You're not being picky at all. There wasn't really any particular reason as to why I chose that red. But I will change it for ease. I don't expect on my posts to take part in three separate segments.

As for your character development, well, that is the whole point of these 1x1s. Definitely more about the interactive character building than necessarily telling a particular story.

There is no need for you to step up anywhere you don't feel necessary. My suggestion was merely so that you weren't waiting on my posts because my time to post can be very sporadic. I was merely suggestion joining other threads as well as keeping up on this one. But do as you feel appropriate.

Finally, thank you for your appreciation. My work there has fallen by the wayside for the moment. More pressing matters have arisen. That side project it to eat up my creative energy when I've got nothing else going on or at least getting in the way. My reason behind constructing it is that the alleged persistent world present on the guild is not really a true persisten world as one might experience on other forums or essentially as entire forums. So I decided to develope one that players will be encouraged to get involved with. I will eventually be releasing it to the public for their enjoyment or at least using it in -all- of my gmed threads. I'm glad it could inspire you.

So hey, I'm thinking we can both start creating our own character sheet in the character section, listing any fauna we might want to encounter on Locus. A separate sheet for any flora. That said, I've managed to design my first creature and they'll probably be the first creation on my list of Fauna, which I'll post at some point in the next day or two, hopefully. The means I have for creating the images of these things is kinda limited, but I'll do what I can.

I'm looking forward to building this world with you, Gains. It's gonna be fun.

I just wanted to check in and apologize for not being able to work more diligently on this particular thread. Or any thread really. I haven't had the opportunity to really write in a couple of weeks now. But know that I am still interested and I am slowly still working on finishing my initial post so we can move this thing along. Sorry again.

P.S. Hope you took my advice and were able to find another group/partner to write with while I struggle to keep up my end of the bargain.

Hey, Mr. Gains,

Thank you for the courtesy, however you need not apologize to me. I am neither impatient or upset with you. This RP will not likely sprout legs and run away, so short of some variety of cataclysmic event that ends civilization as we know it, then it isn't going anywhere. I believe in time our RP will grow and flourish into something great, but good things take time and urgency taints quality. Therefor no reason for burden or pressure can be found, and as much as writing is fun, I would hate to think that you are in any way tempted to sacrifice time with your family to RP with a stranger. So please, take your time and enjoy participating when you discover a chance to do so. Flavor is best savored.

To answer your postscript, I may or may not have some PM RP's on the go at the moment, but as for anything subject to the prying eyes of the open forum, you have been my only choice thus far, and I still feel honored you accepted my proposal. In time I might choose to partake in other open forum RP's, but nothing definitive has struck me yet.

Excellent.

You do quite well with the sound of academia. Keep at it and you'll find it comes more natural than you'll want to appreciate. Quite frankly, being smart has done nothing but make my life miserable. But that is another tale for another time.

As it were, the Mantal (was it?) did actually sound quite interesting. Enough information to adequately satiate my intrigue yet not so much reading as to squelch the sense of wonder that accompanied the new arrival. The creature appears quite reminiscent to an interpretation of a forest dragon from Legend of Dragoon. It easily peaked my interest. Good job.

Alright... another update here. I've added the second section to my post. I'm sorry it took so long. Quite busy on my end so I'm working as diligently as I can. I am hoping my employer decides to shut down for the three days in between Christmas and New Years allowing me to catch up on a lot of writing. But... no word on that yet. Anyway, this particular thread is taking priority over all over writing projects as this point in time including my World Building endeavor and Allaria so rest assured I am going to give it a real try to have the post finished by Wednesday.

"moving in directions that were only spoken about in circles of theoretical physics." Good one, made me laugh! I liked the whole update so far, Gains, and look forward to seeing the final installment.

Just have fun writing and fill in the blanks when you can, I'll be doing pretty much the same thing over the festive season, seeing that the holiday cheer will undoubtedly be busier than most of the year. That said, I'll probably post my next IC not so long after you complete your current post. In any case, it's good to hear you're as excited as I am about this RP. I think it's gonna work well, and judging by both our characters disposition, I think the interaction between them will end up being... uh... colorful. Sounds like fun to me :)

Hai, Mr. Gains.

I know you've been busy with family and stuff for the last couple of months, but it seems to me to be a little unlike you not to be online at all for what's over two weeks now. Regardless of the Role Play, I'm actually more worried about 'you'. I really hope nothing bad has happened to you. Then again, if something has happened, it's not like you'll be reading this post - but still, just thought I'd put this out there in case you're reading without logging in or something like that.
