued to follow their intended targets. Jumping and dodging attacks, he landed with a light foot atop the dwarves to get across the river on both sides. Shooting arrows here and there, he moved swiftly, along with Saeril who attacked from the air, and remarkably stayed close with the dwarves in their barrels down the river. The blonde elf took notice upon the giant wave Yavanna had managed to conjure. Even could not learn such spells while living in the forest of Mirkwood. The Silvan were not known for magical arts, but just brutish combat. That was how he grew, regardless of being Sindarin.

Knowing that his little brother was hurt, Fili had to do most of the fending for him. Not that he minded, but he had to keep Kili protected like he had always did when they were kids.

Stunts and feats were performed to defend themselves against these creatures, and the fight went down the open waters where the dwarves could peacefully drift away, with Saeril following. Legolas almost got himself hit by an Orc when one of the dwarves striked it first before it could make its move. Just as its corpse fell, the elf Prince glanced at the barrels drifting down the Rapids, having to take his cold glare to the young she-elf whose abilities were almost beyond his own. However, he was so caught up in his thoughts, he, again, didn't see a second attacker come up from behind.

From the corner of her eyes; Yavanna noticed the way Legolas had moved. Like dancing with the wind. His skills with the bow, surpassed hers. Even though she was great with the bow...nothing compared to the Prince of Mirkwood. She could hear the Dwarves grunt and groan, slightly. When Legolas used their heads to get across from both sides of the river.

As they fought...Yavanna moved gracefully. Dodging attacks...spinning behind and lashing her attacks. Tauriel at one point, switched back to her bow and arrow...firing arrows...that reached far even across the other side. Killing off as many Orcs. But a few managed to run off including Bolg.

When Yavanna's eyes met with Legolas' from across the river side. She noticed his cold, almost emotionless stare. Despite how he might have viewed her. Maybe even hated her; that she was friends of Thorin and his company. She could not bring herself to stare at the Prince, in such a cold way. It was not her. Her eyes were soft...but then filled with worry. She saw an Orc approaching him from behind.

Acting quickly...she threw the Orc sword. Her only defense. Since her own had been taken by the Guards of Mirkwood. "Duck!" Yavanna yelled out to the Legolas;her voice soft but filled with worry for him. The sword flew past the Prince; above his head and stuck right; into the heart of the Orc...that was about the attack. The Orc let out a shriek...before falling dead. Yavanna's eyes lingered on Legolas for a few moments. Having saved his life.

Legolas have been so busy taking care of the Orc that was he currently advancing, he didn't notice the other Orc that was about to go for his back. He had managed to catch sight of the girl before him, and her words didn't go unheard. With a thrown sword coming directly towards him, he instinctively ducked, letting the blade miss its mark, and hit the Orc that was behind him. Watching the creature fall dead, his mouth gaped slightly in surprise, before turning back to see Yavanna again.

There was a thought about her; her bright light, knowledge of spells, combined with her conscience views, the girl was something special. These were traits that he may not never see again; the last time being with his mother. Could she be that special? His gaze was caught with hers, just as he realized that not only did she defend him from Thorin, but also saved his life. She must be that special.

Yavanna couldn't help but sigh in relief, when she saw Legolas duck. He was unharmed. As his eyes locked with hers...she felt her heart speed up inside of her chest. It was thumping rather loudly. She wasn't sure, if from the rush of everything. Or just him...Her eyes still remained soft. For a few long seconds, or minutes maybe. Yavanna couldn't tear her gaze away from the Mirkwood Prince. Her eyes reading his expression...despite his somewhat cold look still. Yavanna gave him a small..warm, genuine smile of relief, that he was alright.

But she could see the company, getting futher down the river side. It took her another moment, before her legs finally worked again. Almost reluctantly, running away from the Mirkwood Prince..and towards her friends. Yavanna glanced over her shoulder, at Legolas one last time. Who knew...when she'd see him again. If ever. The odd thought made her heart clench slightly. And it confused her ever so slightly. She wasn't used to feeling like this..

She wasn't sure why, but she cared. Maybe a little too much. Tauriel noticed the moment between Legolas and Yavanna...the girl had saved his life. She blinked in surprise, as she watched the she-elf run after her company. Leaving Legolas and Tauriel alone.

Legolas kept his gaze to her; his cold facial still apparent, but slightly cracking in his blue eyes. That battle-hardening expression, and exterior was getting looser, and his gaze to the girl only made him develop some kind of mixed feeling that was almost impossible to decipher. Who is she, really? That feeling was telling him to speak, but he kept it shut, even after she reluctantly left. The last thing he remembered was gazing off to where she was going, where she followed the barrels down the river. The blonde apparently found himself wondering, and gazing out, just a little too much, when an Orc came up from behind with an arrow.

As Yavanna run down the river side. Soon catching up with the company, due to her speed. Yavanna followed the stream...until it got bit more shallow. Jumping down...she waded through the water. Her clothes getting wet, as she helped push one of the barrels closer to the shore.

Thorin noticed the look on Yavanna's face. She looked a little flashed...flustered. Wondering what she was thinking. But maybe it was best he didn't ask and interrupt her train of thought. Kili groaned in pain. His leg ached. Yavanna heard Kili and she looked worried. Her thoughts still swimming inside of her head. She couldn't get Legolas out of her mind..her thoughts just kept wondering back to him, every few moments. Yavanna tried to shake it off...they had other things to focus on.

Tauriel made her way across to the other side of the River. Firing an arrow...she disarmed the Orc that came up behind Legolas...before grabbing a hold of him, her dagger pressed tightly to it's neck. The Orc squirmed.

Just by hearing an arrow being deflected by another, it had snapped Legolas snapped back to reality, with his face becoming serious again. "Tauriel, dartho!", he had managed to stop her before she could go any further. "This one we keep alive", he told her in the Silvan tongue, knowing that they must know why Orcs had to attack their borders, and why they were after the two female Elves, as well as their companions. Keeping the same expression, but slightly loosened, he glanced back to the direction of where the stream goes, before helping Tauriel take the Orc back to the palace.

Saeril was helping the dwarves get out of their barrels until she herself managed to step onto dry land, her wings folding behind her back and miraculously turning into her black cloak, as it drapes over her catsuit. She heard groaning from ahead of her, and noticed Kili still in pain from the arrow shot, and his wound looks to be beyond healing. Managing to reach him, she kneeled at his side and hurriedly tore a piece of her black cloak, using it to tame the huge bleeding cut. She wiped the black blood off her lips, although some specks remained on some parts of her face.

"Shh...", she softly told her godson as she put a little bit of pressure to stop the bleeding. "Let me", the she-elf said to him. "I promised Dis I would protect you and your brother. Now, I made a huge mistake", she added before putting a little more pressure. "I'm sorry", she apologized, both if it was giving him too much pain, and of not being able to try harder.

As Yavanna caught up with the group. She saw how much Kili was in..it seemed like he wasn't healing. "It's not your fault." She told Saeril softly. They had been out numbered and surprised, with the gate being shut. With so many distractions, no wonder Bolg was so quick to get an arrow in Kili's leg. She went over and checked over the Companions, making sure they were all right.

Kili sat down on a rock. But he let Saeril attend to his wound. She gave the Dwarf a soft smile, filled with concern. "Yavanna's right. It's not your fault..." he said through the pain, greeting his teeth slightly. He smiled at her softly, through his pain. "We were outnumbered...you can't be too blame for what he did." he said.

Tauriel was a little surprised, he wanted the Orc Alive. But, she then too realized. They had a few things to find out. Maybe the Orc would speak. She dragged the Orc towards the palace, keeping him restrained with the help of Legolas.
