Yavanna smiled back at the elder she-elf. Withdrawing her sword from the said position...before sliding it back within it's sheath.

The young elf, was quiet a fast learner. A good listener. "Thank you...I've always been a quick study." she told her softly, nodding gently. It was getting rather very late. "I am sure, any tips might prove helpful in the future...I appreciated that." she said softly. As worried, as she may have been at first...this little practice proved helpful. And Yavanna was glad to have gained a new skill, that would give her advantage in the battle-field.

She smiled softly, feeling her hand on her shoulder.

"Perhaps teach young Kili a thing or two, as well", she teasingly suggested, just as her wings transformed back into her cloak, before managing to look up and see the stars in the sky above them. Their hair blowing in the gentle wind, Saeril looked back towards Kili behind them, gesturing him to join them in looking at the constellations.

Yavanna let out a slight giggle, at Saeril's teasing. "Mhh, I might have to." Yavanna then looked up towards the starry night sky...watching the stars twinkling so brightly. Yavanna's mind thought back on the young Prince, wondering if the stars were leading him on a safe path, towards his destination north.

Kili walked over to them both, as he glanced up at the perfect night sky with them both. The evening air felt fresh, crisply cool and soothing. The night sky was beautiful...it brought back memories, if the first time he properly flew with Saeril back in Rivendell. Kili's hand took their hands in his...one squeezed Yavanna's softly...the other Saeril's.

Yavanna gently squeezed his hand back, feeling the breeze on her skin and ruffling through her hair.

Somewhere up North, Legolas looked up at the stars, having each one to remind him of the princess, in so many ways than one: Her beauty, her innocence, her light. They were just...her. The way she gave off her innocence in how she smiled, the way she gave off her beauty with her glow. The Elf Prince barely rested, and he wondered whether if the girl was to be missed. Mahal, she was, to him. And the farther he was, the more he had missed her glowing green eyes, her raven-black hair, and her fair, creamy skin. Everything became a reminder to him of her; sometimes, when he was in the presence of the Rangers, he would remember Yavanna sharing her conscience words and reason with all races, evident with how she presented herself before the Elves, Dwarves, and the Humans. Here he was, sitting in the camp of the Dunedain, feeding his horse while looking up at the stars, as well as fiddling with the necklace around his neck, letting the memories shroud him in remembrance of the princess.

Saeril held onto Kili's hand as soon as he gripped her own. Having to hold made her feel complete, determined in keeping him alive for his and her sake. If she loses him, she will never forgive herself and there would be no reason for her to continue living; this was her purpose. Now with Yavanna in her life, it was like she had the daughter she could never have; another child; a possible student. Apart from her parents, in truth, the elder never felt or experienced true love in her life; never in its truest state. Since the moment they met, there was a bond forming between the winged she-elf and the young Elven girl, like a mother-child connection; the same bond she had with her two godsons. Glancing over at the said-girl, she gave that same motherly smile that she has always given. Maybe another reason to live?

Aragorn had been somewhat surprised, to see the new arrival. But unlike some of the Rangers, he was elf-friendly. Having been raised in Rivendell after the death of his father. His mother, wanted him to be protected. Lord Elrond had given him a new home, kept his heritage a secret from those that would seek to end him and his line. Other Rangers were not so...welcoming. Feeling more skeptical, maybe bit cautious about the new arrival. Aragorn was sitting near by; sharpening his weaponry. Noticing that the elven Prince looked deep in thought...almost like he was missing someone close to his heart. Aragorn knew that look rather well. "Who is she?" Aragorn asked looking at Legolas, with a slight raised eyebrow. Giving him a friendly smile.

Yavanna glanced over at Saeril, giving her a soft warm smile. She was glad to have her...and Kili in her life. They were the best friends and family she could have ever asked for. But deep down, Yavanna felt a fear in the pit of her stomach. She did not want the same, cruel, untimely fate to meet Kili. She could not loose him, not after she lost so much already...including his elder brother and uncle. He had his full life ahead of him. He deserved all the adventure, excitement, happiness and love in his life he could possibly get.

Kili was silent; but watched the stars in Awe. Every one of them was unique...individual. Kind of like a person, had their own personality. But somehow, none of them could ever shine brighter than Yavanna. He savored this peaceful moment, with two people that meant the world to him. He was glad to have Delva and Yavanna by his side.

Unlike the other Dunedain Rangers, Aragorn may be one of the few who was friendly with the Elven folk. At first, Legolas had half-expected him to be lower, considering the Elf Prince was in fact, a Prince. But being one of the few who learned about the identity of this "Strider", it would seem that both of them were almost on the same page; the same status, regardless of their difference in race. Legolas trusted Thranduil's word, having to realize that he may have been right about the Ranger's father being a good man. No doubt that his son would be no different. From then on, the blonde showed a great amount of respect for him, having to form a quick friendly bond with him, in the process. With the said-Man's voice, Legolas' attention was then towards him, almost caught off-guard during his submerge within the memories of the princess. Giving the Ranger a small smile, he allowed the necklace to dangle from his grip, merely to let Aragorn see it. It shined within the moonlight, having to make the trinket a perfect representation of its previous owner.

"Yavanna", he breathed her name, loud yet soft enough for only the Ranger to hear, and not wish the others hear and pry; he trusted Aragorn's word. "My...star", it was going to take him awhile to say that last word. He certainly saw her that way, considering that she was indeed one, but he wasn't sure if he should use the term out of fonding affection.

Aragorn noticed the necklace around his neck. Tilting his head slightly...he saw the beautiful glow it gave off. But the necklace looked very very familiar...it indeed reminded him of the necklace, his beloved Arwen wore. Expect this one had a slightly different design and a blue moonstone. The name too was indeed familiar. There was only one Yavanna he knew and heard off...Arwen's little sister. Of course, the young elf would not remember him most likely. She was very small when he had left Rivendell.

"You mean...the youngest daughter of Lord Elrond?" the question slipped out...before Aragorn could even think twice about it. But he smiled, as he heard how Legolas referred to her as 'His Star.' "She must be all grown up by now." Aragorn spoke, more to himself in thought. "You must be rather fond of her." he said softly, He definitely did sound on the smitten side, judging by the way he said her name and what he called her a few moments ago.

Legolas went from smitten to surprise when he heard Aragorn imply that he knew the girl that the young Elven Prince grew fond of. "You know of her?", that was strange. How did this Man come to know Yavanna? In truth, Legolas only learned of the princess from his father, though never got the chance to physically see her, or find out what she was like, in the flesh. Was Yavanna widely known to everyone? Was it because that they viewed her as one of the stars of Middle Earth? The Elven Prince may have just realized that it might be her purity that made her so well-known. Could that be why the enemy wanted to harm her? To claim her light?

Aragorn chuckled a little at his surprised expression. "I think you look more surprised that I know her, than me, knowing that you know her too." he smiled at his new-found friend. His voice still lowered enough that only Legolas could hear him. "After the death of my father, my mother took me to safety...I grew up in Rivendell. It was my new home, I still consider it home. I know Lord Elrond's family...I do know of Yavanna...she was only about 2 when I left."

Legolas continued to feed his horse with some grass as he listened to Aragorn's story. So, he only knew Yavanna when she was just a young toddler; a very young child, who probably acted the same as she was now, with her innocence and all. However, he hoped to keep seeing her green eyes, as well as the light within them. With someone as special as her, he will never let it fade; that was a promise he was now vowed to keep.

Aragorn gave him a soft smile. The Strider was older than he looked due to his bloodline. And most, were always surprised to learn just how young Yavanna really was. In elven years, even compared to his age..she was still a mere child. But underestimating her, would not be wise...as she was intelligent and destined to be powerful, for an elf so young. He wondered how she had changed, since he had known her as a little child. Her family were lucky to have such a wonderful young elf as her, part of their lives. And any man, including Legolas was lucky enough to know her and one day, truly call her 'his.'

Legolas returned the smile to his newfound friend before looking back up at the starry sky. 'Be safe, Yavanna. I promise, I'll come back', he thought, where if could be heard by Saeril, who laid on the ground, right next to Kili and the princess. As their shared desire became simultaneous, the two she-Elves placed the Dwarf between them. Hearing Legolas' prayer, Saeril silently smiled, before turning over to see Yavanna, who was easy to spot over Kili's head, due to his small height.

Kili didn't protest, to being in the middle. It made him feel rather safe being in between the two she-elves that were his family. He watched the stars in the night sky...they were almost dancing, swaying with the wind it seemed.

As Yavanna was watching the stars in the sky, her mind was on Legolas. She hoped, he was doing alright among the company of the Rangers. And that the man-kind was not too harsh on the Elven Prince. She was missing him greatly. From the corner of her eyes; she saw Saeril's smile. Like the elder she-elf knew something. "What is it?" she asked her.

Saeril was still looking at Yavanna, having to know that Legolas' thought traveled all the way to her. The elder gave her a reassuring smile. "Oh, just heard something is all. Something that nature told me", she then looked back up at the stars. "They're saying, that Legolas wishes you to be safe. And, that he will come, in search of you", she basically translated the thought that she received from the Elf Prince, knowing that it will give the princess some hope that, sooner or later, he will return. With that said, she reached over and place a comforting hand on her forearm, having to give the girl a reassuring sign that everything will be alright between the two of them.

Though he may seem to be far away, he will never forget her face, or her presence. Legolas made it clear: he will return, and see her again.

Yavanna rose a slight eyebrow as she heard Saeril's words. "Nature told you something?" she asked. But she then blushed, her light seemed to glisten a bit stronger at the mention of Legolas and what he wished for her. Kili thought he had seen it a few times before; but this night it was very clear. Yavanna was falling in love...if not in love. And even the subject of Legolas, made the young she-elf blush and brightened her light. "See...I knew, things would be alright." Kili said softly...he tried to reassure Yavanna a few times before.

The young she-elf shook her head, hearing Kili. "Are you giving me, the I told you so speech?" she teased the Dwarf. Saeril's touch made her feel bit better, giving her that reassurance and hope. Yavanna smiled at her warmly, feeling thankful.
"Maybe?" Kili said with a light chuckle.

Saeril didn't want to tell Yavanna of her natural power; not yet, anyway. She didn't want to freak her out and say that she would know her every thought, but it would be amusing to how confused to princess would be to how received such private information. It was her secret way to understand her surroundings, as well as other people. Whether they were to be trusted or not. A perfect asset to provide the right sources to ensure Kili's and the princess' safety.

The elder chuckled at Kili's teasing and it amused her to how much they can act like children to each other, with her to be the mother of the group.

There were a few things, that Yavanna did not know about Saeril. If not many. And maybe that was a good thing. Yavanna probably would haven't have liked the thought, of someone prying into her most inner thoughts. But what she didn't know, can't hurt. Kili and Yavanna acted like siblings...teasing each other. Both were young and innocent. Kili enjoyed teasing her, if only to make her feel bit better. But of course, they both knew when to be serious and act their age...if not maybe beyond their years.

After a few moments of laughs and smiles, the disposal of energy have left Kili and the princess exhausted; sleeping next to each other, while Saeril stayed awake and kept watch, like how she always is. She was determined to keep both individuals safe, and their fates were not to be met until later in life. In short, they were still young, in need of someone older to support them until decided that they are ready go alone. However, with the current circumstances, Saeril wasn't going to allow it. Not for some time.

As Yavanna fell asleep, her head was resting against Kili's shoulder slightly. The pair kept close to each other, as they slept. Almost the mutual instinct to protect each other...even if they were asleep. Both of them seemed to be in a dreaming state...Kili dreaming off a happier time, with his elder brother by his side as they were young and up to their own adventures.
At first, Yavanna's dreams were bit unsettled...kind of like her emotions after the battle. But even in her dreams, there was one person whom she kept going back to. Legolas. It might have just been her inner desires, or the fact that she missed him. But seeing his face in her dreams, made her feel a little bit better. Almost like he was right there...if only for a few moments, in her sub-consciousness whilst she was sleeping.

Saeril remained awake for most of the night, before she caught glimpses of the dreams that the two sleeping individuals were experiencing. It was already clear that Kili would obviously miss his older brother, having to dream about him coming back into his life and laugh, like how they were as they grew up together. The elder smiled, quietly chuckling at the images, before going towards Yavanna's dream, having to witness it in full-circle.

Clearly, the girl missed the Elf Prince, and she could only guess that the news the winged she-elf told her about Legolas was enough to make the princess dream about him, hoping and waiting for his return. Saeril made a fond smile at the scene, knowing that the girl's future was to be a great one. She could only be proud of her "daughter", which was how she viewed her ever since.
