"Wait, destroying the tome was never a part of this plan. I know that Jonathan and I discussed it, but it was never part of this. As long as I am assured that the tome will be put in safe keeping, I agree." He said, looking mainly at Rapierre. Then looking around to the others. "That tome cannot be destroyed."

[Gardevoiran]

"That tome is a menace to society and it must be destroyed at all co-"

"That is his way of saying 'Yes, we shall do it.'"

"Good. You have our permission to recruit several of our scouts to you're cau-"

Ramona runs into the room, bringing with her a shred of a specific tome's cover. Brock's green tome. "Lord Light! Lord Light! We found this in the city of Threeson!"

As many people were talking at the same time, then the squire running in, he decided to listen to the confirmation order. "You said Threeson? We should head there first." He said, as looking at Jen. "She reminds me of Gobbo."

"In a way, she kind of is. Still, she is the best squire I have had, and I am glad to have her at my side."

Jonathan nods as he leaves the room with you, grabbing his things and finally losing the facade once you get far enough away from any passerby that don't know his true identity. "I do not think Brock and Magdalene are holding up well. Ramona. Send the scouts to the Threeson entrances. Tobias, we are going into the city ourselves."

Jen is leading you to the stables, it would seem. You did need something to ride if you were going to get to Threeson by nightfall.

"Good good. By the way, you'll have to show your true colors eventually." He said to her as they entered the stables. "I have faith in Maggie and Brock. It's Gobbo that I worry for."

[Gardevoiran]

"Why do you fear for Gobbo? He seems like he can handle himself," Jen says as the stables are opened, revealing Charlie being healed from his wounds and devouring a deer carcass as he looks at you two rather appropriately. Like he understands he's below you but he still wants to be respected.

"There is your steed. I will be taking my horse."

"I fear for him because he is quite honestly, very weak." He says, seeing Charlie. "Plant Snake! Hello!" He says rather excitedly, since he of course wanted one of his own.

Charlie affectionately roars as you address him, seeing as if he's missed you for the time you were separated. Maybe he just missed you because your the ticket to finding his master. Maybe he's just hungry and wants to eat you.

Whatever the case is, he lowers his head and positions for you to climb on.

Jen's own horse is a Clydesdale, fully grown and very strong. Her voice echoes to you as her eyes glow from behind her helmet. "The Light has shown me the way. Follow quickly, Tobias."

He mounts Charlie quickly and he begins to follow. "Right behind you." He calls out to Jen.

Jen leads the way on her Clydesdale as you embark for Threeson.

It is then that you realize you don't have the tome of necromancy on you, which could mean two things. Either Jen has it, or it's in the damn castle of righteous paladins.

Once he realized that he didn't have the tome, he rushed to get Charlie to stop. "Jen! Where is the tome?!" He yells, hoping that she didn't do anything stupid.

[Gardevoiran]

Jen turns around on her horse, Charlie not stopping to you whim, as she pulls the tome out of her bag. "Worry not. I hold the tome!" It is worth noting that, in her hand, there is clearly rising smoke and a very faint sizzling sound. Is holding the book dangerous for Jen?

It probably has something to do with the Light.

"Whoa whoa. You can't hold it, your Light interferes with its power." He said to her as he stared at its smoke.

[Gardevoiran]

"That is why it is in the bag," Jen says as she puts the tome back in her bag, waving her hand back at you to show the clearly-toasted skin on it. Her glove and gauntlet were crisped too. Maybe it wasn't bad for the tome, but it was just bad on Jen. All you could see is that her hand was roasted.

Alas, a golden light coated her hand as newly-formed bandages covered her hand. That was a weird spell.

As his steed kicked back up, he gained an persistent sense of anxiety, since he was being kept from the tome. But, he couldn't steal it from Jen, even if he tried. But he would get it... Soon enough...

Threeson - The Town of Criminals

Threeson was always a town of crooks and con-artists, trying to make their way. Well, the majority of it was. Those who could get their pay straight and stayed in their own business were allowed to move to the Northwestern fourth of the city, dubbed 'Richtown'. If Brock Sinclair was truly here, finding him would be tough within the three fourths of the city that could hold him.

You drop off Jen's horse at the stables before walking in with her, hearing her grunt with disgust at the streets of the city. "The order has always tried putting paladins here. Every time they were driven away. If they had listened to the Light they would know the proper way to do it," Jen said as you two walked towards a more run-down building, a couple of paladins sitting outside it drinking their cares away and hitting up the various wenches the city had.

You probably shouldn't touch the wenches.

"Well, not everything is meant to be controlled by some sort of Order. Chaos is what governs this city, so let it go." He said to her, guessing that it was okay to just keep Charlie at his side. Learning that this was a town of criminals, he kept a hand by his side, ready to draw if needed. "Besides, worse case scenario, we kill a few criminals on the way to the crew." He was excited for the fight.

Jen approaches the paladins, donning her helmet and clearing her throat. She has to still keep up her impression of Jonathan Light, after all.

"Scouts. What is the meaning of this slack?"

"Oh! Lord Light! Sorry we didn't tell you earlier, but we were waiting for you to come!" said one of the paladins receiving a current lapdance from a wench.

"This does not explain the wenches."

"Tony got bored. Apologies."

"... ... ... give me and Tobias your information and you will be dismissed for the rest of the day."

"Yessir!"

The paladin proceeds to explain to you the recorded locations of the various members of your party that have been dispersed through the city.

Gobbo D'es'Nutes was last seen in the ratway of Threeson, shouting aloud about some cockfighting matches with goblins. Odds are he's in the southwestern side of Threeson, considering most of the ratway business occurs there.

Magdalene was last seen in Richtown, however, nobody cares to explain what she was doing there exactly. You can only hope it's not bad.

Aithwale and Brock's whereabouts are currently unknown, however, there is a circus bordering the northeastern side of the city. Odds are, it'll likely be there that you find Aithwale. After all, who needs a real bear when you have a werebear?

After hearing the information, he turns to Jen. "I say that we split the work. I go and get Gobbo, you go get Maggie. Then we meet at the circus to retrieve Brock and Aith. Unless you have any other ideas." He says. As long as he gets the crew back, he doesn't care about how, but it would cut their search time in half.
